Up for Auction is a Stunning Mid Century Danish Modern Bookcase made from beautiful grained walnut. This is a very Danish modern looking piece with stylized square tapered legs. It measures 31 inches tall by 32 inches wide and is 12 inches deep and the legs are 6-1/2 inches tall. The top is a little larger than the case and hangs over on all sides and there are two shelves. The bookcase is in very good condition with no stains or cracks. The grain on the wood is stunning and it would be a wonderful addition to anyone's Mid Century or Danish modern home. Danish Modern Teak Storage Cabinet with Bookcase Top. Great Danish Modern teak 2-door storage cabinet with bookcase top. The cabinet has 4 shelves inside. All of which are adjustable. The top half shelves on the bookcase are adjustable and removable as is the bottom shelf. With the bottom shelf of the bookcase removed(as seen in first image) this would be a perfect TV/media storage center. The unit is in good/very good original condition. There are two large holes cut through the bottom of the bookcase and the top of the storage unit. Presumably to accommodate cords. However, these holes would be covered up entirely with whatever you chose to put on the bottom shelf of the bookcase, whether it be books or a TV. Additionally, the bottom large shelf may not be original to the unit, as its front edge is beveled, whereas none of the other shelves ... moreare. DESCRIPTION Handsome and very practical mid century Danish modern teak bookcase. This bookcase has three nicely sized drawers with sculpted teak pulls. A writing surface that pulls out when needed, and two adjustable upper shelves and a fixed lower one. Tapered legs complete the look. This is perfect for small spaces! Stamped on the back- Made in Denmark. DIMENSIONS 68 3/4" high by 35 1/2" wide by 17 1/4" deep. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition. There is no wobble to the legs and the desk and drawers open and close easily. There are no cracks or chips to the wood. On the area above where the desk pulls out there are some dark lines. Which are not scratches. There was a small hole cut out in the backing which was originally at the top. We re-installed the backing so that the hole is now at the bottom.
