Early 1900's era Antique Drop Center Vanity With Mirror ..Dresser.
Piece by Joerns Bros. Furniture Co. out of Stevens Pt. Wisconsin. In business since 1898. High end bedroom furniture manufacturer. Mirrors are removable from the vanity by sliding the mirrors up out of the horizontal cross brace that can be seen in the rear photo. Tri-fold mirrors. Small age spot on the top of the center mirror. In the photos the piece has not been cleaned, will look even better after polishing. ALL ORIGINAL. Stool is not available. Nor are the original rolling casters. Small amount of age wear but piece is in fantastic shape. Vanity measures 46" across and 30" high. 67" from floor to top of center mirror. Top drawers 4"+ deep. Lower drawers approx. 12" deep. All in excellent working condition. Piece is located in Bowling Green. Missouri, approx. 30 miles south of Hannibal. Antique Gorham Sterling Sliver Vanity/ Dresser Set This beautiful Gorham sterling silver vanity set includes: mirror. Brush and comb; all with lovely scrolled decoration. Each is marked“Gorham Sterling 27” The brush and mirror are monogrammed and in overall nice vintage condition save for a small dent in the bottom of the mirror handle and a bit of wear to the surface where one small spot has worn through, the glass is intact with a little dark mark on the glass that old mirrors sometimes get over time(see pic. The comb may be a replacement but the silver casement is genuine Gorham Sterling Silver. The bush seems to have all of its bristles intact in the wooden paddle. This set has been previously used and well loved but continues to be of immense quality years after it was created. I invite you to consider this Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser and helping my family become more debt free at the same time! A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely ... moreBeveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed in a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. I am not sure however if the dresser’s knobs are original or not. The Dresser features the rare and beautiful Tiger Oak Construction. Quarter Sawn) The drawers are all in pretty fine condition. One drawer seems to want to go in further than it should but could be easily remedied. There is also a chip in the front edge of one of the left drawers. The Dovetail construction does a fine job illustrating the dresser’s age as they appear to be have been handmade. Please examine photos carefully. this is a very rare antique victorian ornate red collar and cuff link vanity box. it is wrapped with some sort of red pressed hard leather and has a wonderfully ornate design. the face has two ornate brass clasps and has nice raised lettering saying"CUFFS" with a nice gold gilt. and"COLLARS" at the top with two floating cherubs above. the box has two compartment lined with pink linen lining that open in an innovative way. the top compartment has a round spot in the middle with a glass corked jar. the collars would wrap around the circular recessed jar holder. the top part of the box opens as well and exposes the bottom compartment which could be used for other vanity items. the box is in pretty good shape for age. some lining is worn inside and some small chips on the outer edges. refer to pics. it Thank you for visiting"Dusty ... moreTreasures" and please feel free to browse through my online ebay store where you can find several more wonderful items similar to this. May show a little wear from usage. Storage and age. The mirror is a little scuffed around the edges from the back side so I'm not sure how this actually happened. No chips or cracks. Needs a good cleaning. I tried to take several pictures to show quality and condition. Measures approx. 17 1/2" tall X 17 3/4" across X 5" wide. I am not sure of the wood but it is a very deep dark brown. The mirror has been replaced my me as I wanted to use this on my own antique dresser. The frame of the mirror. And stand are in very good estate condition. See images. I bought this from a dealer in the St Petersburg area of Florida. Their expert there told me this was from the late 1880s. I am sure he told me the wood but I have forgotten it now. He did mention the provenance was from the New England area. This measures- approx. 18" high x 15" long x 6-1/4" deep. Weight- approx. 4-1/2 lbs. It has round feet and the mirror frame is removable. There is some cracks and small chips and dings from age and use. This is an Antique Hard Wood& Paneling. Dresser with Tabletop Vanity Mirror that Swivels, 70 inches tall. Made in USA. Has 6 dovetail drawers without the key to the locks. Top drawers have original porcelain knobs. The other drawer pulls are newer reproductions. Some of the dovetail corners were glued and set with masking tape(old repair holding fine) Mirror frame has a small crack in the back that doesn't show from the front. Should be an easy repair. Siverback mirror was very blotchy and replaced with a new mirror. Dresser sides are constructed with wood panels and have some general wear. Finish is still smooth. Wheels are original wood caster and working. Back was left untouched with remnants of the original white wash paint. Estimate age is 1920's- 30's. ANTIQUE VANITY DRESSER OVAL MIRROR FOOTED ORNATE BRASS FLORAL & SCROLL DESIGN
Up for your consideration is this beautiful vintage vanity/dresser mirror. The ornate mirror is quite large and measures 10-3/4" wide by 18" tall. The frame is brass and has a lovely floral& scroll repousse design with a shell shape sdesign on the top. The mirror is made to stand on a dresser or stand and has two brass feet. The mirror is in good shape with no cracks or chips. The frame could use a good cleaning and the top piece is slightly bent and has broke away on one side but still displays nicely. Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. Handle measures 6 1/2" x 1 7/8" gently tapered/rounded edges; bristles are intact and measure 1" Very similar in size and style to a PARIS FRANCE DUPONT IVORY brush I have listed separately. Beveled, bakelite, top, with green/tan faux/tortoise shell motif near center, with dark brown& beige color on either side, teensy bit of splitting; translucent, colorful in the light; has an Art Deco/Nouveau pattern all around(zoom) with use marks which may buff/polish nicely. Soft bristles are intact, and notice the little bit of green to match the top. Handle measures 6 3/4" x 2" bristles measure 1 1/4" Collect, use, display, or GIFT. Antique Victorian Era RALEIGH Pink & White Porcelain Vanity Dresser Powder Box
HI& WELCOME- ALL PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU ARE CONSIDERING This is a lovely deep pink& white porcelain powder box made during the Victorian era late 1800's/early 1900's- signed on bottom"Raleigh" in red. It measures 5 1/2" wide at the widest point& 4 1/4" tall with lid on. The pink tinted porcelain is a gorgeous deep shade. Very popular during the Victorian era. It has a fancy handle on top of lid with gold highlights- fancy scalloped edge along the footed bottom. Embossed design work on lid& base make it really appealing. This would be a wonderful piece for any dressing table to hold pieces of jewelry or to use as a powder box- so pretty! Perfect condition with no damages or repairs- properly cared for over the years- great even pink color with no scratches. The brass lid is pressed with an art nouveau lily floral decoration. CONDITION: The bottom edge of the top row of honeycomb pattern have a couple areas or roughness and small flakes/chips. The lid has a small light dent on one of the rounded outside edge and there are a few dark spots on the bottom edge of the lid. This Beautiful Vanity/Dresser set from Austria. A would make a wonderful gift for mothers day, birthday or anniversary. This would be a wonderful set to had to your collection or display. They have the typical Austrian floral pattern of delicate multiple rose bouquet in soft pink, white, yellow and darker rose color. The condition is excellent for their age with no chips, cracks or scratches. The gold is somewhat worn. Each piece is marked with M-Z Austria with the crest except for the smallest box. The dresser tray has 8209. and f96 on bottom an the measurements are 13" x 9 1/2" The big ruffled edge cover box is 4"x3"the small one is 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" The Candle Holders are 61/2" tall by 3 3/4" at base.
