There is a thick sliver missing on the upper edge of the right side when looking straight on. It is in nice condition, and will make a great addition to an antique bookcase. The Gustav Stickley mark is on the left hand side of the bookcase- top shelf(7th pic) I don't have the key but the iron pulls are included. I may be missing something that is important to you so please ask any questions. CONDITION- Three panes broke when we moved the bookcase from my aunts house to mine. Just acquired out of a private Midwest estate we are able to offer this exceptionally nice. Circa 1900-1910 ~ SOLID QUARTER SAWN GOLDEN OAK REVOLVING BOOKCASE WITH A TWO TIER TABLE TOP SHELF ~. This fine quality revolving bookcase is quite unique and has a wonderful look as you will see. It has a very unique, handy two tier shelf top and many different compartments for the storage of books. There are individual celluloid numbers below the book shelves to help you locate your desired reference book. The numbers go up to 34 and it looks like there may have been 35 and 36 as well but they are not there. It measures 43 1/2 inches tall by about 26 inches square. The sections to store the books measure about 13 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches deep by 14 1/2 inches wide" some of them are only 11 1/2 inches wide" We have never seen another ... moreone like it, and i9magine it is a fairly hard to find, desirable example. The over all condition is pretty nice with some expected wear from age and use. All in all, it was actually very well cared for over the past 100 years or so. There are some small separations between the some of the boards on the two top shelves. It is very sturdy and is in ready to use condition. We left this bookcase exactly as it was when discovered in the estate and did not do a thing to it. It has been is storage for quite some time. It revolves just fine and rolls on the castor wheels very nice as well. I believe that the finish is original and it is actually quite nice with a rich warm patina. If you have been looking for a really nice and very unique revolving bookcase, this one here may be just the one you have been waiting for. Antique Larkin Mission oak leaded stained glass doors bookcase
Hello. Up for auction is this striking antique solid oak, leaded stained glass, double door bookcase with scroll feet, with four adjustable shelves, and original hardware, with key for locking. It is solid oak, and in great shape for an old piece, including the original finish. Book case was made by Larkin soap company, of Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century, although there are no manufacturer's marks on it. It is indeed a Larkin. No breaks, or cracks in glass. Larkin was an early 20th Century soap manufacturer, who started giving away furniture as promotional items, and had so much success, they started making, and selling their own line of furniture. This auction is for a Stickley Mission Oak Double Door Bookcase with glass doors. It is from Stickely’s Arts and Crafts collection. Item Number: 89-645 Full Length: 52 ¾ inches Full Width: 12 inches Height: 55 ¼ inches Interior: The bookshelves measure 10 ¼ x 46 ½ inches. There is one fixed and two adjustable shelves. Condition: There is a small dark spot(about ½ inch in diameter) on the top about 18 inches from the right side. It is smooth and flush to the surface. Since I had display items on the top. Magnificent Antique Arts& Crafts 1910 Era Mission Oak Bookcase Tall Case Clock. Essentially a Mission oak bookcase with a clock top. The bookcase has 4 shelves. Overall it measures 16 1/2" wide. 10 1/2" deep and 67 1/2" to the top of the frame itself but add another 3 1/2" for the finial piece so it is about 71" high in total. It comes with the original pendulum and it is a time& strike chiming clock. I did not take it apart to check the clock name but I had a Sessions clock years ago that was similar(that one used a glass door bookcase) or it could be New Haven or similar Connecticut maker. Classic Mission slat sides- both sides and back. The top still retains the board that allows access to the movement. The only thing missing was the key but I had an extra brass number 6 size key that fits perfectly. The ... moremovement will run four a bit and stop, I am sure it just needs to be cleaned and oiled as the winding arbor springs feel fine when I tested both. For your consideration is a gorgeous. Quarter sawn, I believe tiger oak barrister or lawyer bookcase with a beautiful base. All original finish and glass. It maintains it's original brass side bands which have darkened with age. This piece has 3 sections which are larger than a lot of barristers, therefore this particular one can accommodate larger books. The first section will accommodate 12" in height books. The 2nd 9" and finally the 3rd will hold 11 1/2" in overall height books. Dates to the late 1800"s. We purchased this 25 years ago at a wonderful antique shop in rural Ohio. this unique piece of furniture is rare. I have checked every book ever printed with pictures and have found nothing, i have and you can check the web for the same. its about 57 inches high and has one door that opens up with 3 shelves inside. i have added several pictures. the first picture shows the item as i got it.without the top. from folks that have seen something similar,one side of the item shows those things(i don't know what they are called)so that the pieces can be connected without screws.on the back of the item. you will see a small hole and a square opening below the small hole. when i got it, there was a screw inside the structure and implanted in the small hole. i took this screw to a hardware store to find out what kind of screw it was. They told me it was for an electrical wire to go thru. the electrical post went inside ... morethru the hole in the piece of wood and that electrical post was the post that went up thru the top piece of wood(now missing) and into the lamp. The electrical cord which would of gone thru the electrical post also went outside the structure and thats why the hole is there,because the electrical cord would of have to be plugged in.I also found out that if you notice that there are openings on the sides and on the front of the structure too, after advertising this piece on ebay for awhile. I have received several notes of what the item is missing and after taking it to to someone who has seen a lamp bookcase like this, i found that the top piece was square shaped and fit on top of the structure. and on top of this square piece was a lamp, an arts and craft lamp and the base of the lamp fit on top of the piece of wood that is now missing and the wire went up the middle of the base of the lamp to the socket of the lamp. i also found out that the three square holes, one on each side and one in the back held a part of the lamp fixture which is missing. Whether this is how the structure was made i can't say for sure. but it seems that this is all possible and as good an opin

Globe Wernicke Bookcase Rare Arts Mission Style.
Arts Mission Bookcase. Excellent age related condition. Circa 1900. Two very large bookcases. Both being D 12 1/4. Base with drawer in great shape. And drawer opens and closes fine, as do the glass doors. Glass on both cases are wavy and old. But I can't attest to there originality. One of the glass doors has been extended at one point. Who. What, where, or why, I don't know. This is a solid wood series. Made with quartered and fumed oak. The pictures are very accurate in terms of condition and color of the wood. Which is darker then golden oak, with a reddish tint. The top piece does have a bit of lifting. But no splitting. Local pick-up. No shipping unless pre-arranged.
