Up for you consideration is: Kensington 16" aluminum and brass vanity tray The round. Aluminum part of the tray is 16 inches in diameter and stands less than 2 inches tall. There are some minor. Small scratches in the aluminum, but not to serious. I lightly cleaned this item with soap and water and dried it right away. So some detailing may be in order. There are 3 feet made of brass that hold it off the table.I have not cleaned these and they show their age. See pictures) Picture#5 shows the bottom of a foot to show how it stays on. A fine Art Deco period English sterling silver hallmarked pair of brushes in a fantastic electric blue guilloche enamel with sunburst engine-turned decoration. Hallmarks are for Birmingham. England and the date letter is for 1936. Very good condition. A few very minor superficial scratches in the enamel and some minor edge denting along the outer sterling rim but nothing visually distracting. Dukes, queens, even Al Capone order two. This is based on research. The case is made of a very fine leather of which I am not familiar. It has the original beveled mirror mounted inside. The brushes appear to have the bristles set in ivory. There appears to be gold overlay on various pieces. The case is missing the handle. But this could be easily replaced. I notice a thinning enamel wear spot on the larger brush wear the fingers would hold the brush. Also, two light flecks of clear enamel loss on lids. The overall condition is superb and near impossible to find a case in this good a condition. This set is truly museum quality. The case measures 8" by 5 1/2" by 3 1/8" Just an incredibly rare find!

Up for sale is this ART DECO era unusual combination large four drawer dresser/vanity with mirror. It has two smaller drawers and jewelry section in the center on top and two really large drawers on the bottom. I have tried to show the lift up jewelry section in a separate picture. It is 46” wide. 20” deep and 26” high. The mirror is 28X30. I have the pieces that attach the mirror to the back of the dresser/vanity but was not able to get it all into one picture. It is in the original finish and has some flaws on the finish as you can see. The mirror is fine and very heavy. Here for your consideration is an antique ART DECO Art Glass Cut Glass crystal perfume bottle and dauber. This measures a total of 6" tall with a base measurement of 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" It is rhombus in shape with faceted edges. The flaring dauber compliments the design. This has a cut sunburst or starburst pattern. Both the top of the dauber. Top of the perfume and bottom of the perfume are ground smooth. The inside of the perfume and the part of the dauber that sits inside are also ground. This is in good condition with wear reflective of age and use. There is a nip on the upper corner of the dauber but nothing that distracts from the piece. The perfume has a shallow chip on one side and a few nips to the edge facets and upper rim as well as one on the inside of the upper rim. Pair of ART DECO celluloid/ivorine vanity set makeup/toothbrush brush cases
ART DECO Vintage celluloid/ivorine vanity set makeup/toothbrush brush cases These are two beautiful cases. Made of an ivorine celluloid, the larger of the two is 16.5cm long and just over 2cm wide and there is a shorter one, which is just under 12cm and the same width and depth as the other one. Each one of these is decorated with an ivy leaf motif. In relief against the cream coloured background and in a deep shade of leaf green. These are in good. Vintage condition, although I notice that they are fractionally varying in colour and also, one seems a little shinier than the other. This difference is negligible and I would rather sell them as a pair, as this is how I have always had them. They are part of my own collection of vintage celluloid and other plastics. These would date from the 1920's/30's. The longer one is meant to hold ... morea toothbrush and has a hole at either end. Which would be for drainage. The smaller one does not have the holes, so I don't think it was meant to hold a wet item. Probably for make-up pencils and/or brushes. They are lovely examples of a bygone era and lifestyle and are charming items in their own right. They look good displayed along with vintage dressing-table items and/or jewellery and work particularly well if displayed with items of a similar colour. RW & S Wallace Sterling Silver Art Deco Vanity Set Early 20th Century
Up for auction is a absolutely beautiful Sterling silver Art Deco Vanity Set. Includes both a hand mirror and a hair brush. Stunning art deco geometric design with both delicate etching and streamlined form. This set screams jazz age! The set is sterling silver. I believe they are holloware. The brush is probably made with boars hair or some other stiff bristled hair and the hair is embedded in the original wood block. Both pieces are marked"RW& S Sterling" with the stags head mark between the RW and S(early 20th century) The brush and mirror are also both marked"77-41" Good vintage condition barring some minor cosmetic issues listed below. The mirror has a slight bend where the handle meets head of the mirror housing. Mirror is still very stiff and usable. Original glass is very clear besides a few light scratches ... moreand small chip int he upper right. Mirror is still solid in housing and very clear. Brush appears to have all or most of it's bristles still firm and intact. Brush has the same slight bend at the base of the head that the mirror has. My guess is that the bends happened naturally from use since that is where the pressure falls. Both pieces have some minor dents to the exterior. I have attempted no polishing or cleaning above and beyond a cursory wipe-down. And leave that to the buyer. ~ Stunning ~ Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company was established in 1916. They produced a variety of practical and art glass items. This vanity set dates to around 1920. They made several styles of perfume bottles. Puff boxes and trays and matched the color and decoration to make attractive sets. This set is deep amber colored glass with applied silver decoration. The bottles are from their 198 line and the puff box is from their 502-5 line. Both 5 3/4" bottles have their original dabber lids that are ground to fit. The tips of the dabbers are broken off which is not surprising in sets of this age. The puff box has its original lid with mushroom finial. It measures about 4" in diameter. Condition: No chips. Estate found.set of four art deco apothecary/vanity jars with white etched transfer design. All are in terrific condition with no breakage. One lid is missing. But this bottle does not appear to be part of the set of the other three pieces. There is residue of the original contents(I have no idea what these bottles held.cologne, perfume, bath oils? The tallest bottle measures approx. 8 1/2" tall with a diameter of 3 5/8" The shortest is a lidded jar which measures approx. 3 3/4" tall with a 2 3/4" diameter. The others are in between. This is an Art Deco 7-piece set of Pink Sowerby Glass in the Butterfly pattern or number 2552. As far as I can tell this pattern dates back to the 30's. The set is in very good condition except the container that has no cover. That piece has a couple of chips on the upper edge. I can find no damage to any other pieces.

This is a vintage Art Deco blue glass dresser or vanity tray with 2 handles attached with silver-tone. It has 4 rubber feet on the bottom. It is 9" by 12" Condition is very good but it has a very small chip on the sides of 2 corners as seen in the last 2 photos that are not noticable unless in the light. There are also some surface scratches or mars as some seen in the 8th photo. There is some wear to the silvertone handles. The bottom of the glass has some smears or whatever you call it as seen as the 7th photo. It probably sounds terrible but when just sitting there or in use these flaws are not really seen. It makes a great display piece for any vanity. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. This unique piece dates to the 1930’s and is in good condition with original finish that needs minor restoration. Other pieces in this Art Deco suite are also currently for sale in my other listings. This and all pieces in the suite are numbered 4135, this one with the Gilbert Rohde Design furniture tag on an inside drawer. The vanity or desk features 5 combed wood veneer(possibly White Acer) drawers with 3 on one side and a double and single drawer on the other. It has a floating Formica covered biomorphic shaped top above the sturdy wood(possibly Black Walnut) base. The coordinating biomorphic mirror has adjustable height sliders that would make it a beautiful desk in a home office or ... moreart studio. On the back are simple hooks that secure the mirror for hanging individually. The vanity has some sun damage to the finish but the wood underneath seems to be unharmed. Found locked away in the attic of a lovely old home in Newport. Rhode Island. This set is monogrammed"JP" in a wonderfully modern Art Deco font. Each and every piece in this set is made up of lustrous solid sterling silver. From the brush handles to the collapsable shaving brush. To the wonderful little sterling box that holds the collapsable razor and 8 of the ORIGINAL early 20th century"King Gillette" razor blades. All in their original paper wrappers. Most. I was told that the former owner was a stockbroker from New York who summered in Newport. So what exactly do we have here and what are the dimensions? Military-style hair brush measures 4 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches- bristles are in fine condition and only a slight bump or two to the silver. Does not detract. Clothing brush measures 5 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches- bristles are in fine condition and with a few pinpoint dings here and there. Does not detract.
