ANTIQUE Mahogany Empire Style 2 Over 2 Drawer Dresser C1800's. Great find in an estate. Though it was painted still in great condition. Does need some restoration please read further to find out the flaws. Item in great condition for its age. One of the wheels falls out of its hole. There is a couple small nicks along the edge of the top. The top only has one screw holding it on. Some one has painted the sides brown. The top has some scratching and a couple holes where a mirror(not included) would have mounted. The drawer pulls have been changed to brass ones and missing one of them.

U p for auction is this magnificent Empire Style Solid Mahogany Man’s Chiffonier from around the 1830’s. The dresser was re-finished many years ago but the mirror was never re-finished. The drawers are dove-tailed and very thick. This does not have veneer. It is solid beautiful wood. It stands about 72’ tall and approx. 40” wide and is on the original castors. Up for auction is this lot of vintage RMS Queen Mary memorabilia including a travel alarm clock. A small dresser tray and a card with a picture of the ship. The clock doesn't run. But the alarm does work. The outside of the case has some water stains on it, mostly on the bottom. The clock doesn't run, but the alarm rings. The face of the clock has"Smiths EMPIRE" just under the 12, Alarmette" just above the 6 and says"Made in Great Britain" just under the 6. The little dresser tray measures about 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. The green mark on the back has a crown and reads Fine Bone China CROWN Est 1801 STAFFORDSHIRE England. The card measures about 8 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches and says R.M.S. Antique Empire Dresser (You Pick Up In Orange County, California)
Not sure of age. I am guessing 1800s to early 1900s. You may know better than I. Knobs have a mother of pearl design except for one knob which is different than all the others. There is a chunk missing on bottom of dresser. See pics. Some scratching and wear. See pics for idea of size and details. I have had this dresser for over 20 years. Beautiful grain and tons of character. I purchased it from an antiques store in San Bernardino. California. I was told it was from England. That's all the history I know. Minimum bid is a fraction of what I paid for it back then. I am in the process of relocation so this dresser(as much as I love it) must go. You pick this dresser up in Dana Point. California. Dana point is just south of Laguna Beach and just north of San Clemente. The dresser is in a residence so you must get it out of the bedroom ... moreupstairs and down three flights of stairs. Beautiful 4 piece Antique Empire Dark Wood Mahogany Dresser and vanity & Mirror
This Auction is for a Beautiful four pcs Dark Mahogany Dresser. Vanity, Nightstand, and very Beautiful Cheval Mirror. All pcs are in there original condition with no restoration' there are no broken are missing piece's. They do have normal wear. All have Dove-tailed drawer's and Ogee bracket feet. The mirror to the vanity has very nice C Scroll design with a rare Finial that looks like a drapery swag that also continues on both sides also. They are very heavy and solid pieces they are made by the Empire American Furniture Company in Johnson City Tenn, A company that has a very good reputation for there craftsmanship and well made pieces. I have a very nice Antique Flaming Mahogany American Empire style Dresser 3 over 2 by the Widdicomb Furniture Company. Grand Rapids, MI It has 2 Side Glove Boxes and a Removable Mirror Dovetail drawers Very good construction and all dressers are in good working condition As with any"antique" piece it may show signs on the exterior of wear and age for the piece. The type of silver metallic thread used for this dresser scarf is no longer in use. The central motif is a flower surrounded by graceful leaf designs. The two side borders feature butterflies with flowers. Vines, and leaves. Both edges are scalloped with silver thread. The dresser scarf is handmade so the scalloping is uneven. The embroidery is in excellent condition with one small dark spot and a little yellowing on one edge near the mat. The color is ice-blue with metallic silver thread. Beautiful Empire Style Mahogany Dresser with full mirror; probably made in the 1920's; 3 small drawers on top. 2 full width drawers on bottom. Mirror is removable, and adjustable. Great condition overall, though there are a few marks here and there indicating it was in a functioning home where it was used daily maybe; but nothing I would call damage or scarred. This is a beautiful Empire Art Gold& J.B Dresser tray. The tray features over 125 prong set emerald faceted glass jewels bordering the entire tray. Engraved above the jewels are embossed wreaths and bows. The bow handles are also beautifully engraved. The tray measures 13" long and 7" wide and sits on 4 ball feet. The condition is very good. Empire Dresser, mahogany, mirror veneer, ca. 1830, Antique, good condition
An Empire Bureau. Or chest of drawers made of mahogany in the early half of the 19th century. This is a grand piece of furniture that would look great in any large space-hallway, large master bedroom, dining room. We had it in our hallway in a 1803 house in upstate New York. There are four large drawers and three small drawers at the top. The largest drawer is directly below the three small top drawers, consistent with the style. Drawer fronts are a mirror veneer, rest of the wood is solid. The drawer pulls are brass. This is a solid, well-built dresser. It is heavy. It stands about 52 inches high, is about 47 inches wide and about 21 inches deep. The drawers are about 16 inches deep. The finish is in relatively good condition; there are scrapes, scuffs, nicks and scratches but it would not necessarily need any work. There is a crack in the ... morewood on one of the sides(visible in photo) The drawer slides could use some repair work, but the drawers function. I believe that the dresser is from the early half of the 19th century because the nails used on the back boards are type I cut(photographed) The back boards are soft wood with a rich brown patina on the back, the part exposed to air.
