Authentic Victorian Era Antique Miniature Oil Lamp 6 1/2" Tall Great Condition
I will be listing more items of milk glass from the same estate collection. If you find more than one item you like. I'll happily combine shipping. This is a very pretty little oil lamp. It has the top. That screws down into the base. It has brass metal hardware, a milk glass base, and a clear glass chimney which looks and fits like it may be original to the lamp. The milk glass is very good condition with no damage. The only issue the oil lamp has is paint loss where the raised areas once were painted. There is no maker mark or mold mark on the glass and no marks on the brass. It stands approx. 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the chimney. If I have omitted any information, please send questions and I'll do my best to get you an answer.

This lamp has been rewired and has a brass hubbell socket shell and a pull chain socket which has a gorgeous blue glass bead and bakelite leaf pull on the end of the chain. The gorgeous wide pierced brass floral shade ring is decorated with 27 strands of crystal lustres with new brass bow tie pins. The lamp has a gold finish. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. The lamp font 3-1/4" across at the base and it is slightly tapered. The font and burner is about 4-1/2" tall. The burner is in good condition and it works fine. The burner is stained on the inside. It has 2 burners and the knobs are marked, Youngs Screw Fittings" The font has enamel painted flowers all around. This lamp has the two wicks still in the burner and has not been altered in any way. The beautiful acid etched cranberry shade is in very good condition with no damage. It has a 4" fitter. I believe the chimney to be original too but not 100% certain.
