A total of 6 adjustable(2 for each section) removable shelves are found in this phenomenal bookcase/china cabinet. The dimensions of the 4 adjustable side section shelves are 10” in depth by 18” in width and the dimensions of the 2 adjustable center section shelves are 11 ¾” in depth by 23” in width. Please note that this piece will break down into 5 pieces for transport(top, bottom, 3 glass doors) Elegant details found on this Fabulous Walnut Victorian Triple Door Bookcase/China Cabinet with Three Drawer Cabinet Base(Circa: 1870) The top is graced with elegant dimensional crown moulding. You will notice the beautiful dimensionally carved acanthus scroll sconces that accent the top sides of the center door. Lovely raised triangular-shaped panels also adorn the top of the center door. This auction is for an older Oak bookcase from England. It has both an Art Deco Look to it as well as Arts& Craft overtures. It's a very well made bookcase and quite heavy for it's size. It has a pretty leaded and stained glass door. One of the pieces of the blue glass has some cracks in it. The glass is still tight and intact but the cracks are there. See pictures below. A very fine antique. Circa 1880's, simple Eastlake style solid walnut two door bookcase over two drawer base. One piece construction. There are four walnut fronted maple adjustable shelves, the interior back boards also of maple. The panels on the two drawers, and the cornice panel, are burl walnut veneer. The doors retain the original wavy glass panels, and the lock. The drawers have their locks and original hardware. The sides of the walnut case are recessed panels. It is on iron casters. The furniture measures 81" tall by 45-1/2" wide by 16-1/2" the shelves 10-1/2 deep. Excellent condition: original finish, walnut boards without chip or cracks, burl veneer complete. Both glass panels without damage.

Vintage Oak Lawyers Stacking Bookcase Door Glass and Hardware GRM Grand Rapids I sold a vintage mission lawyers bookcase awhile back and the bottom section had been damaged so I sold only the remaining sections. This is the door and hardware that was removed from the bottom unit. It is the glass door that hooks on the sides of the bookcase unit with the hardware for the sides of the bookcase itself. The bookcase it was removed from was oak so this also should be oak. The glass is in perfect condition. No chips or cracks. The knob is not original. The door is in wonderful condition and has the hooks attached on the sides as shown. It measures 32 3/8' X 13½' X 13/16' I did notice that this door is higher than the other ones were and it was on a bottom unit. I'm not sure if all the screws are there but that's what we ... morehad to remove but a screw or two is not hard to find. Some of the parts have some minor surface rust which should clean up easily. Up for purchase is this beautiful Drop Front Secretary Desk with Glass Door a three shelf book or display case on top. I am told this is Birds Eye Maple but I am not 100% sure. I am not sure how old this is but I believe it to be an Antique based on the locks on the desk and the hardware. As you can see in the pictures this displays and looks beautiful. This piece is 84" tall X 36" wide X 17" deep. This would be a great addition and is really a neat piece of furniture. Another great item in our inventory at this time is this really nice triple door bookcase/ curio cabinet in quarter sawn(tiger oak) and regular grain oak. There are 2 drawers at the base on the left and right with flat glass bookcases above them. Which have applied carvings around the top edges. The middle compartment has a curved glass door with applied carvings around the edges, and a curved wood door underneath with lots of applied carvings and more storage. There is a lovely back splash with delicate applied carvings on the edges, shaped bevel glass mirror with oak beading around the mirror. Here is a hard-to-find curved glass door for a 1890's- 1900's oak side by side Secretary/ Bookcase/ China cabinet. It is made of oak- quarter sawn on the top and bottom curved boards and straight sawn on the sides. All original with the original shellac finish. Latch but no handle or hinges. Some shellac on the glass(removable) Glass in good shape. Now the important part: It measures 27 7/8" tall. From the outside corners across the back is 16" wide. The hinge mortice is 1 1/2" and starts at 2" from either end. The lock hole is at just over 15" on center. Shipping is high because it's going to take a lot to box it to prevent breakage.

It consists of a top section w/ tag. 3" tall. the next section down also has tag w/ orig. glass that lifts and slides open. Mechanics are perfect. Its 10 1/2" tall. The next section down, has 2 sliding doors w/ glass, one pane is orig. the other looks to have been replaced. There are no tags for this section. And I have looked over 1000's of pictures on the internet and have not seen another like it! With the sliding doors. This section is 24" tall. It also has an adjustable shelf. The shelf is oak. This is certainly a very fine quartered quarter sawn oak Danner bookcase. Interesting sliding door bookcase(works perfectly) which we have refinished with a smooth and even finish. Danner bookcases were made in Ohio in the early 20th century. This model has the original leaded glass windows on the top section and the original plain glass windows in the bottom section. The design of these bookcases were much like a barrister bookcase in that each section'stacks' on top of the lower one; made for easy moving. Etc. Each side has original adjustable shelves. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, solid mahogany, and stripped mahogany veneers, double door bookcase. The case has curved front corners carved with spiraling acanthus leaves. Large carved claw feet are on front. The case sides and the top board are solid mahogany. Each door has the original wavy glass panel, brass escutcheons, and the key(the two locks are missing their catch. each compartment holds three adjustable mahogany stained maple board shelves. It measures 56-1/4" tall by 54" wide by 15" deep, the shelves 11-1/4" deep. Excellent condition: beautiful original finish, no chips or cracks to mahogany boards, veneers without chips. The glass panels are undamaged.

There are some issues with the finish on the top of the case[showing a degree of"alligatoring" but I am loathe to disturb antique finishes myself, preferring someone more qualified to make things right.
