Stunning antique heavy silver plate mirrored tray has a thick wooden base and measures 16 1/8" long. 10 1/8" wide, and 2" high. Back is marked A ccxviii and I couldn't find any hallmarks on the silver part. In excellent condition. Claw feet are in excellent condition and mirror surface shows only minor light surface scratches. Displays beautifully. Weighs almost 7 1/2 pounds. This antique mirror is an absolutely beautiful piece. This mirror has set upon our grandmother's dresser for several decades. She kept it well cared for as it belonged to her mother before her. This mirror is made of celluloid or bakelite(I'm unsure of the material) And is very ornate on the back side. It almost appears to be a Mother of Pearl in appearance, with an ornate etching in black. This old mirror measures 13" long from tip to tip, 5" across the widest portion of the mirror, and is approximately 3/8" in thickness. The handle itself measures 6-1/2" There are no chips, cracks, chips, or gouges in the mirror. The mirror is clear and clean with an extremely small and fine line of discoloration on the lower left side(see photos) which is barely detectible. Antique Arts&Crafts Style Pine( with dark finish) Dresser Harp and Mirror Frame(no glass) I believe it originally was on a highboy style dresser which is a tall narrower width wise with 5 or 6 drawers rather than a 3 or 4 drawer lower dresser. The width of this harp and mirror is about 32 1\2 inches wide which would more than likely be too short for a lower type dresser because they are usually high 30's to 40's inches wide. The measurements are the total height to the top of the mirror from the bottom is about 23" and the height of the post(harp sides) would be 20 3\4" The outside measurements of the mirror itself is 22 1\2" wide and 20 1\2" tall and the glass itself would you get to put in the frame is 20 1\2 x 22 1\2 inches. The original mirror hinges are both there and the back wood supports are also there. ... moreJust to let you know this harp and mirror was made to sit on the back edge of the top thus the support strips which screw on to the very back of the dresser itself verses the type that sets in the space on back and actually screws into the top itself. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique mahogany dresser with matching mirror. The maker of this piece is unknown and we believe this dates to the late 1800's- early 1900's. The dresser stands approximately 36.5" high. The width is 21 5/8" and the length is 46" The mirror is made from solid mahogany and has a beautiful broken arch pediment at the top with an applied carved design in the center. It measures 35.5" high to the top of the pediment. The width is 24 7/8" across the ached top and th emain body is 23.75" wide. Made from solid mahogany the dresser has a classic Chippendale style design with applied carved moldings on the bracket feet and reeded columns on the front. The dresser has four drawers with a divider in the top drawer. The drawers are all dove tail jointed and also retain the original ... morebrass pulls. The dresser appears to have had an early refinish job done on it. There are age and use appropriate scratches and dings on the top and feet. As well as a small white spot on the top. Antique Vintage Doll's Bureau Dresser with Mirror or Salesman's Sample
Antique Doll's Bureau- Up for auction is an old doll's bureau or perhaps a salesman's sample. It has two drawers with wooden knobs and an above tilt mirror that needs to have a couple of more nails put in the sides for support on the back. Currently. Someone taped the back with duct tape, but this can easily be corrected. The drawers are ribbed and the bureau is painted with delicate flower detail on the front of the drawers. The paint is shabby style, but I did not repaint, preferring to leave that to you if you wish. The bureau measures 15" tall(including the mirror) 10.5" wide and 6.5" front to back. Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. This is a beautiful. Antique dresser chest and mirror. It dates from the early 20th century. It is lavishly carved from mahogany and richly painted and gilded. Features a sliding mirror mounted between two carved pillars. There is a panel composed of three sections right below the mirror. The top of the dresser is mahogany. Then two small and one large drawer leading down to a scrolled and gilded base. The drawers have pineapple brass pulls. The sides are as beautiful as the front with rich carving on the mirror supports and gilded rosettes. The drawers feature a hand-carved dovetail. The back of the mirror has had a piece of masonite added at some later point(the nails used don't match the earlier nails used in construction of the chest) The colors are rich and vibrant. This charming dresser is in good condition and has the original finish of a medium/dark red/brown mahogany stain color. The dresser has dove-tailed drawers that are made of solid wood on the inside and has the original brass antique handles. This dresser has some minor imperfections due to its age and use.The measurements are: 47” length. 33” height and 21’ depth. The mah ogany fra med mirror is 30" wide by 45" height. The item was acquired from an estate and it is in good clean condition. The outside measurements of the frame are 18 3/4" wide and 23" high and the highest point of the curve. It would accommodate a mirror that was 16" wide and 24 1/2" high at the highest point of the curve. Two very small pieces of the surface wood are broken off on the lower right side of the frame and there are a couple of pieces of surface wood missing on the back side of the frame. N O RESERVE! Antique Trifold Dresser Mirror, Waterfall, Zebrawood, Amber Glass, Victorian
Antique dresser mirror. Early 1900's likely, has three mirrors non moveable and 2 slim amber glass mirrors in between with floral design. Carving along tops is all in great shape with very little wear for it's age. No breaks or noticeable chips. Lower base area has what looks like zebrawood and maybe maple which looks well with a waterfall dresser. I have a tall waterfall chest but it's too narrow for this. Mirrors are unchipped and in excellent shape. Some silver fading towards some of the edges from age. Amber accents really set it off. Has solid base woods with backing and stable posts to mount to back of dresser. Very sturdy piece altogether. Finish is very good and really just needs a good cleaning and polish. ANTIQUE VANITY SET BAKELITE DRESSER HAND MIRROR VINTAGE LOOKING GLASS
This is a very old vanity or dresser set in great condition. The items appear to be bakelite but I am going by what I was told when I purchased the lot at an estate sale. The pictures show the pieces to have a design or it might be stains that bleed throughout the backs with metal tear drops in the center. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. I only used water to clean these because I did not want to jeapordize damaging the set with any chemicals. The measurements are as follows. Mirror: 10 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide. Brush: 8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. File: 6 3/4 inches long X 1 inch wide. Container or Storage Box: 7 inches long X 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep.
