This wonderful item features all individual panes of bubble glass. Carved broken arch pediment, 4 doors on the top, 2 doors on the bottom, 5 dovetailed drawers, drop front leather top writing surface, brass hardware, beautiful wood grain, and ample shelving. Each of the drawers has a working lock and the key is included. There are 3 glass shelves on the upper center and 6 wood shelves in the upper left and right unit. Each of lower doors conceals one wood shelf. The upper unit is lighted but the current cord should be replaced. This item is in wonderful antique condition with only minor signs of age appropriate wear as pictured. The original antique bubble glass is free from breaks or damage which is very hard to come by. The backing to the upper unit looks to be lined in a off white colored wall paper and there is a red drip stain to this surface as seen in image#18 on the lower left side. Wear to the finish on one of the shelves can also be seen in image#18. Breakfront measures 92"h x 72"w x 16"d in total. The upper unit measures 56"h x 70"w x 12"d. The lower unit measures 36"h x 72"w x 12"d. I have added many pictures so you can get the best idea of its beauty and condition and supersize all pictures for some great closeup shots. Antique large 7" high seceraty desk bookcase. It's a nice looking piece. I believe it is mahogany but am unsure. I do not know the maker or style of this particular piece as it is heavy and I couldn't find any markings in the places that were accessible to me. We bought this quite awhile ago an estate sale. It does need some restoration as the bookcase seems to have been repainted a few times. As the main color is scratching showing a lime green paint underneath it. The 27 slots are part of the bookcase area. The desk below has two drawer. It would beautiful if one can bring this gorgeous peice back to a more original state. The bookcase is 58" high, 42" across and 12" deep containing 3 shelves as well as the slots. the lower portion detaches and is 30" high 42" across and 20' deep. The bookcase has ... morea crack in the glass. The bottom drawers need to be fixed up a little as they do not slide easily in and out. I pulled the drawers out and seen that the braces need to be reinforced/ Still in spite of it's flaws it still looks very handsome. An antique. Circa 1900, mahogany stained maple double door bookcase. The doors have upper leaded glass design of tulip and leaf, the tulips with beveled glass. There are two interior sections each with three adjustable removable shelves. The case has front corner columns with carved capitols, and paw front feet on casters. Cabinet measures 5' 60" tall by 4' 48" wide by 14" deep, the shelves 10" deep. Very good condition: original finish- some minor stain or ring spot on the top, maple without chips or cracks. Crack to a leaded glass petal and crack to tip of a tulip petal. All leading original and secure. The glass door panels are fine and original. The doors have had their locks removed, each door now with glass handles that replace the original metal handles.

Book case was made by Larkin soap company, of Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century, although there are no manufacturer's marks on it. It is indeed a Larkin. No breaks, or cracks in glass. Larkin was an early 20th Century soap manufacturer, who started giving away furniture as promotional items, and had so much success, they started making, and selling their own line of furniture. Due to poor lighting the frames appear much darker than they really are. Each door has 53 pieces of glass in them. The craftsmanship is excellent. Small Walnut Bookcase Secretary Desk Top with Blind Doors in the Rough
Very nicely made. Unusually small size walnut bookcase top section, originally from a secretary desk. It could be used as a hanging cupboard. Measures 31 1/4" wide(without moldings) 11 1/4" deep and 37" high. Case is quite sound. Original back. Shelves and door lock(with key) Available for pickup at my shop in Carlisle PA. Antique Oak Leaded Glass Bookcase Cabinet Doors Window
Here we have a nice set of stained leaded glass doors for a bookcase or cabinet. The frames are all original and have never been painted. Each door measures 28 1/4 inches tall by 17 3/4 inches wide. They have their original latches and hinges.one hinge is bent and one is missing. Looks to have broken off leaving a piece missing about 1/8th inch wide by 5 inches long(see last 2 pictures) There are scratches on one door only.we have tried to picture them accurately(next to last 2 pictures) These display well and will give many more years of pleasure.
