It is unique because of the small size measuring 7" wide by 6 1/2" high and the picture opening is 5 1/4" by 3 3/4" It is made from solid wood. No veneer. Bottom is marked IDL, NY No. 3 did some research and IDL was medical supply company that did lots of various purpose glass containers in 20's and 30's. Jar is small and measurement pictured above, lid sits loosely on top and is a beautiful glass dome and acts like a magnifying glass to enlarge whats inside the jar. The box is characteristic of the cameo/ acid cut back designs produced in Lorraine by the Compagnie des Cristalleries de Saint Louis. The piece is unsigned but this form and technique is found on examples bearing the"Cristaux D'Art St Louis" diamond mark. The box has a striking Art Deco inspired design with a subtle textured surface to the cut back design. The deeply cut back areas are filled with colored enamels and refired. The box has a nice presence measuring 6 ½" in diameter and 3 ¾" high at the faceted/ cut clear finial. Both the base and lid are in excellent condition with no damage. Here are 4 metal unique handle pulls that were from a waterfall dresser. They are in original condition. I have done nothing to them. I am throwing in the metal round pull as it was on the dresser also. The 4 handles are approximately 6 1/4" long by 2 1/4" wide The screws on back are about 5" apart. Mirror and brush are marked sterling, followed by three marks that I cannot make out(the middle one is a shield) then a series of numbers: 8205/5. The comb has: Sterling, 3 marks, and 8211/5. These pieces polish up beautifully. I have left them as is for easier photographing. I have used them since the 1970s when they came into my family. My mother bought them in an antiques shop in Washington. DC, around 1975. Details: Mirror: 14.5 by 4.75 inches Weight: 11.6 ounces-Beveled mirror is clear. But has a tiny jagged edge at about"2 o'clock. The glass is smooth, so it must be the inside coating. Brush: 11 by 3 inches Weight: 6.8 ounces-Bristles all intact. Remarkable clean. Two gentle dimples to the left of the"S. Only visible at some angles. Comb: 7.75 ... moreby 1 and 5/8ths inches Weight: 2 ounces-Excellent condition: all teeth intact. Not sure if it is tortoise shell or early plastic. But is a mottled brown and yellow color. Stamp is on the outer edge of the silver. NOTE: There are no big dents in the silver. They were really hard to photograph. And what looks like a crosswise dent in the first picture is just a trick of light. Please look at all the photos. Vintage GSA silver-plated 3-piece Art Deco Dresser Set
I am listing this item as used because it has been examined out of the box. This three-piece Silver-plated Art Deco Dresser Set is unused and is made by GSA(Godinger Silver Art Co. NY. Style No. 220. There are no markings on the pieces. This set is very heavy weight. The brush measures 8 inches, the comb is 7.25 inches and the mirror is 9.5 inches long. The box is a bit shop-worn but is still tight.

Up for auction is an Art Deco 11 Piece Traveling Rose Pyralin Dresser Set by DuPont. The set consists of hand mirror. Hairbrush, comb, shoe horn, nail file, cuticle scissors, cuticle pusher, nail buffer, mirror tray(on lid) accessory jar with lid and buttonhook. These items are nestled within green and pink satin material. Some pieces were used and some were not. These items are ALL in VERY nice condition. I have tried to show the pieces in detail. The box looks like it was covered in a silver foil. As seen in the pictures, the foil is just about gone on the top. It is still on the sides. The box measures approx 24.5 x 12 x 4. A nice little dresser box in deep Marigold with a ball knob handle measures just over 5 inches diameter. This was made by Standard Glass Co. in the early 1920's and they called it"Etched Deco" It has wheel engraved lines and cattails on the lid. Very good iridescence through out and no damages. A few of the pieces are missing. But those that are present are in very good condition and have a very nice art deco design on the tops. The color of the pieces is butterscotch. The hand mirror is in very good condition with no clouding on the mirror. Also, there is a shoe horn, an oval-shaped box, a long box with rounded ends, and a long slender box that probably is for manicuring, and the bottom half of a round box. The leather bound case is in very good condition on the outside, but the handle has broken loose and can be found inside the box. It has a lock, but there is no key. Dresser was acquired from its original owner whom bought the pieces in Harrisburg in the late 40s and got the glass custom made in the 50s. Long Dresser& Mirror: 6 Drawer 34" tall x 56" wide x 21" deep- Bottom right drawer has chipped edges- Few other bumps and nicks Mirror measures 33" tall x 46.5" wide and is beveled. Great design. Solid hard wood with 40s Art Deco drawer pulls. Great set however not pristine. There are bumps on edges of pieces. Few surface scratches due to the glass top. Description: This is a beautiful hand caved alabaster powder jar or trinket dish. The jar has a pink beige hue to it and the lid appears to be slightly darker in color with a pink rose on top. It has a gold metal inter rim that is still very shiny but does have light scratches at contact points from use. When tilted under good light you can read the sticker on bottom.
