My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. UNUSUAL METAL BRASS ISLAMIC EUROPEAN LAMP BASE JARDINIERE STAND ?
THIS beautiful piece mystifies me and at the same time it is so nicely decorated that it mesmerizes me! I'm not exactly sure what it does- looks like it can be a lamp base or a jardiniere stand( you be the judge. The decoration reminds me of some european influence- very similar to decorations on inlaid sorrento boxes that typically depicts stylized birds amongst foliage. The porcelain has an array of pink, yellow& blue flowers on a white base, with gold trim decorations and small cut outs. I replaced the electrical. But not the cord. 1930s antique bridge floor lamp with houze glass base, brass outer tubing
Up for auciton is this 1930s lamp that has a seven inch square houze glass base. The lamp retains some of its original green. Red and gold paint on its bridge, column break adn column pieces. The brass pole pieces are very clean. The lamp base as well as other pcs are clean. Minor cleaning should be done to the bottom of the base. I have replaced the glass piece with a chip and crack free base. The paddle wheel socket work. Buyer will have to rewire the lamp. To protect the pieces. The lamp will be taken apart, pieces number and instructions given for reassembly. I would like to thank all my past customers. With over 150 lamp sales. Moser coin Bohemian ruby red cut glass lamp w/ brass L&L 6784 base
Here is a gorgeous Bohemian ruby red& white cut glass coin lamp with a brass L&L base. Number 6784. It stands 34 inches tall, the glass itself is 18 inches, the base is 4 inches and the harp is 12-13 inches. The diameter of the glass base is 7 inches. It has very little wear on it and no damage with the exception of a slight nick in the base gilt trim line, see photo) its hard to see, its tiny! There are no paint losses or glass chips I found, and the cutting of the white to red glass is first class workmanship. There is no shade or finial on this lamp. This listing is for a beautiful banker's style desk lamp with gorgeous black glass shade and black marble and brass base. I believe the marble on the base is real as lamp is very heavy at 4.5 lbs. But the marble on the column feels faux, but I could be wrong. I believe the brass is also real as magnets do not stick to it. Black glass shade is intact and is not broken and it has no chips or cracks. The brass base is tarnished and could use a polishing. I will leave that to the new owner. Antique brass floor lamp Green onyx base
This lamp was working when I purchased it at an estate sale. Prior to its sale. It was being used. I have never seen one like this. The lamp has as a rust free 11 inch square base and is four inches high. The green onyx base is 6.5 inches square and 1+ inch high. The base has a 3/4 inch green paint. There are four pieces and two rings that make up the column. Three of the pieces have the same of green paint the base has. The paint is original to the base) The long out pole piece has two breaks in it. Three out of the five or six pieces below the candleabra socket unit again is painted green. Four light candleabra. This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. A beautiful brass/bronze table lamp in the French Regency style. Heavy and ornate. It sits on a salmon colored marble base with 4 dolphin feet. All metal parts are non-magnetic. The body of the lamp is an urn with an ornate floral design on both the front and the back. The urn has two Greek Key handles. Measuring 7-1/2” from handle to handle. Above the urn is a brass column holding a plastic candle sleeve and ending in Levinton double sockets with pull chains. The rectangular marble base has a center brass medallion decorated with scrolls and an Acanthus leaf. The numbers 3. 10, 5, 4, and 7 have been scratched into the underside ... moreof the marble. The tall dolphin legs(3-1/2” high) are brass. The lamp is unmarked and age is not known; however. It is extremely well-made with fine craftsmanship. A fabulous estate find. It was described as antique French brass. The condition is great antique or vintage. In working order with very few issues. The brass does show some imperfections here and there. But it has not been cleaned. There are no dents or dings. The right corner of the marble on the base has been repaired and looks to be expertly done with no rough edges(photos#7 and#9) There is one small dark spot on the top of the marble by the brass connector(photo#9) There is a wear spot(photo#10) on one of the handles on the urn. Lamp Desktop Brass Globe Sliding Top Lighted Base Works 1930`s
A unique small desktop lamp believed to be from the 1930`s era with a lighted neck on the base. The globe is solid brass and is lightly delineated with longitude and latitude bands. The ring surrounding the globe slides to the side to reveal a compartment that goes into the core of the globe. The lady I got it from said her Grandfather used to keep old coins in the compartment. The brass globe is tarnished and could be highly polished if desired. The vintage patina gives the piece a nice old appearance. The internal light turns on and off by pushing the switch on the side of the base. The light is basically the brightness of a nite light and would not take the place of a reading lamp. The old cord is getting stiff. But is not cracked or damaged. The base is painted stamped steel with a decorative brass accent band. Each is painted on both sides. The base is more teal than. The shade more blue and shade has a yellow band on the bottom rim. The base is cast bronze or brass with an ornate design and a screw in opening. There is no burner or chimney. It has not been electrified and there are no cracks. There is chipping on both rims of the shade only. There is discoloration around the area where there is paint loss. Possibly from spilled oil. Still good condition for it's age, which dates to the late 1800's to early 1900's and being sold as found, could be a fun restoration project. This is heavy and large. Victorian blown-glass electric hurricane lamp base brass feet, 7" ring for shade
Victorian-style. Frosted blown glass, hurricane-style electric lamp base with four ornate brass feet. The base has hand-painted small roses on both sides and a powdery tint of pink at the top and bottom of the base part. It takes a standard watt light bulb. 40-100 watts, although 40 watts gives a soft ambience to the room. The light turns on and off with a switch at the base of the top shade in the form of a decorative"key" The base(from the ring to the feet) is 10-3/4 inches high. The glass bottom part of the lamp is 5-5/8 inches across. The brass base(with feet) is 5-1/2 inches across. The ring on the base that the shade sets into is 7 inches in diameter. The cord is 98 inches long. You will need to provide the shade(which sets into the ring on the base) But a picture of the shade I once had is shown. As a guide to finding the ... moreright shade: the bottom part of the shade that fit into the ring on the base measured 6-3/4 inches in diameter, and was 5-7/8 inches high and 7-3/4 inches in diameter.

Antique Brass Table Lamp with glass decoration and Marble base Vintage Lamp
This is a vintage small brass lamp with no markings on it. It is brass with a decorative glass orb and a marble base. Measures 10 inches tall. Base is 3-1/2 inches x 3-1/2 inches. Glass orb is also 3-1/2 inches x 3-1/2 inches. Cord is missing the electrical plug. I'm not sure if this came with a glass shade but if it did. It is missing too. Very cute looking.
