Very Rare Vintage Antique Art Deco Fan? Swartzbaugh. Working! No Reserve
My husband and I have taken this fan to over 6 antique stores. Searched the internet for hours on end and have not been able to get much information about this item. The only other one we found was posted in a blog over a year ago by a man who was also trying to get information about his fan. It appears to be some sort of fan or primitive evaporation cooling system made by Swartzbaugh Manufacturing Co. in Toledo Ohio. It is called the Klenzair Air Washing Fan. We did find that Swartzbaugh was bought out by another company in 1935 and began manufactoring in the late 1800's. This fan is either very late 1920's or early 30's. There is a water fill line marked on the inside of the fan and has vented area above the blade that seems to force air toward the water area. Original Vintage 1940/50's MAC Australian Made. Bakelite Desk Fan Classic Australian Made MAC fan. Bakelite seems fine. I can’t see any cracks or other damage and would clean up well. This is an oscillating model which I think is rarer. It also pivots on the stem. There is On/Off and speed marked on the base but the bump for the switch hasn't been drilled out, so I don’t know how you would turn it on/off as I guess the lever on the back is for the oscillation? Nice aluminium fan blades. And would all polish up. Offered for restoration or display only without any guarantee it will run! Would need safety test and new cable as a minimum. Roto-Beam air circulator fan I am offering an early version(first version? of the Roto-Beam air circulator. This has a lot going for it. Prop type blade. Fan pivots 360 degrees on the deco stand. Sleek beautiful lines that embody the spirit of the machine age. I wiped some dust off this but did no further cleaning. It needs a good going over to really look its best. Natural patina is intact. There are a couple of minor dings on the bullet shaped motor casing, and a few specks of finish loss. The cord was replaced at some point. The fan was tested and is in good working condition with a nice quiet smooth motor. I have owned a lot of old fans but this will be the hardest to part with. Just an awesome fan. Emerson Fans Were Built to last! Art Deco EMERSON 1930's Antique 6-Blade Oscillating Electric Fan RESTORED Super*Estate Sale Find* Emerson Model 71666 12 inch oscillating fan with three speeds. It has 6 brass blades with a steel fan cage and a 6 pole motor that runs slower than a 4 blade fan allowing the fan to move the same amount of air at a slower speed. It appears to have had a restoration at some point in the past because it is still in great condition and works beautifully. It's very quite. All three speed work and it oscillates as it should. It does show some slight signs of use.there are a few minor scratches to the black cage where they come together and one of the screws are missing from the cage, but doesn't effect the operation. 18" tall with an 8" diameter base.

Rare Art Deco Brass Blade 1930s Hunter Ventilation Oscillating Fan Restored Exc!
Here is a beautiful and rare Hunter Ventilation Company mid to late 1930's brass blade oscillating fan. It appears to have had a restoration done to it at some point. Not sure how long as I acquired this at an estate auction. But the cord has a piece of tape on one spot, as shown in the last picture, and there are a couple of places where the paint is chipped, also shown in the pictures. But this fan works and looks great. The blades are 16" across the total fan stands 20 1/2" tall. The video really shows the power of this fan, it really moves the air. Thanks for looking!

Offered is a Telechron model 2H07 Art Deco call clock in very good condition. This model was introduced in 1938 and I believe it dates to between 1938 and 1942. The clock is marked Warren Telechron Co. which was changed to Telechron Inc. in 1946 and between 42 and 45 production would have supported the war effort. While this is a popular model made over a long period of time this is definitely a nice example of an early version of this model. Antique Vintage Bertmar Art Deco Bim Bam Chime Mantel Clock Up for bid is an antique Art Deco bim bam chime mantel clock. The case is finished in medium mahogany and is in good condition. It has solid hinge and clasp mechanisms that close tightly and the glass is not damaged. The movement is a quality German pendulum type and needs to be level to operate. The glass has no fading or cracking and the dial is in very good shape. It possesses an ornate wooden brocade molding at the front base as seen in photo#8. There is slight crazing at the sides and lower molding that could not be captured in a photograph. The original trademark on the front and original operating instructions inside the rear door are intact. Overall. It is a very nice clock. It sounds harmoniously on 3 chiming rods in bim bam style. ad Restored 1930's Bakelite G-E Kitchen Clock Model 2H08 Garçon Trying desperately to make room in my house and send some Telechrons to good homes. Won't you please help? Bid on this swell red. Steel-cased electric kitchen wall clock. This model is was popular before the War. Briefly discontinued and re-appeared after the War and sold until about 1948. This particular clock is the very first gene ration of Garçon. You can tell by the split f eather sweep hand so it was probably made in 1937. G lass. Convex crystal. Bakelite(textolite? back. Reset signal works and will tell you of a current interruption by showing a red flag under the numeral 12. The rotor was running loudly so I added some oil and now it's very quiet. I thoroughly cleaned this clock inside and out. The cleaned the case with turpentine to remove all traces ... moreof grime and smoke. The movement was ultrasonically cleaned and oiled with good. Synthetic clock oil. Repainted the case with red enamel. Tele crhon rotor keeps perfect. Quiet time(it's very close to s ilent) The power cord is a replacement as the original rubber one wasn't safe. Really the only negative is the crackly di al. Usually whe n yo u see this kind of damage. The dial is rust y but that is NOT the case with this one. The dial has no rust and the uniform pattern to the crackl e actuall y looks cool. I was on the fen ce for a couple of weeks about whether or not to keep this one but I have another one just like it. You can see it on telech r on.net) This one came out of a repai r shop that closed and still had the box. Som e one wrote"Can't set hands" on the outside of the box(the box is nowhere near mint) Indeed. I couldn't set the hands as minute sleeve was frozen and the set pinion was wrecked. I rep laced pinion keeping the or iginal back plate and yes. Now you can set the hands just fine. I guess whoever owned the clock didn't want to pay to get it fi xed. Thei r loss. Your gain. 1940's RED Vintage ART DECO General Electric KITCHEN WALL CLOCK
Here is a super cool retro kitchen clock. 6-3/4" across and 6-3/4" high x 1-3/4" thick. Made by General Electric. This kitchen wall clock has the deco look. It is made of metal with a red painted finish with black line accents and a chrome trim around the face. There is a great aged patina about this you jast cannot get with a new clock. The face is darker from age and there are even tiny paint dots on the top. May be missing a tuny know that would have been screwed onto the end of the pin you use to set the time but you can still pull out and turn the hands. Jsut needs a new wire and it is set to go. Great fun project. Or just set it at 5 o'clock hang it up and leave it. Cool decor item reguardless of what time it is. A kind person was nice enough to let me know that the back of this clock was put on backwards. So I flipped ... moreit and while the back was off I also added an interior shot. ANTIQUE FRENCH ART DECO PORCELAIN INKWELL BY GEORGES BASTARD- E. MARGERIE - RARE
Offered for Auction: A Rare Art Deco Pottery Ink Well created by Georges Bastard(French 1881-1939) and colorfully hand decorated and signed by E. Margerie. Per Wikipedia Georges Bastard was born into a very accomplished family of artisans and was appointed the director of the National School of Decorative Arts of Limoges and the Manufacture nationale de Sevres. The lively decoration has pairs of stylized flowers in cobalt and yellow and bold. Black free-form lines which link the flowers. In the center of the cobalt flowers there are holes on either side of the opening, I assume for holding the pens or for dipping. The ink well would have had a rounded cover with a hole, however that is missing. The ink well probably dates from the late 1920's to early 30's and is signed on the bottom Bastard, Paris 16/1400 Made in France. I have not ... morefound any further information regarding E. Margerie. Condition: Good given its age and use. However there are some rough and discolored areas inside of the well as shown. There is a production hairline crack on the inside of the lip as shown(it is glazed over) The bisque bottom is discolored. The ink well measures approximately 1 1/2" H x 3 5/8 in diameter at its girth and the opening is about 1" in diameter and it weighs 4 oz. A nice addition to anyone's Art Deco or Ink Well collection.
