This gorgeous Antique 3 Drawer Chest/Dresser is made of Birdseye Maple. With an attached beveled glass mirror and 3 drawers with brass keyholes that do lock, needs a key-will be looking for one but many antique shops have a selection of antique keys) There are removable wheels on the legs. This measures approximately 40 in. W. x 20 in. deep x 27-3/4 in. H to the top of the dresser with the wheels in and 26-1/2 in. H. with the wheels removed. From the Floor to the top of the Mirror when it is attached to the Dresser it is 68 in. H. This is a beautiful old antique and would be lovely for a young girls room. This is pick up only. These pieces are part of a whole bedroom set but being offered also as individual pieces. Made of walnut burl wood which was the most decorative veneer used in the period and much sought after and considered a"prized possession" It also features a masterful intricate marquetry design. Additionally it shows carved details. Overall largest measurements are approximately: Dresser: 61" wide x 20" deep x 36" high- the center part is 28" wide x 30-1/2" high. Here is an antique East Lake-style walnut top dresser with tilting mirror and 3 drawers from the late 1800s. Dark refinished walnut solid wood. Mirror has beveled edges. Drawer sides are dovetailed to faces and backs. Six drawer pulls all the same. Locks for each drawer but no key. Cabinet measures 42 inches long. 19 inches deep and 30-1/2 inches tall. Mirror adds 46 inches for overall height of 76-1/2 inches. Total weight of cabinet and mirror is 120 lbs. Mirror is removable from dresser. Condition: Dresser is in very good condition. Wood joints are tight. There is no damage except for a small wood repair about ½ inch diameter that is very dark in the mirror frame top left. for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed. Offering for sale a Rare Antique RODEN BROS/ Birks STERLING SILVER Vanity Dresser Mirror Brush 5 pc Set This nicely detailed set dates to the engraved date of 1937 when the monogranned T&W( a family member) were married. Beautifully Engraved in a Floral Pattern with a Sterling Silver hallmark on each piece: Sterling 925 R(lion) They were carefully made in Toronto. Ontario Canada by Roden Bros Ltd. Then Birks later acquired this firm in the 1950's. The hand mirror measures approx. 12-1/2" long; the hair brush is 10" long; the other brush is 7" long; the comb is 8" long and clippers are 4.5" long. These are used. But in good condition. There is some light typical wear, as to be expected with a 75 year old dresser set. This clock is Waltham. With walnut case. The oval face is glass. Clock measures 14 x 12" It is wind-up and it does run. 1888 is marked on the bottom and I believe that is the year made. Also 1238. Which is probably model number. As to condition. There is a piece of wood about 1" long missing to the left top of face. At the very bottom, there is a bit of scuffing. It has the original finish, which I believe is flame burled walnut, with a beautiful wood grain and patina. The end pieces on the base and the mirror supports are carved. The drawers have dovetail joints. Keyholes and the original glass pulls(keys are not included) I purchased this dresser in Atlanta 25 years ago. I was told it was a Civil War era piece dating to the 1860s. Although I have no way of verifying that. The drawers are very large and roomy. This is typical of pieces made at that time. As clothes were stored flat in drawers. This is a large. Solid piece measuring 54 in wide x 26 in deep x 35 in high. The mirror with frame measures approx. 46 in across x ... more37 in high. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but it is old and does have some imperfections. The top surface is very blotchy from what were probably water stains. Beautiful late 1800s British Victorian mahogany dresser top vanity mirror. Made of mahogany veneers. Solid mahogany and pine secondary woods. The piece has two pull-out drawers and a center storage area with lid. Overall measurement is 25 1/4" wide x 31 1/2" tall x 12 3/4" deep. Finish is in very good condition. Brought back from England in the early 1970s. Weight is 23 lbs. MIRROR: Swivels on two brass hinges which can be opened to remove mirror. Mirror can be accessed by removing wood panel on back. Which is held in place by simple brass turn latches. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. Antique 1916 Mahogany Dresser / Dressing Table / Vanity with Mirror
THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN IRWIN. PA 15642 ONLY. NO SHIPPING. Antique vanity/ dresser/ dressing table with mirror. The finish is a dark brown. As shown in the pictures. The facing is missing in a couple places. The mirror has two side mirrors that fold in and out. It has 5 drawers; each drawer has a lock mechanism that looks like it accepts the old style skeleton keys, but I don't have a key for it. The size is about 20 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 59 inches high. Although I can't tell what they mean, there are several markings on it. Stamped into the wood on the back are the numbers 4474 and 57. 4474 seems like it was important to the manufacturer, because it is in 3 separate places. The mirror is very delicately attached to the dresser. I took the wooden back panel off the mirror to see how it was attached and figure out ... morehow to make it more sturdy, and discovered that the back of the mirror is stenciled with the date June 13, 1916 and an"N" and a"P" which may be the mirror manufacturer's logo. On the inside of the wooden back panel are the words"4474 Mahogany" hand written in cursive pencil. The number"48-88" is stenciled inside the back panel also. 4474 Mahogany Toilet" is also hand written in pencil inside one of the left hand drawers, along with what looks to be the"48-88" again. I looked online but couldn't find information on what these numbers mean or where the vanity came from(or how much it's really worth) I also don't know if"Mahogany" is meant to be the color of the finish, or the type of wood it's made of. The mirror doesn't come off for transportation. It is attached only with 4 screws through the wood mirror frame into the desk part. Which is why the center mirror rocks back and forth a little when the vanity is moved. It could be braced more securely but I don't want to put more screws into it, the new owner can do that. It was pulled from my great-grandparents' house in North Carolina many decades ago and kept at my grandmother's. The bar underneath the mirror indicates that it was used to hold a towel. This dresser might have been useful for holding a water pitcher and bowl before most folks even had running water in their homes. Wheels were added to the bottom for ease of use. This special piece is still quite functional. The mirror is really neat- it swings easily fowards and backwards via hinges. One can tell the glass in the mirror is really old. Antique Dark Mahogany Dresser with Mirror This is a gorgeous antique 6 drawer dresser with vanity in a rich dark mahogany finish. It is in excellent condition with all original hardware and rollers at bottom legs. Easy to move around. It was also refinished about 8 years ago, so overall it is a real stunning piece of furniture. The detailing on this dresser is just beautifully filled with very intricate Victorian designs. There are two small drawers on the top portion of the dresser right below the mirror. There are also 2 middle size drawers just perfect for your personal items and two larger bottom drawers. The mirror on this dresser is designed with a beveled cut and is just exquisite. Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser Up for your consideration: A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. I am not sure however if the dresser’s knobs are original or not. The Dresser features the rare and beautiful Tiger Oak Construction. Quarter Sawn) The drawers are all in pretty fine condition. One drawer seems to want to go in further than it should but could be easily remedied. There is also a chip in the front edge of one of the left drawers. 1880's Antique Child's/Doll Salesman Sample Dresser W/Framed Mirror.Excellent!
This is a miniature or salesman sample of a dresser that is probably from the 1880's. It is well made from oak. It measures 16" tall. 10" wide and 6" deep. It has 3 drawers that have dovetail construction.There is a swivel mirror 5.5"x 6" in a fluted frame. The top of the frame has wooden dowels in the corners. It is in perfect condition with no marks. Chips or problems that I can see. One drawer inside has a crack but no separation. On the bottom drawer is a sticker with copperplate writing that says'Doll's bureau. Belonged& used by the four Lundberg girls. Now on 9/13/75 probably about 88 years old. Given to Peggy for her birthday 9/30/75" Perfect for dolls or bears. Doll not included. This antique. Circa-1900, Art Nouveau Bronze Mirror with gilded accents is unsigned. But equal to anything Bradley& Hubbard ever made.
