It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! Large oval beveled mirror with top crest, glass top, serpentine front and the matching seat. The seat in it's self is quite unique in the high curved sides, legs with claw feet. The table is 43 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 62 inches high on back to tip of crest on the mirror, the seat is 16 inches deep, 29 inches wide, 18 1/2 inches to the floor, sides are 24 inches tall and the total condition of the piece is very good, has been well cared for, with just a very few minor veneer repairs. Fabulous large Antique Silver Table Mirror. 1898 by H.Matthews. The Mirror of large cartouche shape, the original bevelled mirror enclosed by scrolled frame pierced and embossed with rocaille foliage and surmounted by asymmetrical cartouche, light mauve velvet backing. Height: 14 ins. Condition: A few very small holes, the last photograph show the largest. The velvet back is original and as such shows some wear. There does not appear to be any silver sections missing…as so often with these mirrors. The mirror has a couple of pin point marks but otherwise is in very good shape and bevelled following the contours of the surround. These condition reports are mentioned for accuracy purposes only and the mirror should be considered as original and good.

Wonderful Art Nouveau Dressing table/ trinket jar. With silver plated decoration. By the most famous maker WMF. With the stamp of in a rhombus with a smooth round arch used between 1910-1918. In the most marvelous condition. I can't find a fault, maybe not quite as defined around the rim as when made and with some tarnish but due to age I think these can be excused. Maybe the odd minuscule nibble to the glass but I can't find it. The only thing is when empty and the stop hinge reaches the back it topples over, but that I believe is the same as when made. Measures 10 cm across and 7 cm tall.

Items for your consideration are an antique Art Nouveau vanity dressing table sterling silver brush and nail buffer. 6" long for the brush and 4.25" for the nail buffer. The buffer is F&B hallmarked and marked sterling. And numbered 400. I have included closeups of the markings on the brush, one side reads C1747 and the other side is marked sterling with three additional marks. The center mark is a shield with an anchor inside it. I cannot make out the hallmark on the left, but from what I can see it might be Gorham. Very good condition for age. Please see detailed pics. One large full width drawer over 3 smaller drawers. Mahogany wood veneer over pine. With oak secondary wood drawer construction. All drawers are dovetailed, with hand chamfered bottoms. 4 cabriole legs. Ending in Queen Anne pad feet. Legs are applied to the case, with all original corner returns. 2 of the corner returns on the back of the case are missing. Case is dovetailed in the back. Case is pine with mahogany veneer. There is 2 very old lead nails in the front stiles, they quite puzzle us. Appears to retain the original numbered brasses. The Thumb moulded top in our opinion is a replacement.

1940's era dressing table or vanity, What little I know about this(age and type) I learned from the owner of a consignment shop that specializes in antique furniture. Drawers are dovetailed and fronts appear to be a laminate. The three panel mirrors are in good shape aside from chipping as shown in picture#5. Has various nicks and scratches and the finial at the top is cracked and has apparently come off and be reattached with a single screw. The lids have sterling silver pull handles and embellishments with vacant cartouches surrounded by decorative engravings, they are hallmarked 1922, maker John Satchwell and Company Ltd who were situated in Station Street, Birmingham. The tray measures 15.5 inches wide, 9.25 inches deep and has'EBONY' stamped to the base along with the Satchwell stamp and a unique trace number. Satchwell are my favourite makers and produced the highest quality ebony vanity items of the period. This extremely slow growing hardwood was imported from British India and was a popular vanity set material with both men and women from around the turn ... moreof the century to the mid 1920s. When the timber became too rare and expensive to be economically viable. These ebony relics of the period have been highly prized ever since. CONDITION: The silver is generally in excellent condition with only light wear. One of the pull knobs has some dings and the hallmarks are rubbed. There are no scratches or missing fixing pins. There are some knocks to the ebony on the inside rim of one of the lids. Otherwise the tray is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or stains, it has a very highly polished patina. Antique hallmarked Silver-lidded Cut Glass Dressing Table / Trinket Box – 1906
Antique hallmarked Silver lidded Cut Glass Box This beautiful box has a sterling silver lid which is exquisitely decorated with flora and foliage in relief around a vacant oval cartouche. And decorative edges. The crystal body is torpedo-shaped and cut with the Hobnail pattern to the upper section with Ladder pattern to the lower and a Star-Cut base. The lid is hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 with the maker’s mark of Ridley Brothers& Merton. The lid is in good condition but. After 109 years, there are a few things to draw your attention to. The cartouche has a 1cm long bruise to it and four other small bruises which are noticeable. Also, at the peak of the decoration, there are three tiny holes which normally result from polishing over the years. The edges may be slightly downturned in places but it’s not highly noticeable. The glass has ... moreno chips or cracks but there will be tiny nibbles along edges here and there that are barely noticeable.
