Antique mirror measures 10 inches in diameter and is marked as follows: 570 70. Made in S. America. Superiour Silver. And a makers mark which is unreadable. Cardboard backing has never been removed and the mirror is missing some silvered areas and also has a scratch on the mirror. Other side does not have a hole. Rare Antique Wave Crest Blown Out Pansy Dresser Vanity Trinket Box C F Monroe
This auction is for a fabulous dresser box trademarked Wave Crest. It is produced by the company C F Monroe Co. I am not sure of the actual age of the box but I was thinking it could be over 100 years old. It is very rare box. It has the blown out pansy design on the top. The colors are pastel pink. Blue and lavendar amethst on the lid and the box is a pale soft mable looking green. It is one of the prettiest old dresser boxes I have every seen. This box belonged to my great grandmother and grandmother. Growing up I loved looking at it on my grandmother's dresser. She let me put my little earrings in it when I stayed with her. The trim metal is a gold color. It may be gold plated but I am just not sure. The clasp on the front and the hinge on the back are in tact. It has no cracks or breaks. The mark on the bottom of this lovely nippon jar was used by Noritake(Morimura Bros. between 1911 and 1921. It stands just shy of 3” tall and is in very good condition for its age. There is some relatively minor wear to the gold trim and motif along with some age related base wear from surface contact. Although I did not notice any as I was inspecting the piece. Given the age there is a chance of scattered light wear in other areas. I also found no chips, cracks or breaks. Pictures are of the actual item(s) for sale. 2" Matching Antique Danish Jewelry/ Trinket Dresser Vanity Boxes Up for sale are 2 Antique Boxes that have been in my family for some time. These were from my Grandmother who was born in 190 1 but it is unknown how long she has had them and or when she acquired them. The age of these boxes are also unknown but seem to be the style of the turn of the century. They are stamped made in Denmark. I was told that there was an appraisal done several years ago but I have no specifics. These boxes are in great shape for there ag e and both boxes compliment each other. The one with the red velvet is the larger o f the two. The hinges are good on both. Great patina and detail on both as well. The measurements are 7"x 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" for the larger one and 5 1/2" x 4" x 1 7/8" for the smaller one. Artwork and P atina ... moreon both are the same. There is no break on inside or outside of surface-something caused during manufacture. 5 1/4" tall-3 3/4" diameter. Metal lid has a pretty art nuveau design-but is in rough shape-cracked at rim/large dent on one side/green oxidation on top center. I doubt it is original to the jar-but fits snug.

This is a beautiful set of what I believe is Victorian era powder or dresser jars. There are varied designs cut into the glass. This gives wonderful light reflection. The lids I think are pewter and show their age. One jar has a 1/4 inch chip above the round base. Pictured in photo's#9& 10. It does not detract from the jar due to the location. The bulbous area of the jar conceals this and the various patterns catch the eye. The jars stand about 3 3/4" with the lids. The top opening is 2 1/2" across and the circular base is just over 2 1/4" across. The jars weigh just over 1 pound each. Offering for sale a Rare Antique RODEN BROS/ Birks STERLING SILVER Vanity Dresser Mirror Brush 5 pc Set This nicely detailed set dates to the engraved date of 1937 when the monogranned T&W( a family member) were married. Beautifully Engraved in a Floral Pattern with a Sterling Silver hallmark on each piece: Sterling 925 R(lion) They were carefully made in Toronto. Ontario Canada by Roden Bros Ltd. Then Birks later acquired this firm in the 1950's. The hand mirror measures approx. 12-1/2" long; the hair brush is 10" long; the other brush is 7" long; the comb is 8" long and clippers are 4.5" long. These are used. But in good condition. There is some light typical wear, as to be expected with a 75 year old dresser set. this is a very rare antique early 1800's hand made and carved wooden dresser/ vanity box made in France by Fonferrier-Gratius*Meubles-Brest. it is a large box for this style box and beautiful ornate detailing throughout. there are art deco like styled stars running around the box and have a great negative space which reveals the red lining. and also has a large"star" on the top. the piece is footed with stunning ball-feet. it is also hand engraved with wonderful floral detailing throughout with deeply cut trim work. the lid opens on the top and opens and closes on brass hinges in the back. the lining is a great red linen. In pretty good shape especially for age, does have some ware. the box has a nice patina from age and in great shape for age. Pleased to offer: antique 1880s Scent Casket 3 glass perfume bottle fitted box vanity dresser This scent casket measures about 5-1/4 inches tall. 6-1/2 inches long, and 3 inches deep. The latch is marked, Patent Aug 13, 1878. Contains three glass bottles that have a matching etched pattern. This perfume box has seen better days. The leather covering is pealing up in places and is missing around the top. One rear leg is missing the ball foot, the beveled glass window has a chip, and each of the three bottles have chips too(1st- large chip on rim and looks like other chip ground/polished out. 2nd- chips on the points of the shoulder. 3rd- small chip on the shoulder. It could still find a good home in someone's collection.

for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

What a rare find this is! A 10 piece sterling dresser. Vanity set in the original box. Each piece is marked sterling and has the makers mark. The hallmark is for Webster Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts from the turn of the century. This information was taken from the Encyclopedia of Silver Manufacturers.Revised Fourth Edition.page 363. The set includes a brush, comb, shoe horn, nail file, scissors, buffer, 2 jars, cuticle tool and button hook. Each piece is also hand hammered. This box is original.the company hallmark is in the corner of the lid(see photo) There is what appears to be a water stain on the bottom right corner.it shouldn't be too hard to clean. The box is very sound structurally.strong and secure. The lining inside is not torn and also in very good condition. I've left the patina as is. Many people prefer it ... morethat way and it only adds to its authenticity. Most of the pieces have a monogram of FMC on them but it looks more like a design than a monogram unless you look at it very closely. The fact that it has this design or monogram is a good thing.that way, you know for sure that this set is not a marriage of pieces. THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN IRWIN. PA 15642 ONLY. NO SHIPPING. Antique vanity/ dresser/ dressing table with mirror. The finish is a dark brown. As shown in the pictures. The facing is missing in a couple places. The mirror has two side mirrors that fold in and out. It has 5 drawers; each drawer has a lock mechanism that looks like it accepts the old style skeleton keys, but I don't have a key for it. The size is about 20 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 59 inches high. Although I can't tell what they mean, there are several markings on it. Stamped into the wood on the back are the numbers 4474 and 57. 4474 seems like it was important to the manufacturer, because it is in 3 separate places. The mirror is very delicately attached to the dresser. I took the wooden back panel off the mirror to see how it was attached and figure out ... morehow to make it more sturdy, and discovered that the back of the mirror is stenciled with the date June 13, 1916 and an"N" and a"P" which may be the mirror manufacturer's logo. On the inside of the wooden back panel are the words"4474 Mahogany" hand written in cursive pencil. The number"48-88" is stenciled inside the back panel also. 4474 Mahogany Toilet" is also hand written in pencil inside one of the left hand drawers, along with what looks to be the"48-88" again. I looked online but couldn't find information on what these numbers mean or where the vanity came from(or how much it's really worth) I also don't know if"Mahogany" is meant to be the color of the finish, or the type of wood it's made of. The mirror doesn't come off for transportation. It is attached only with 4 screws through the wood mirror frame into the desk part. Which is why the center mirror rocks back and forth a little when the vanity is moved. It could be braced more securely but I don't want to put more screws into it, the new owner can do that. Antique Claw Foot Quarter Cut Oak Dresser Vanity Sink orig fin. Swan Harp Rare
Up for consideration is a fine Swan Harped Quarter Cut Tiger Oak dresser. The dresser measures 75 1/4 inches high by 24 1/2 inches deep by 48 inches wide. The piece has all it's original hardware with brass bail handles. Likewise the original beveled mirror. It is interesting to note that the dresser has an ultra clean back and interior of the drawers. The drawers have old newspaper for 1937. They are ultra clean with light signs of wear. The quartered oak graining can be see in the pictures. It doesn't really show in the pictures but this piece is rather chunky with large pawed feet with old wooden wheels. This is an antique sterling silver(marked and hallmarked) and glass. Small vanity or dresser jar. The top is repouss é sterling silver in an ornate design and fits securely on the glass jar. The top has hallmarks indicating it was made in Birmingham in 1826(see 5th photo) Inside the lid. It is marked"D165. The jar has 10 straight sides. The jar is 1 7/8 inches in diameter and 1 5/8 inches high. This auction is for 4 STERLING Silver Art Nouveau matching Dresser Bottles with lids decorated with Roses The 4 bottles include one Tall powder jar with a brass holed cover which measures approximately 4 3/4 inches allowing for the raised roses on the top of the lid. Another slightly shorter jar and 2 matching smaller jars. The sterling silver lids. Which are gilded on the inside. Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser Up for your consideration: A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. Antique 1800's pair Forget-me-not porcelain perfume scent vanity dresser bottles
This auction is for a absolutely sweet pair of antique dresser perfume scent bottles. Although unsigned; these were probably made in Paris. France in the 1800's. They measure 2 1/2" tall including the stopper x 2" x 2" Without the stopper. They measure 1 7/8" tall. Basically a square cushion shape. They are decorated with tiny blue Forget-Me-Nots with sprays of delicate leaves in gold leaf; the edges are also accented in gold leaf. These pieces are not cracked and have not been re-glued. Issues: Overall in very pleasing condition; there is some wear on the gold leaf. In addition; the porcelain is discolored due to wear on the un-glazed areas(bottom. Inside neck and stopper base) There is one tiny flake on the upper lip(in the gold leaf) of one of the bases; and a small flake off the bottom of one stopper. The most ... morenotable damage is that both stoppers each have a notable chip in one corner(see last photo) These are very pleasing pieces and unusual to find a pair.
