Very Decorative. Brass and Mahogany, Antique Telescope This large. Brass telescope(c.a. 1900) with a burgundy colored mahogany grip is 29 in long and has as much magnification as practical for a hand held spyglass. The telescope is in good condition, including the mahogany covered main tube, smoothly sliding brass draws and decent lenses. The objective lens does have a series of scallop chips around the edge but these are not apparent in the image. The scope forms a clear image when focused by moving the smallest tube in and out. While the draws and eyepiece lenses can be dissembled. The components of the main tube have been cemented together. While cleaning the inner face of the objective lens is rarely if ever required, it is a pain and must be done with a long cotton swab. The protective eyepiece cover works well and the sun shield can ... morebe used to protect the objective lens; however, there is no lens cap. Another minor problem are the whitish cracks in the mahogany that do not have any functional effect as this covering is firmly attached to the underlying brass. Indeed. In retrospect, I should have left more of the white sea salt in place as it provided visual evidence of this scopes nautical history.

This lovely piece was acquired from a South Carolina Antique store that was closing its doors and we are pleased to be able to offer it to you today-we believe this to be from the 20's or 30's; however. That is just our best guess. Its graceful Queen Anne style will show your cherised items beautifully in your home and here you have the chance to own a very unique piece! It's not often that you find an etagere combined with a glass enclosed cabinet in a corner design! It measures 64-3/8" high to the back corner finial, 16" from the corner apex out to each side and roughly 23" across the front. The upper etagere portion contains 3 small shelves as well as a lower shelf that is between the front cabriole-styled legs. The ... moremid-portion shows a nice glass-front cabinet that has one shelf inside. Actually, it's better than that, it's as-new and unmarked, with 6-7 months of playing-in on the mahogany top. My wife's just bought me a new Guild for our anniversary. Two Antique Mahogany Violin Bows One Signed c1900
These two antique violin bows i think date to around 1900. Both are made of mahogany one with ebony mounts and the other i think rosewood, the rosewood mounted bow has the word Germany impressed on it and the other has a partly missing makers name of Hermann A?er Germany on it, the rosewood mounted bow measures 26.25 inches long and in good condition, the other measures 28.25 inches long also in good condition just a little wear and tear with age and probably needs the hair replaced

Having the original escutcheon. Cartouche and lock in working order with a key. The makers name is stamped in gold on the inside of the lid(see photo 5) sayin g: Stanley. Gt Turnstile, Holburn, W.C. and under that is says: Railway Terminus, London Bridge' There are six long rulers stamped'Stanley' with imperial scales ranging from 10 to 60. As stamped see photo 3& 4. And six smaller rulers for vertical scaling with imperial scales ranging from 10 to 60. The owners name Frank Furnivall is also stamped on each ruler. Please note th at this box and rule r set is all original and all have the same maker's(Stanley) ... more12 rulers present. There are no mixed match rulers present which is qui te rare to fin d. The box is in excellent condition with no damage. Splits or crac ks. And has a super pati na; just a few surface nicks due to age/use. Nice tin face on this one with"Tiffany& Co. noted on it. The wood case is just great looking. Note the nice design that has either been carved(most likely) or inlaid into the wood both above and below the clock face. There is a crack in the case at the tip peak on the front. Great metal trim pieces on side of clock and look appropriate to period. Clock is probably from the 1920s. On the back door. It says D. H. Drohan, 885 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, MD. The movement has H&H noted on it, Made in France, and the number 4573 and SA. Then a seal with a star in the middle of the works as well. The glass is loose in this one, but still all there. A hinged top lid and front opening lid, which allows the cantilever trays to open into a massive 670mm long display. I believe that this box is all original including the brass piano hinges. Escutcheon with keyhole cover and lock which is in working order with a key provided. It is not often boxes like this come on the market because they are so rare. And it would complement a collector of antique tools or could be used as a secure box for other collectable items. The condition of the box is super considering its age. Where the only defects are a small broken piece to the rear corner(see photo 8) ... moreand a minor split to the opposite rear corner, see photo 9. The external surface of the box is fine but it appears to be finished in a varnish where surface scratches have occurred, see photos 1& 4; if the varnish was stripped and the mahogany waxed polished it would look amazing. Vintage Royal Portable Red Mahogany Typewriter in Case
I have here a vintage Red Mahogany finish typewriter with case. The finish is bright with only a few spots of wear on it with light crazing in the finish. The keys move pretty good and I would say only a few stuck when I was typing. A few keys have red marker on them. The biggest part of wear is on the roller. I noticed it was taped over because it is cracking underneath. I have an extra ribbon and a brush. The case has wear and is missing the handle and I do not have a key for it. Email with? The cabinet is 36.5 inches tall, 21 inches wide, and 17.5 inches deep. The cabinet is offered in original finish, as such shows signs of use and age, but no damage. The old finish has a lot of alligatoring effect due to its age. The cabinet is well made and finished on all sides. There are some scuff marks on the back shown in the last photo. Herschede Grandmother Grandfather Clock 1928 Mahogany Case Model 436 5 Chime Tubes Lunar Dial Not Running Condition Wow. Here is a nice old Herschede grandmother clock. This clock also has the numbers 361 and 436 on the clock case, one of them is supposed to be the model number(I think the 436 is the model number) not sure what the other number represents. The 5 on the case is supposedly the line in the factory that the clock was made on. The serial number on the movement is 82128(The antiqueclockpriceguide and Champ's Clock shop sites says this serial number would make this a 1928 movement) The clock can also be referred to as a grandmother clock as less than 75" tall. As you probably know Herschede clocks were made in Cincinnati. OH. They were in business from 1877 to 1983. Recently picked this clock up at an estate sale. Has all ... morethe correct weights with the corresponding lettering on the bottoms of them. Their gold lacquered cases are clean with very little dings or dents. Even came with what appears to be the original instructions and winding key. Has a great looking lunar face on it that has moon and ship scenes. The 29.5 days are the lunar cycle. Movement is dusty and probably needs to be cleaned. The clock face has some wear and corrosion on it. But still shows well with the gold colored detailing. The clock face is 13" tall, by 8-3/8" across by number part and then 9.75" across by the entire plate. The cables for the weights look to be in good shape, I see no fraying on the three of them. The five tubular chime tubes still look good and the hanging wire on them is sound. There were two invoices in the clock from 2000 and 2005 to say that the Tick Tock Shop had done a total of $1,000 in maintenance over those two visits, but of course some clown removed them and did not put them back before I secured the clock. The clock chimes on the quarter hour and then chimes and strikes on the hour. I have had the clock run for a few hours and then stop. Trying to figure out if I have a level i

The seat itself(measuring just shy of 14 inches x 14 inches) is soft, plush and spins just like new. This stool can be raised to a maximum of 26 inches in height and it can be lowered all the way down to 20 inches. This auction is for a lovely Wooden Humidor Cigar storage box. It is very ornate and looks like a jewelry box. It is made of a dark wood. It could be mahogany, I am not sure. I obtained this at a local estate sale, and I am not sure of the age of it. It measures approx. 18" tall to the top of the fancy scroll work on the front, and approx. 13.5" tall for the cabinet part. It has Faux double doors on the front, with 2 knobs, but actually hinges open on the right, there is a finger grab area on the left. It pulls open and there are 4 cedar drawers inside for storing your cigars. Each drawer measures approx. 8" wide. This box also opens at the top, It lifts Up and inside is the humidity unit. The humidor was made by Benson& Hedges. The UK cigarette company, probably in the 1920s. The humidor was made with very high quality craftsmanship. The humidor itself is a mixed metal box that is screw-mounted inside the box. The humidor looks to be made of copper and tin, and it is tightly fitted together. The box has a side arched hook to prevent the lid from over-extending the hinge when opened. All five sides of the box are inlaid with an elegant brass border. In the center of the lid is a brass plaque with the initials B.M. engraved in it. The plaque can be lifted out with suction cups, and, once the back is polished up, the plaque ... morecan be re-engraved for a new presentation. The box comes with a lock, but we do not have the key. The box is marked on the inside of the lid with By Appointment to His Majesty the King. Benson& Hedges, London, New York, Montreal, Patented 1915. The condition is excellent. The mahogany panels are in great shape. The box closes tightly. The metal humidor is in great shape as well. The rubber tubing that creates the airtight seal for the humidor needs replacing. Two sections are missing. And the other two are dried out. They can easily be replaced with new rubber sections, and you can speak with your local tobacconist or cigar shop about acquiring them. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs. The box measures about 12 3/4 by 10 1/4 inches and 5 inches tall. For shipping purposes. Offered here is a very nice high quality vintage solid mahogany wood porcelain lined humido r. With a porcelain lined i nterior and a tin lined lid. Solid brass pian o hing e. L id stop and lock, this box has a solid c opper flange on bottom section that seals the box for controlled hu midity when closed against a felt lining aroun d the lid. The solid brass plate on the lid is engraved with N.C.R. Which looks very nice and can be turned over and engraved on the back side if desired. There are no cracks. Splits or missing pieces and the finish is original. A few light marks are present from normal use over the years(see pics) They are not very noticeable and do not draw attention. Antique Cigar Humidor Mission Arts Crafts Stickley era mahogany glass lined
This beautiful Mahogany box has a plate on top(untested. But I think silver) that has not been inscribed. It has a period engraved border. The interior is milk glass with no cracks or chips. There a two hinges on the front interior which hold what I think is the'sponge' to maintain humidity. This piece removes and is somewhat crusty or calcified. I haven't attempted to clean it since I'm not sure what the best method would be. Please see the last two pictures. The bottom is a faded green felt. The box measures 11 1/4' wide x 8" deep x 4 1/2" high.

Offering a vintage mahogany cigar humidor with cedar& Masonite lining. Felt insert and absorbent brass mounted humidifier. The mahogany on the top and sides is solid. The sides of the top and base are made of thick, slab solid mahogany with lap joints. The cover is a somewhat thinner mahogany panel. The base is composite board. The name plate on the top is ready for an engraved monogram. There is an unfortunate stress-crack across the top, however, this appears airtight and does not detract too much from visual appeal. From the attic of a New England estate. Nice, aged mahogany with high quality hinge& brass mounts. See photos for best description. Bid now for a quality ... morevintage humidor that is in pristine, barely used condition. 50 to 60 years old. Humidor has been photographed directly after being removed from a shelf. Where it has resided for at least 40 years. We have not restored, cleaned, polished or otherwise tampered in any way with the item. It is exactly as found, dust and all. The mahogany has developed a rich, dark red hue and will polish up like a gem. The brass is relatively free of any corrosion. There is an excellent allover patina, with some minor scuffs and scratches that will buff out easily. The crack appears to be all the way across the top, with a tiny gap that might be just enough to hold a quality filler. The Masonite liner in the lid makes the box nearly as airtight as it was designed to be, so it should not allow any excess air into it. Condition: Single owner. This rudder is made of solid mahogany and in great shape. The handle is approximately 26" long and the paddle is 23" long making this a long piece. Beautiful golden. Gently used Larravée OM-05E, late 90's. All original, made in Vancouver, BC. Before Jean Larrivée Guitars Ltd. opened a modern 2nd factory in California in 2001. They produced hand assembled, all-wood guitars in smaller workshops in Victoria, BC( 77) and then Vancouver(82) This is an OM-05E acoustic-electric guitar. Built in the late'90's. Some acoustic aficionados say this period was Larrivée's heyday. A lot of guitar for the money from expertly selected woods. The modern OM-05's do not have all the features of older models and they sure don't have the patina like this one. Sitka spruce top. Beautiful mahogany one-piece back, neck& sides with natural grain stripe all the way around. Canadian maple body-binding, fully-bound ebony fingerboard with Torch-design inlays, ebony vintage-style ... morebridge. Nickel gloss-finished Larrivée sealed tuners, bone saddle. Light-catching, subtle abalone rosette and Larrivée logo with sterling silver outline on head stock. Solid woods have opened-up over time and sound better than new. Played and stored carefully w/ Oasis case humidifier& meter. Minimal fret wear at 1st& 2nd position, no dings, no scratches except minor ones on original clear pick guard and tiniest of playing marks. 1-3/4" width at the nut, 15-1/4" lower bout, 25-1/2" scale. OM(Orchestra-Model) is an easy size, a Martin invention. Plenty of voice and just as comfortable played on a sofa or on stage. Original working 9-volt internal pick-up/pre-amp, plug-in at end-pin, no guitar controls. Neck straight and true, plays beautifully up fingerboard, action right-on. Sound is clear, open& woodsy, good bass. Versatile finger-style, strummed or flat-picked with rich overtones& sustain. For full disclosure. There is a small neck crack at top 1st fret(shipping mishap) which I've tried to photograph(9) Factory-repaired and refinished years ago at Larrivée's California facility. Antique Merricks Spool Cabinet Mahogany? 5 Drawer 3 over 2 with Great Pulls Check out this great Merricks spool cabinet. I am guessing it is made of mahogany. But you be the judge. The front of the drawers are just beautiful. All the lettering is there and is still very clear. Drawers are all intact and there is no missing parts with this case. There is a little finish loss on one side at bottom, see pic. Also some paint speckling(don't you just hate idiots whom do something like that) which I did not attempt to remove. I just wiped the case down with Murphy's wood soap and put some Old English polish on it. The door pulls appear to be white. porcelain. Great trim detailing on the sides. I see no evidence that this case ever had the Eagle labels on it. There is some splitting of the wood.
