This Victorian- Eastlake walnut dresser is a fine specimen of the Eastlake period of simple but elegant design. The mirror latch shows a date of August. 1884. The piece has four dovetail drawers and a cabinet with a turning wood handle latch. 1800s Eastlake Hand-Carved Mahogany Dresser Top Shaving Swivel Mirror w Drawer
This is an antique Eastlake hand-carved dresser cabinet with a swivel mirror and one drawer. Quite unusual and ornate in styling. Lots of hand-carved detailing including a lovely Victorian fern in a pot on the top of the drawer. The initials"DB" are carved into the pot of the fern. Perhaps this was made as a gift to"DB" In generally good condition with what appears to be the original finish. The mirror has a good deal of silver loss but no cracks or chips. It sits firmly and holds its position when swiveled. There is a small stress crack on the left rear corner(next to the mirror support) which has been repaired and is now quite stable. See close-up. The rest of the piece is remarkably free of scratches or cracks. The bow-front drawer slides open and closed smoothly. Appears to be the original, ornate knob. Fine Eastlake Victorian Chestnut & Walnut Drop Center Dresser
Up for auction is a Victorian drop center dresser. It is special in that it is made of American Chestnut. A species that was wiped out by chestnut blight- very few mature specimens exist today. The dresser is in good condition, with the exception of a small repair(pictured) and some dings from someone's overzealous hammer use. The original beveled mirror is in good shape with some streaking as expected for a 130+year old mirror. The dresser would be a great accent piece, or could be converted to a sink basin. Oak Eastlake Spoon Carved Dresser with beveled mirror
For your consideration is this beautiful oak Eastlake style dresser. With intricate spoon carving throughout. It's three drawers have the original pressed brass handles. Overall condition is good, although it is an antique and so the occasional scratch or ding should be expected. The grain on this piece is incredibly tight and bespeaks true old growth lumber construction. The drawers are dove-tailed, although it should be noted that the middle drawer has had the sides and bottom replaced. Please note that the streaks in the beveled mirror are the result of my failed Windex job, not an imperfection in the mirror. The mirror itself is near perfect, with only small spots of very faint clouding in the upper corners(I had actually never noticed them until careful inspection in preparation for selling) Dimensions are as follows: 17.5 inches ... moredeep. 41 inches wide, base is 31.5 inches tall, mirror adds an additional 40 inches(overall height 6ft. This was one of my first antique purchases. And we have since moved towards a walnut Renaissance Revival style, so it was time to find this piece a home where it won't be such a misfit. Antique Vintage Eastlake Victorian Walnut Dresser
Eastlake Victorian walnut dresser was made in late 1800's. The Eastlake movement downplayed the ornate Victorian furniture. This was American made and I was told it was from the New England area. The dresser is in very good condition for its 100 plus years. There is a split in the wood on top of the left handkerchief drawer. Very unique Eastlake drawer pulls. Measures 38" wide and 34" to top of dresser and 42" to top of glove drawers. Dove tail drawers. Must pick up location is Southern California. Winchester is 60 miles north of San Diego on the I-15. Original Eastlake late 19th century miniature accessory\ jewelry box. Made in Eastlake fashion out of solid Mahogany with a what appears to be a walnut top. Dimensions are 10" and 3\4" inches wide X 7" and 1\4" deep X 8" and 1\2" inches high. The piece was made in a high quality shop. Using all solid high grade wood. There are small holes on each corner indicating to me it once has casters or small buttons on each corner, The workmanship is excellent and most of it's construction is 1\2" solid mahogany. Up for auction is this very. Very nice pair of dresser or clothes brushes. Purchased from a very high end estate sale in Northern New York, this set is of high quality. The Silver B, seller is not certain of silver content, as they are not marked, however, is very decorative and ornate. Seller estimates possible 1880's as the date based on the accompanying items. Ebony black back.one is scratched on the side(please see picture) otherwise these are in fine shape. Black shoe polish should work to correct. The measuring stick determines the length and width. Is 89" in height. 17" in depth and needs someone to care for& restore it ~ The Eastlake piece became part of our antique store inventory, when it was left buy a consignor. After it was damaged ~ The marble was broken. Some time ago, but the ornate top became unassembled and the end piece broken off. When it was attempted to be moved ~ We have housed(not stored) this beautiful piece. Since we closed the doors of our store ~ A recent move now has us having to find her a new home ~ The dresser/vanity ... moreis absolutely repairable. With all pieces present ~ It will need a new marble top. But is quite usable, with the one that exists The current marble is broken in two places ~ The right corner has been glued. So the actual top is in two pieces, not three ~ The damaged crown. Top piece, is removable(pic 3) ~ Dresser can be used without it. Here for your consideration are some incomplete parts of old Eastlake furniture drawer pulls. One is complete with the all the harware. The other two are missing the drop pull and one is missing the pin for the drop. The back plate on these measures almost 3.5" long with the measurements betwwen the holes being 1.5" The plate is 1 3/4" tall. These are a gold gilt brass that has and oldd patina and left unpolished as found.

It has been finished with a lovely marble surface and a large mirror top. The mirror has a beautiful and ornate carved design. Three large drawers sit below the marble surface. The drawers have dovetailed construction. All of the drawers are 33" wide and 14" deep. The top drawers is 6 1/8" tall. The middle is 7" tall and the bottom is 8 1/2" tall. The entire set-up measures 86" in height. It is 41 3/4" at the widest point. And 17 3/4" deep. It weighs approximately 177 pounds. The exposed marble surface measures 40 7/8" by 13 3/4" This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are no visible cracks or repairs. This elegant Dresser has a light/medium stain finish color, and it has ornate antique Brass/Brass-finish handles, see pictures. This Dresser is a high-quality piece with a classic Victorian Eastlake-style design, see pictures, and it comes with a gorgeous Mirror with carved accents on the frame. This wonderful Dresser has elegant hand-dove-tailed drawers that are made of solid wood in the inside. And they are working properly. The condition of this Dresser with Mirror is secure and sturdy with some minor scratches/dents here and there proper to its age and as part of its wear& tear. See pictures. If you have been looking for that"consumate" affordable antique bedroom dresser. Here is your chance to own a very nice piece. This is a wonderful Circa 1880's Eastlake Dresser with Mirror. It appears to be in good overall condition. The dresser is made of Walnut and decorated with Burled trim on the drawers. The piece is quite large and will definitely make a statement in any room. Simply put, it is a stunning piece of well-made furniture. The dresser measures approximately 7 feet 8 inches tall, 43 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. The mirror appears to be original. The locking mechanisms are still affixed or attached to each drawer(no key) I doubt you will find a nicer piece than this one, for the money. Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Bed & Dresser w/ mirror Set Circa1880
I have a beautiful Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Period Bedroom Set(Circa: 1880) This gorgeous Victorian Bed measures 70” in total height from the floor to the high spot on the headboard. And 55” in total width. The total outside length of the bed is 77” The inside(mattress area) dimensions are 52" x 73" just shy of a standard bed(54 x 75) but way more than a 3/4 bed. Since it has the original spring frame, I had a mattress mfg cut their standard mattress to fit. Didn't cost extra. The dresser is 74" tall, 39" wide, and 19" deep, with beautiful brass hardware. The swivel mirror is detachable. The mirror itself is not original, and is in good shape. The bed and dresser were both refinished in the 1960's, and have a lovely hand rubbed finish. Of course, with items this old, there are nicks and dings, ... morebut they in no way diminish the beauty of the furniture. I am located in the big town 35 miles north of Branson, MO(Springfield, MO) Please bring your own blankets, ropes, truck, etc. Sale is final. Please ask if you'd like other measurements or pictures.
