I don’t like to always say this, but it resembles a piece from Horner although I don’t believe it to be made by Horner. It is certainly a high-end quality piece. It has an extra heavily 1.25 bevel edge mirror that swivels and is in good condition. The mirror is wrapped around by a solid brown mahogany frame with carvings all the way around, rope twist going up and the very top corners having angels carved in both sides. The base has a beautiful rose quartz bevel edge marble top. The miniature knobs on the base look like miniature doorknobs.

This is a charming 19 th century flame mahogany veneered miniature American Empire chest of drawers. It measures 12 ¼” wide x 7” deep x 12” tall. It has tiny inlaid wood patterns at the top of each side to replicate carved wood. It even has a small brass lock that appears to be a working lock. Though there’s no key to test it. I imagine this miniature chest was built as a salesman’s sample or an apprentice piece. Please see all photos to get a full sense of the condition of this chest. The finish on the right side is crackling and rough and has splits in wood. There’s a split around a knot of the left side of the chest. The top has a thin split and a knot in the wood. A 19th century Empire chest of drawers in figured light wood. Measuring approximately 39" tall, 45.5" wide, and 25" deep at the bottom(its deepest point) We do not know the maker. There is wear and tear commensurate with age and use, including a few veneer issues on the feet(please see photos) It is structurally sound and there are no major problems. All of the drawers have locks(we do not have the key) and all of the pulls are replaced. It has been refinished. Please view the images as an extension of the description.
