ONE(1) Vintage Sterling Silver Vanity/Dresser Set Powder Jar. Hallmarked(see photo) on the lid. No apparent makers mark. Most likely American made. Gorgeous art nouveau repousse design of floral designs. It measures approx. 2" in diameter overall x 1-3/4" tall. This item is used& in good condition. Typical light surface wear& does have tarnish on the silver. It could also use a polish& buff. A few small dings/dents, nothing serious as you can see in photos. Glass portion is excellent! Antique Engraved Brush and Comb Vanity Dresser Set Patented 1928
A 1920s(possibly men's) brush and comb set manufactured in different metals. Wood and tortoiseshell. Black lacquered brush with framed. Engraved initials on the top(CCM) not silver, or silver plate, but possibly a silver alloy. The accompanying comb is made of tortoiseshell or of a tortoiseshell-like plastic and a silver plated edge. Interestingly. The comb fits inside the brush, through a slot at the top. There is a patent for this design, and it's listed on the underside of the handle: PAT APRIL 17 1928' The bristles and wood base are in good condition considering the age of the brush. There are a few nicks in the black lacquer. Please see the photos. The brush metal is a bit dulled with age. The comb is in quite good condition(no teeth missing) there are some dark areas on the end of the shiny, silvered edge. Please inspect ... moreall the images for a good idea of condition. Here is a wonderful. Harder to find, grooming/vanity piece. This is an antique Victorian sterling silver curling iron with mother of pearl button press. To use this would have been heated over gas heat or a kerosene lamp and often ladies would singe themselves or burn their hair if it became too hot. So I would not recommend using it. This great piece is in good antique condition with normal wear- rusting to the stainless steel end and a slight crack in the mother of pearl. I have left most of the original patina. Late 1880's Dresser. Powder or vanity jar*Porcelain*Made in Germany*Articulated floral*Bulbous shape*Gilt filigree trim Offered here is the prettiest antique dresser jar. This is made of porcelain. Looks to be German or Austrian. It has a unique bulbous shape, round with scalloped sides that puff out, the lid has the same scalloped shape. The top edge of the jar has high relief flowers with articulated petals that swoop upward over the edge of the lid. The porcelain is a cream color with more yellowish tone on the out part of the lid, it is embellished with pink flower. The handle of the lid is a fan shaped flower petal with the lower petals cascading over the top. The jar has a blue band with a gilt filigree design below. Antique Celluloid Victorian Vanity Dresser Box Nice Condition Cameo Cherubs
Antique Victorian Celluloid Box. The box is in very good condition. The box is completely covered with a pale green celluloid. It is then embellished with ivory colored celluloid trim that is scalloped all the way around the box. A lovely cameo style design is on the center top with two cherubs. The hardware in good working order. However the hasp is missing on the closure. Overall the celluloid is in very good condition given the age of the box. It does show slight wear that shows in the photos, so please study them carefully. The celluloid on the top of the box is slightly warped, but you really have to look to notice it. I took a photo that really shows it. The inside of the box appears to have been relined. I have not altered the box in anyway. I am selling it in as found condition. 2 Vintage antique celluloid dresser vanity bowls Palmer's trademark French Ivory
2 vintage dresser bowls. The one on the bottom of the picture says Palmer's Trade Mark on the bottom. Has 2 splits near the bottom. The other one says nothing on the bottom and the lid has a dark spot on the center and a sticky spot which will probably come off but I didn't know what to clean it with. Please ask questions because I don't know anything about judging condition. The lids fit on the boxes but the colors don't match, maybe faded from sunlight. I have other dresser things on ebay now.

Antique, Charming Vanity Dresser Change Dish, Father of Bride with Empty Pockets
This is a very fun little dish we found while going through hand-me-downs from past generations. I'm not exactly sure what to call it. So if anyone knows a more concise term please let me know! This seems to be a change dish/ vanity dish/ dresser or cabinet sorting dish. I'm not an Ebay professional and only use a camera phone to take pictures, and the pictures honestly do not do this piece justice! It is 6-1/4" long, 3" wide, and sits 3/4" high. The image is of a man holding out the empty pockets from his tuxedo/dress pants. The majority opinion of family members who have seen this is the guy either lost his money gambling, cavorting, or paying for his daughter's wedding as the father of the bride(FOTB) It seems to be made of porcelain and the shape is most similar to a row boat. Antique Nippon Japan Hand Painted Porcelain Dresser Vanity Set Very Pretty
This is a vintage Nippon vanity/ dresser set. It is hand painted and marked Nippon on the bottom of all of the pieces. This is a used item and will show some normal wear from use and age. For example. The gilt is rubbing off in some areas, scuffing on the bottom of the pieces. I see no chips, cracks or breaks on three of the items. The hair receiver, which I believe is the bowl with the lid with the hole on top. That item's lid with the hole has two hairline cracks in it. The item has not broken and it has not been repaired. When I saw it, it was so beautiful. I couldn't pass it up because of that one issue. I could have listed it without that item but I thought I would offer the entire set and let you decide what to do with that piece. All are painted with beautiful pink roses and green foliage and trimmed in rich gold gilding. The tray measures 11 1/4" x 8 1/4" and the covered footed boxes measure 3" and 4" in diameter and 2 1/2" and 3" tall. Original old beautiful ornate antique carved oak bedroom set which dates to the period 1880-1900. This set is from an old Michigan farmhouse that was closed up for more than 20 years. Up for sale is a Very Very Beautiful Antique Cherry Dresser. This dresser has amazing detail and craftsmanship. The handles for the drawers are hand carved and have amazing detail. The drawers all move freely. I am not sure if this dresser has been repaired but does not appear to have been. My Grandmother told me this is from her Grandmother who lived in Davenport Iowa. I am not sure of the exact age of this dresser but I do know that it is an antique. The dresser measures 37 1/2 inches long and 17 inches wide X 63 1/2 inches tall. This vintage vanity powder jar is very old. It has been around for more than 60 years. It is in good condition for it's age and has no cracks chips or breaks. The third picture shows the container upside down to see the legs. The top has some spots on it as you can see in the picture. It is just from age and only gives it character. It is 3 1/2 inches across and is 2 inches high.

It also states a patented date of Jan. 8 1901, writing is a bit blurred, this is my read on it) Jar is approx. 5" tall and 5" wide, small nick on the inside cover edge(unseen when closed) Tray is 11"x8" has minor gold loss on the outside edge, no chips, cracks, etc, marking on back has faded and is unreadable on the tray. Comb I believe is Lucite, color loss on handle and is missing a pearl, is marked Depose France as pictured.

Lovely antique 3 piece vanity set by Victor Silver Company. There is a clothes brush. Hair brush and hand held mirror. All beautifully decorated with cherubs. The CLOTHES BRUSH has no handles and measures 7" long and 2 1/5 inches wide. Shows a cherub on each side. One shooting arrows and one playing horns. Bristles are in very good condition. The HANDLED HAIRBRUSH is 9 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. It shows a cherub with a tambourine. The bristles are in very good condition. The HANDLED MIRROR or hand held mirror is 10 1/4 long and 5 1/2 inches wide. It is stamped on the side with Victor Silver Co and the dates mentioned below. Mirrow in very good condition. Handle of mirror is stamped"Victor Silver Co. Pat May 16. 1905 and Pat July 26. 1904. I do not see any other markings. I can not find any markings that say.925 or sterling, ... morenor can I find anything that says silver-plate. I did not have much luck trying to search the Victor Silver Company. I chose not to polish these pieces since some people prefer the aged patina. I do not see any major flaws that detract from the pieces, but keep in mind that they are 110 years old and show some age. Please keep in mind while bidding that I do not know if these are sterling silver or silver plate. I am pricing them assuming they are silver plate. So bid accordingly.
