Condition: Used Location: Hatfield, United States Antique Mission Oak Library Desk I can find no markings on this except a#17 in pencil in the drawer slide and a# 17 in pencil in the drawer. I assume ... morethey did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of a quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Top of desk 36 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep and the desk top is 29 1/2" above the floor. Will ship via Greyhound Bus to a station of your choice for you to pick up. This particular unit stands 45-1/4" tall by 15" wide by 10-7/8" deep at top and tapering to 13-1/8" deep at the bottom with five shelves. The 3 top are 7-1/4" tall and the 2 bottom are 8-1/2" tall. Up for consideration is a fine Oak Arts Crafts 4 stack barristers or stacking bookcase. The bookcase stands 50 1/2 inches tall by 34 inches wide. Each Stack is labelled with a paper label to the interior. Each Section is stacked on the other and they are different dimensions. The bottom section being 15 inches tall the two center sections being 13 inches tall and the top one being 11 inches. The depth is 11 inches deep and the overall depth at the feet is 12 1/2 inches. The bookcase has a patent date on the door sliding mechanism of 1908. The finish is excellent. It is original dark brown varnish with extra clean interior coloration. A very fine antique. Circa 1905, Globe-Wernicke quartersawn oak five stack bookcase, with the bottom drawer section and the top cap. The stack interiors are maple. All oak doors retain their original wavy glass, and square brass knobs. Original brass pulls to drawer. The barrister type bookcase measures 6'1" 73" tall by 2'10" 34-1/2" wide by 11" deep, each stack 12" tall. Paper labels to interior read: size D 10-1/4, grade 299-1/2. Excellent condition: original finish, quartersawn oak boards without chips or cracks. All glass panels are without damage. Brass knobs and drawer pulls with dark patina.

Just acquired out of a private Midwest estate we are able to offer this exceptionally nice. Circa 1900-1910 ~ SOLID QUARTER SAWN GOLDEN OAK REVOLVING BOOKCASE WITH A TWO TIER TABLE TOP SHELF ~. This fine quality revolving bookcase is quite unique and has a wonderful look as you will see. It has a very unique, handy two tier shelf top and many different compartments for the storage of books. There are individual celluloid numbers below the book shelves to help you locate your desired reference book. The numbers go up to 34 and it looks like there may have been 35 and 36 as well but they are not there. It measures 43 1/2 inches tall by about 26 inches square. The sections to store the books measure about 13 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches deep by 14 1/2 inches wide" some of them are only 11 1/2 inches wide" We have never seen another ... moreone like it, and i9magine it is a fairly hard to find, desirable example. The over all condition is pretty nice with some expected wear from age and use. All in all, it was actually very well cared for over the past 100 years or so. There are some small separations between the some of the boards on the two top shelves. It is very sturdy and is in ready to use condition. We left this bookcase exactly as it was when discovered in the estate and did not do a thing to it. It has been is storage for quite some time. It revolves just fine and rolls on the castor wheels very nice as well. I believe that the finish is original and it is actually quite nice with a rich warm patina. If you have been looking for a really nice and very unique revolving bookcase, this one here may be just the one you have been waiting for. Magnificent Antique Arts& Crafts 1910 Era Mission Oak Bookcase Tall Case Clock. Essentially a Mission oak bookcase with a clock top. The bookcase has 4 shelves. Overall it measures 16 1/2" wide. 10 1/2" deep and 67 1/2" to the top of the frame itself but add another 3 1/2" for the finial piece so it is about 71" high in total. It comes with the original pendulum and it is a time& strike chiming clock. I did not take it apart to check the clock name but I had a Sessions clock years ago that was similar(that one used a glass door bookcase) or it could be New Haven or similar Connecticut maker. Classic Mission slat sides- both sides and back. The top still retains the board that allows access to the movement. The only thing missing was the key but I had an extra brass number 6 size key that fits perfectly. The ... moremovement will run four a bit and stop, I am sure it just needs to be cleaned and oiled as the winding arbor springs feel fine when I tested both. A truly rare unique magnificent piece of genuine Mission oak- Stickley Limbert 1910 era. Fine clean solid sturdy condition- check my photos. The dark finish to the oak is fine and original. And I think it is mahogany, but it is possible it is maple with a mahogany stain. It measures 34-3/8 inches long, 11-1/2 inches deep, and is 7 inches tall. SOLID TIGER OAK ARTS& CRAFTS STAINED GLASS DOOR BOOKCASE Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer you this very attractive and high quality solid quartersawn(Tiger Oak) Circa 1900 stained and leaded glass double door Bookcase. This specimen post dates the Mission Oak American furniture movement which came about a decade later. This has the original William Morris English Arts& Crafts movement design. It is defined with three applied floral carved motifs on its top frieze and double stained. Leaded and textured glass doors. The case is made from very thick select cuts of solid tiger oak. It is in a very nice old well oxidized original finish. This finish takes on a reddish dark amber hew that is impossible to replicate. It is most desirable and absolutely critical with correct Arts& Crafts Furniture. When we usually encounter these ... moretypes of pieces they are almost always stripped and and redone in a golden oak finish. We are most pleased to find this in its original finish. It has four adjustable shelves, tapered squared off legs with locks and key. We did not receive this with a key but we will have one cut for it. Please forgive us, we noted in our pictures that we had the unfinished edge of the bottom shelf facing the wrong way. From an estate. 4 shelf solid oak book case as shown. All joints are doweled and as a bonus. None are glued so that the entire unit comes apart for lower shipping cost(yay) Easy re-assembly with a rubber mallet or a hammer and a block of wood. I'll have each piece numbered to help. As shown, unit measures +/ 36"h x 18"w x 11-5/8" front-back. There are signs of age and use including some water marks and scratches. The back panels of its top section has a serious of very old all original mirrored back panels designed to accent displays of wares. We obtained it from a home where it was used for a very large bookcase. In its base section are two large generous pull out work stations.
