The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. Fredric J. Haskins(1872-1944) was a syndicated newspaper columnist known for his feature answering all sorts of factual questions from his readers. Many of these were included in his book Answers to Questions published in the early 1920s. One of these two sheets promotes the soon to be published second volume in the series. Offering an autographed copy. The second, two-sided, sheet lists more than 100 informational booklets that can be ordered from the Haskin Information Bureau in Washington, D. C. Both sheets have been folded horizontally, but otherwise are in very good condition. The book coiuld be had for $1.00, the booklets for from 4 to 10 cents.

Antique Vintage Doll's Bureau Dresser with Mirror or Salesman's Sample
Antique Doll's Bureau- Up for auction is an old doll's bureau or perhaps a salesman's sample. It has two drawers with wooden knobs and an above tilt mirror that needs to have a couple of more nails put in the sides for support on the back. Currently. Someone taped the back with duct tape, but this can easily be corrected. The drawers are ribbed and the bureau is painted with delicate flower detail on the front of the drawers. The paint is shabby style, but I did not repaint, preferring to leave that to you if you wish. The bureau measures 15" tall(including the mirror) 10.5" wide and 6.5" front to back.
