This is a vintage advertising store display sign for The Foot Savers John H Garner Company advertising shoes for women that control the arch. The sign is solid bronze mounted with brass. It is probably from the 1920's Art Deco era. The sign was made by The Kemper Thomas Company located in Cincinnati. Ohio and is marked on the back of the sign. Someone added a small wire hanger so the sign can be hung on the wall. There are three mounting brackets on the back of the sign so it must have originally been used on a store display. This interesting full sized bedframe dates to the 1930’s and is in good condition with mostly original materials that would benefit from restoration. Other pieces in this Art Deco suite are also currently for sale in my other listings. This and all pieces in the suite are numbered 4135. The headboard features a solid dark wood base(possibly Black Walnut) and blond(possibly White Acer) combed wood accent. The footboard has the same dark wood with a Fabrikoid faux leather upholstered interior with blond combed wood on the outside hugging the curves on the wraparound edge. Also included are the sideboards and mattress holders. The sideboards both have the original paper Herman Miller tags used for delivery. Including ... morea partial address. There are six holders that would accommodate a 1x3 support trim and hold a mattress on top. Judging by the holder hardware, the support system was never used to secure wood trim. The pin measures approximately 2 7/8 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide at the widest point. The silver at the top of the Lucite triangle is 3/4 of an inch long. The Lucite triangle is 2 1/4 inches long, and the black onyx stone in the sterling setting is a little over 1 inch long. The back of the onyx piece is marked 925 for sterling silver. This is a very nice 10K Gold and Onyx enameled Eastern Star ring from the 1920's. It is a size 7.25 and weighs 2.8 grams The top is 14.1mm tall and 12.1mm wide. It is in very good condition. The star has some wear with some enamel worn off as would be normal for a ring this old. As the star is fairly small. 7/32" wide, the missing enamel is not easily seen. A great deco setting with a beautiful cushion shaped black Onyx holding the star.
