This outstanding stacking desk bookcase ... moreis one of the nicest we have ever seen. It has leaded glass windows in the top two sections below the molded top. The carved fall board has a key that opens or locks the desk section. Inside are two strong desk lid supports and a nice set of pigeon holes with a single pencil drawer-fitted interior. The desk section sits above two full width drawers. The top drawer is shaped to fit the curve. The second drawer is carved to accent the fall board. Both drawers have original brass handles. The lowest section is an extra tall one with a"blind" door or wood paneled door to prevent breakage from feet. The entire piece sits on a molded base section. Quartersawn oak is showcased through the entire piece which is in excellent condition. I believe this case was made by the Viking Company. Overall dimensions are 34 wide, 15 deep, and 69 high. Although we have sold hundreds of interesting barrister bookcases over the years, we have never seen this model before. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. It measures 50” high, ... more34-1/2” wide and 11-1/2” deep. The shelves measure 14”, 12”, and 10” high inside. According to the labels, they are pattern #’s 709, 711, and 713 and are all “Grade 3298-1/2”. Great vintage condition, as shown, with minor scuffs from use. A couple minor chips on the veneer on the right side and a couple rings on top. I wiped it down with mineral spirits, but there’s a century’s worth of wax on it, so could use a good cleaning. Due to size and how fragile these are, I’m listing it for local pickup only, sorry. I always have several cases and dozens of sections, so the buyer will have the opportunity to add to or customize on pickup.

Very Difficult Item for me to photograph.So please take a good look at what I've been able to provide. In accordance with it's AGE and UNTOUCHED FINISH. There are cosmetic conditions to the legs.some marks and dings and some light scratches.a drip of what looks to be paint on Back/wall side of rear leg as shown in pic#9.FRONT and SIDES are in Nice Decent Presentable Shape. VERY STURDY and Completely Structurally Sound.measures by my eye 34 1/4 long 11 3/8 wide by 7 1/4" high. PLEASE BE SURE TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT ALL THE PICS. Very Difficult for me to photograph.So please take a good look at what I've been able to provide.Basically a VERY STURDY and Completely Structurally Sound Piece.But it being the top people put things on it and it shows the results with some light scratching and wear and most notably what I believe people refer to as water marks,maybe there was a plant set on top and a little liquid spilled over.on the right a spot about 3" by 3 1/2" and just in back of it a spot which varies 1 1/2" to 2" wide by about 17"The spots are not good but they are not terrible either and may very well polish out,this is not in my realm of knowledge and felt it better left untouched by me.ALSO depending on how high you're building your bookcase it may not really matter anyway if it is a Tall Bookcase and out of sight.FRONT and SIDES ... moreare in Nice Decent Presentable Shape.
