This is a gorgeous almost queen-size period empire sleigh bed that dates from the 1860s era. We did some touch ups and repairs on the veneer chips in the shop. And sanded it down and re-sprayed the whole bed. It has its original bolt-in rails, and it measures 60 inches wide by 78 inches long on the inside. A queen-size bed is usually 80 inches long. If you want the bed extended, we will put an extension on the end of the rail for you at no charge to make it a modern-day queen-size. The outside dimensions are 63 inches wide, 32 inches on the footboard, and 43 inches on the headboard. It’s a beautiful bed that’s all set to go.
