Beautiful Bombe Commode Chest with Green Italian Marble Top Louis XV French Antique Bombe Style Chest This was abosolutely the most beautful piece of furniture I have ever had. My husband inherited it from a client approximately 20 years ago. He has since past and I do not know the complete history. It was in exellent condition when I met him and remained that was until we moved to a new home about six years ago. It was sitting over an A/C vent I do not know for sure but I believe that may have dried it out and caused the veneer to start chipping. If the right person knew how to fix or restore the veneer it would be perfect piece. The Green Italian Marble top is in pristiene condition. as are the drawers, legs and ornate brass fixtures. A wonderful piece of furniture made approx. 100 years ago and still has a look that will enhance any home. This Commode once held the things needed for every day use. Washing and cleaning of one's self. It would be a porceline set of bowl and pitcher behind the door and cleaning clothes and toweld in the drawers. One drawer has dove tail and is in good condition as is the front, back and sides. The other drawer has been fixed the sides to the drawer have been replaced.The top has a small mark that you can see in the pictures. The mark can be rubbed out with the proper wood solution it might be the shellac or polyurethane aging or possibly a candle left on the wood leaving a small circle of a mark. There is one small knick at the same end as the oher mark. All drawers work smoothly and the door opens and closes all the way properly. Old antique wash stand and mirror that belonged to my grandmother. The 2 pieces are( and have always been) hooked together although a local antique dealer said that they were a"married" pair-meaning that they don't necessarily match but they go together. He appraised it at 600.00. Heavy marble that goes up the back. All of that stays if the mirror is removed. You are bidding on a lovely old vanity. It has had some minor restoration work done and is in good condition. There are some slight flaws. The back piece is a little loose, there is a chip in the right door and the trim on it is a little loose, if you look at the top.you can see where it was touched up. The top measures 30 x 17.5 inches, the body is 28 x 28 inches, 28" to the table top and 33.5" from the floor up to the top of the back. ANTIQUE FRENCH CHINOISERIE HAND CARVED ROSEWOOD CHEST COMMODE TABLE STAND
We are pleased to offer this very unique. Antique commode, pedestal table or stand. This is an unusual piece, and is hand crafted of Rosewood. The table features curved, cabriole legs and feet. The legs have an exaggerated dimension to their side profiles. The front of the chest has 2 drawers with a"hidden" pull out door. The remain three sides of the chest have a gorgeous, convex and concave design to their panels with the center of each panel having a circular, convex center. The legs, the drawers and the front door have hand carved(not perfect) notched details. The drawers have rather primitive dovetails. The door pulls out and is hinged. It almost"hangs" on the hinges when it is opened. This is a very elaborately carved piece with incredible character. It features French, Louis XV style with Chinoiserie elements. There ... moreare no manufacturer's marks or stamps. Each drawer has a Roman numeral on both the drawer and its corresponding opening for proper placement. The table is in good condition. It is structurally sound and sturdy(it is heavy) There are nicks and bruises which can be resolved but which do add to the aged character. There is a missing section of trim on the lower section of the top drawer. The color is a medium brown with definite red undertones which gives it a reddish brown appearance. Sides are done in one large scene, a floral arrangement coming out of the large classical urns. This belonged to my husband's late wife's mother and is from pre 1940. A friend who knows a little about antiques said it might even be from the 1850's but I cannot verify that. DEMILUNE Antique Bronze Mounted & Inlaid Marble Top Louis FRENCH COMMODE DRESSER
Here comes an eye candy! You are considering a beautiful large DEMILUNE 19th Century French Bronze Mounted and Inlaid Large Marble Top Commode. Inlaid over the entire front. Best quality work, please take your time to view all the photos, it is well worth it. Center inlay is spread over two drawers, depicts a classical Louis XV XVI bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon in a big bow. Over the top is a large sienna multi-specimen marble. Piece has 3 drawers running down the center, on ends are two vertical doors with storage room and above them are smaller drawers, that are hinged on the outside and they swing open(see photo) The 3 center drawers and 2 doors are fitted with original antique locks. The two center drawers feature loop handles. Gorgeous quality bronze mounts cover the corners. And all four legs are finished off with dore bronze ... moresaboe mounts. Side panels are beautifully curved, the piece hugs the wall beautifully. Beautiful, rich, vivid color wood, refinished recently! Above it all is a beautiful marble top of the most splendid color. There is much crazing from age and A minor nick where the crazing broke free in the edge. It can be felt with the fingernail. It is, by no means, perfect. But considering the age, who can complain. Beautiful marble top burl walnut night stand. I believe this piece to be an original potty chamber. In the days before indoor bathrooms. If one needed to go in the night, an empty container was stored within the bottom cabinet. Up top was a basin with a pitcher of water. In the drawer were stored washcloths or hand towels. Measures 30 x 17 x 15 This piece has the original marble top and is shows normal wear for it's age. This piece is available for local pick up or the moving company of your choice. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK ASH CHIP CARVED TOWEL BAR FOR COMMODE OR DRESSER
This is a very nice Victorian oak or ash chip carved towel bar typically found on a commode or wash stand. It measures aprox. 30" wide at at the bottom x 22 1/4" high. The dowel has been repaired which you can see in the last picture we posted. We also have some other similar harps or frames presently listed. It is available for pickup or can be delivered by Fed Ex ground for 16.80 including insurance. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs.

Antique Edwin Knowles wash basin chamber commode 7pc.set
Seven piece set of Edwin Knowles China Co. wash basin/chamber pot set. From late 1800's to early 1900's. Good condition some crazing in glaze. And some gold decor rubbed off. I see only one sm. hair line crack on bowl and 3 sm. chips-one on sm.pitcher,one on shaving mug& one on vase/cup. These things are not noticeable but I like to be clear on condition. Large pitcher: 12.5inches tall and 9 in. wide at middle Wash basin: 5 in. tall and 16 in. wide Small pitcher: 8.5 in. tall and 6.5 wide Chamber pot w/ lid: 7.5 in tall by 9.5 in wide Small soap/powder dish w/lid: 4 in. by 6in. wide- by Phillips Smith-Fenix but was found with the set and matches very well so I kept it w/set Shaving cup w/handle: 3 3/4 in. tall by 5 in. wide Vase/cup: 4 3/4 in tall by 4 in.wide All are white with gold trim
