Rare Apollo Duplex mid 19th Century brass. Oil student lamp with acorn shaped reservoir and burner. Small dent in acorn shaped reservoir. Bottom of reservoir reads"CLOSE THE VALVE AFTER FILLING. Adjustable cross arm with detailed griffin. The reservoir is decorated on the side with a raised torch. Vintage Brass & Marble Stiffel Mid Century Modern Eames Era 1960's Lamp W/ Shade
Hello. I m offering this Mid Century Modern Stiffel lamp. The piece stands 32 1/2" high and shade has a diameter of 20" marble base is 12" x 6 1'2" Great line with this very rare Stiffel lamp one of the hardest to find. With mounted lift off candy or nut dish. There is a stiffel label as per photo 6. Faded somewhat. The shade which is orginal has some old tape marks inside and some paper tears all pretty much on the inside, I have the photos shown all sides of shade. The lamp takes three standard base blubs and does work. The shade and base must be shipped in separate boxes. Thanks, Craig

Mid-Century Porcelain Lamp Pair Pink Balls Spheres & Ornate Brass Bands
Offering these antique luster ware lamps. Luster iridescent porcelain with volcanic(raised white porous) glaze. These lamps are probably from the fifties. But could have been made in the forties or sixties. Please use your own judgement. The lamps have their original hoops and finials and measure 30" tall. The total height of the four spheres(including the metal bands) is approx. 15 1/2" Each sphere measures approx. 3 1/4" tall by approx. 6" in diameter. The spheres have no chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are two to three tiny spots of light wear beneath the metal separating rings. Not seen. Covered, and not detrimental. Any lines which may appear to be scratches in these images are white glaze streaks and original to the finish. There are two or three tiny bubble pops and several tiny black cinders trapped within the ... morewhite eosin? glaze. All original. Very minimal wear. If any, to the glazes. The plug on one lamp has been broken and will need replacing. The other electrical parts on both lamps look good. But one might want to re-wire the lamps for safety's sake. The lamp with the intact plug works. I see no reason the other lamp won't work after that broken plug is replaced. I disassembled the lamps for cleaning as shown in the image of the lamp lying down. As you can see in this image. The bottoms of the spheres are not glazed. The open criss-cross brass tone metal bands are in very good condition with no damage. There is an aged patina to the metal. I didn't clean these bands or the metal lamp bases. Except to wipe them off. There is minor loss of the finish to the metal bases on both lamps. Not bad except for the one area on the one lamp base as shown. These lamps will be shipped separately for an insured flat rate of $60($30 each) This offer applies to lower 48 states only. The art glass shade rests on three arms. Strong colors. There is a minor early repair to the top of the shade about 3/4 of an inch as shown in the photo. The latter is only mentioned for accuracy of description. The opening bid in reasonable and is more than likely worth the price of the base alone. It can be converted to electricity; the base has been prepared for this. The class chimney appears to be original to the piece although I am not 100% certain on this. This is a beautiful, old lamp with similar characteristics and styling that are often seen in lamps by Tynell. This lamp features copper or coppered brass construction. It has a rounded, raised base. The lamp's"gooseneck" column is adjustable. It is finished quite nicely with the coppered finish mixed with a brilliant brass finish. It gives the flexible gooseneck a"striped" appearance. The shade is outstanding. It is large and curved cone shaped. It features a pierced detail band on the top and bottom sections of the shade. There is an on/off switch at the top of the shade.
