A beautiful vanity tray that is 24 inches in. Plenty of room for all your favorite perfumes. Jewelry, make-up etc. Ornate gold handles with classic bow design on either side and there are 12 beautiful scalloped gold metal feet that create the base. The interior design is based on Italian revival and is created with a large piece of tile, cut in an oval shape, he border design was then cut into the tile and the entire oval was gold-leafed and set with a piece of heavy glass on the top to seal in the beautiful inlaid pattern. Pictures do not do this awesome tray justice. The craftmanship is second to none; it probably took many hours to complete ... morethis piece. It is hand-made and not mass produced. These came from an estate sale; item had one owner. WE ARE SELLING THIS AS-IS. AS DESCRIBED, AS PICTURED. DETAILS: It appears that the initial oval was cut and set into the frame; then a second piece was cut into the first to create the smaller oval in the middle. Inlaid design have a Italian style and were hand-cut and filled back in with some type of filler and then gold leafed. The piece was then completed with a piece of heavy glass and is locked into the fame. The bottom. Of course, covered in a purple protective felt. The fram itself has a gold metal rope border, 2 handles and 12 scallops that are similar design to the handles create the footed base. MEASUREMENTS: 24" in length from tip of handle to tip of handle 13 3/4" width at the widest point it stands 1 3/4" high/tall the handles appear to have been coated with a gold finish. We were unable to identify the manufacturer of this piece. This piece is HEAVY it weighs approximately 10 pounds before boxing. A great buy with free expedited shipping. Here is a vintage or antique green oynx with red streaks box with brass feet and trim. The lids sets a little off center but I think someone might be able to get this adjusted. It has red velvet lining on the inside and on the bottom. It measures about 5" square and 2 3/4" tall. There is a little chipping/roughness on one back corner. Shipping is available Monday-Friday.
