I have no definitive way to know for sure as I cannot find any identification on the lamps. In reading. I found there is a debate among collectors as to whether Heywood-Wakefield sold lamps(of their own manufacture or sub-contract manufactured) at all during the mid-century period. For sure these vintage period lamps will compliment any mid-century bedroom set or bathroom vanity whether they have a manufacturer's label or not. My deceased parents always purchased top of the line very expensive high quality furniture and accessories. So these lamps are that without any doubt. HISTORY OF SET: My parents purchased this set new before I was born. I never asked when. Nor do I have any childhood recollection of these lamps or the bedroom set they were delivered with to our home, so the lamps are post WWII and/or circa early 1950's is my best guess. Mid century vanity marked M536. 1951 on the back of the large mirror and pooffe swivel stool. 54" wide and 65" tall with mirror. Solid wood birch that was refinished with walnut stain in the mid 70s. Still very good finish, no scratches on front or top. On the right side, lower back corner, you can see where the wood split and was reglued. This was originally my mother's and I never noticed the split because of its position until I started polishing it up. Inside of drawers is original wheat color, excellent condition. Jewelry or makeup tray in top drawer. Top quality brand, very cool! The mirror has one tiny black mark at the bottom from the glazing wear and overall the mirror has a very slight haziness from age as well. The pouffe is really neat, and just needs new upholstery. Airflow 4 drawer dresser 1937-39 C3331 42" wide X 20" depth X 34" high Round Wall Mirror 1940-1942 G3735 36" round Both pieces have their original champagne finish. The mirror has been replaced and it is hung sideways in the picture. The dresser is s tructurally in very good shape Wood is not dinged or split or damaged in any way. Cosmetically the top finish is damaged as shown in the pictures. Since I am not a professional. I have not touched the finish in any way. I just covered the top and enjoyed the piece. For your consideration is this mid-century dresser and mirror by Heywood Wakefield. It is their M774 Sculptura Mr. Mrs. dresser in original Champagne finish. The top measures 56x19" and it stands 31" tall. Mirror size is 40x28" The original mirror in the photos is included. I was working alone and decided not to try to attach it. This one is structurally fine, it does show some random, minor wear and spotty finish loss to the top, really nothing out of the ordinary. Otherwise, it's very nice. They are factory dated 1951 on the back. The set includes a dresser. Vanity with mirror and two nightstands. The dresser measures approximately 34 inches wide by 45 inches tall by 19 inches deep. The vanity is 50 inches wide by 23 1/2 inches tall by 18 inches deep. The mirror is 44 inches wide by 38 inches tall. This auction is for an original Heywood Wakefield Encore M521 Champagne Finish 4 Drawer Dresser& 515 Mirror circa 1950. Measures: 42"W x 19.75"D x 33.5"H. With mirror it's 63.5"H Condition is as very good to excellent original. The mirror is very good with one small spot of missing silver. It needs a screw or bolt or two. It's a little wobbly. The front of the drawers have some wear to the finish. The top has always had a fitted glass cover so it's in great condition. Local Pick ups are welcome. Heywood-Wakefield Kohinoor Dresser with Wheat Finish ca. 1950 This is a beautiful Heywood-Wakefield Kohinoor dresser. Finish is listed as wheat. Dresser has 6 drawers. Dresser measures 56 inches long. 19 inches deep from front to back, and 32 inches tall. Minor surface scratches here and there. One small mark on top that appears to be a burn. This mark measures about 1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide. Mark is not deep and could be easily removed by a refinisher. Other marks are just surface type wear. No major damage anywhere. Wood is all structurally in great shape. Dresser drawer show the Heywood-Wakefield black company logo. Backside of the dresser shows some information written by the manufacturer including"Wheat" which is the finish for this piece. There is also a date stamp with the date 1951. This was purchased with an entire estate of furniture an has only had two owners within one family.
