Antique vintage French Louis XV style dressing vanity
it has to be picked up. No shipping. the finish is far from perfect but still a beautiful display piece. i think the wood is oak but i'm not an expert by any means. it has chinese decor on it, three piece folding mirror, cane seat bench matches, the back has 921 stamped on it and i can't find any other markings as to the maker. it has scratches, chips and staining on the deck, some of the chinese decor is broke off and gone. NOTE: I did find the wooden back to the center mirror and it is now included.

The Two Candle Stick Holders are 5ins tall, the Large Powder Puff Jar/Box is about 5.5ins tall with Lid, the Two Smaller Jar/Boxes are about 3.5ins tall with their lids, and the Small Ring/Trinket tray is just a bit over 3ins across. I could not find any chips. Cracks, damage or repairs. Some seams are rough and there are bubbles, and swirls leftover from it's creation but that is the Charm of Vintage glass and I love it for that reason. I couldn't see wear or scuff marks when I packed it, I think it was never used to it's purpose, just on display? PLEASE NOTE, this is Vintage and listed as USED, even though I think it spent it's life boxed somewhere ... moreor behind glass! The Dupont brand name for an early nitrocellulose plastic, similar to Bakelite. Given the style of the piece and the chronology of Dupont's plastics development timeline, this item very likely dates to the 1920s. Graceful ovoid shape is embellished with Art Nouveau flourishes. RS Germany Hand Painted Vanity/ Dressing Table Jar/ Green Stamp
This is a gorgeous example of the RS Germany's ceramic ware. This piece has a hand painted lid with an iridescent lustre on its base. It has two gold plated lines at the top and bottom of this vanity jar. It is in great shape with no cracks. Dings or wear one should know of. It is stamped RS Germany in green. This was the Tillowitx factory that did this before World War 1 into World War 11. RS Germany is part of the wording in marks used by the Tillowitz. Germany, factory of Reinhold Schlegelmilch from 1914 until about 1945. The porcelain was sold decorated and undecorated. The Schlegelmilch families made porcelains marked in many ways.
