The large section in front 27 1/2 inches x 10 inches, it appears there was a divider in the center of this section at one time The 3 sections in the back are all 6 inches deep. 2 are 10/12 inches, the other is 5 1/2 inches. Here we have today is something really unique. A great estate find. Here we have a handmade toy storage piece in the shape of an old truck from the 1950's-1960's. This great piece is very special, it is one piece, it is 52 1/2" long, the cab is 16" long, it is 28" tall and 17" wide. Truck has wheels on the bottom for easy moving, and as you will see from the photo, they are old. Everything is nice and tight, piece shows average wear, tear, bumps and scrapes for it's age. During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century and is confirmed of a chinese origin. It was part of a recent London house clearance where the owner was a collector of Chinese and Japanese quality items from various centuries. Wonderful and intricate decoration to the chest of drawers with the hand painting to the three drawers and the sides. Metallic decoration to the corners to the front and to the top. To the top: a sliding panel with the centrepiece of the pivotal watch holder. Padded with an overall diameter of about 2.25inches. The chest of drawers has an overall size of about 5.75 x 3.25inches. Handsome Mahogany Collectible Display Chest
Handsome collectible mahogany chest produced to hold the Presidential Oval Office Collection. The chest contains four drawers with insets lined in blue felt to hold the ovals of the presidents but could be used for other medals. Jewelry, etc. The front hinged flap comes down to show the four drawers. A brass placque on the hinged top reads the Oval Office Collection and the seal within the hinged top reads Two Centuries of American Presidents.
