I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

Superb Cotswold School oak book trough rack arts crafts A. Peters Barnsley Heals
This is a superb Cotswold School oak and coromandel wood book trough. The quality of this piece is so easy to see. It is so lavish and over the top with exposed construction. The additional use of contrasting luxury woods is further evidence that this was a top quality piece when it was made. The through tenons and contrasting foxwedges act as a real decorative feature. As do the stylish canted edges. The quality of this piece can be further seen with the fine mitre joint in the coromandel edging. I imagine that this piece was made around 1950. It very much looks like the work produced by Alan Peters when he was working and training at the Barnsley workshop. I cannot definitely attribute it to him though. It measures 15.75" long, 12" wide and 7.5" tall. It would be a great place to store CD's. It is in very good condition. ... moreThe only fault being a slithernick to an edge as seen in the images.

Antique LEAPING TIGER Book Rack/Copper & Oak/Arts & Crafts Era
This is an Arts& Crafts Era LEAPING TIGER Book Rack of Copper& Oak from an estate in Green Valley. AZ. The endpieces depict in beautiful detail a Leaping Tiger in high relief on a hand-hammered background. Perhaps you can see from the pics that the tiger sculpture is applied to the hammered copper background. Each endpiece measures 7 7/8" wide x 6 3/8" high. The oak rack when closed is 18 7/8" long x 8 3/8" It extends to hold 30 inches of books. One of the peg stops underneath is missing. This stops the endpiece from extending off the rail. The only marks on the piece is a"VIIII" etched on one side on the cross-member and an"X" on the other side. A beautiful example of the love affair with nature that the artisans of that era had. This auction is for an older and unique Oak Barley Twist Book Rack. Book Trough from England. It has a pierced carved back on the bookrack in solid oak. It has very pretty Barley Twist post with a caned shelf. It has a"spool" stretcher base to stabilize the unit. This is a True Arts& Craft Era item at it's best. It's quite a"head turner" It's well made and stable and ready to set out today! Right now, my wife has it in our family room on display. It's a Super Cool item that would add interest& charm to any room in your home. It has a Dark Oak Patina to it and I believe the finish is original to the unit. It is 25 1/2" wide. 14" deep at it's feet and 32 3/4" tall overall. The caned shelf is 25" X 7 7/8" and is 12 1/2" off the floor. It's 12" between the ... morebookrack and the shelf. It's overall condition is good. It has a couple of old repairs where the feet/legs attach to the post. I would say someone drilled a hole though the top of the feet and connected the legs to the post either with a screw or peg. then they filled in the holes with some type of compound that set up very hard. See pictures below. It's been touched up a time or two in it's long life but I don't think it has ever been stripped& refinished. It has"tons of eye appeal" It's sturdy& steady. It has some blemishes to the finish(light/dark spots) but there are no burns or water rings. The"caning" is in good condition without any tears or breaks. Presenting for auction a wonderful antique oak Conrey and Birely Table with Barley Twist Legs. It measures 24 inches by 23 1/2 inches by 15 3/4 inches high. This 100 year old table legs may have been shortened some time in its life. The table top is quarter sawn which gives that nice grain effect. As with antique furniture the wood acquires a nice old patina. I think the top and side profile has some nice furniture making detail that shows real craftsmanship. The table top has a few scattered surface burn marks. At the end of one of the feet there is a little wood loss(see pix) but it is to the inside. It needs a little polishing or cleaning. It is very sturdy! I can see some books stacking up on it now. Founded by Jacob Conrey and Charles Birely. The Conrey& Birely Table Company was established in 1874. Barley Twist Oak Shelf This is a very cool old bookstand. It could be considered a whatnot shelf. It is on wheels and has a top that opens. Inside the top is a removeable middle piece that reveals the hidey-hole in the middle. The frame areound the removeable box is coming apart at the corners and the box is missing one knob. It measures 21" across and 36" tall. It has wooden wheels. It comes with the key for the lock too. The wood is in very good condition. There are a couple of minor scratches. Primarily inside the top where it appears people were not careful with the stick. There is a crack in the base that runs along the line with the mortise and tenon from the center section. It is 20" wide. 5" deep at it's top and 7" deep at it's base and 36" tall overall. Just acquired out of a Southern. Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, Antique ~ ADJUSTABLE SHEET MUSIC STAND ~. It has a beautiful solid golden oak top and a very fancy cast iron base. It is certainly one of the nicest looking, and best quality stands we have ever had the oportunity to offer for auction. The fancy cast iron base has a figural lion paw& scroll design. It is signed on the base ~ K&B H ~. The condition is wonderful, and it does not appear that it was used very much at all.
