Vintage 1920's/1930's Set/2 Shabby French Tole Candlestick Lamps Metal Flowers Offered for auction is a charming vintage pair of electric candlestick lamps circa 1920-1930's. Very French. The nicely burnished metal lamps have ornate bases that measure 4" square and enameled flower accents that still show a hint of their original pink color. They stand 13" high without the lightbulbs-with lightbulbs and shades, they measure almost 17" high. As you can see from my photos, they are in excellent working condition and do not need to be rewired. The lampshades are newer and not original to the lamps-the shades will come with the lamps as they work so well with them. Wonderfully shabby and perfect for the lover of romantic vintage! One of the finials is not original as shown and one of the shades is slightly di scolored. On e of the brass bot toms is damaged in what I believe was an attempt to see the underside to find a maker's mark but there is m ore metal under it. I'm not sure of the make but they remin d me of Nymphenburg porcelain but I cannot say fo r sure. Set of 2 Antique Vintage Victorian Ceramic Figurine Brass Lamps Man Woman. Set of 2 white ceramic figurine lamps with hand painted( gold trim. They are sitting on what looks to me like brass. But not 100% sure. They are in excellent condition. With no chips or cracks that I could find ... moreon the figures. I didn’t see anything wrong with the brass either. I haven’t seen any exactly like them on eBay. The lamps are 12” tall and 4” wide. The make figure is 7 ¾” tall x 3 ½” wide and the female is 7 ½” tall x 3 ¾” wide. When plugged in the boy lamp works. But the little push button to turn on and off doesn’t. We could not get the girl lamp to turn on. The numbers A566 are on the bottom. No other markings that I could find. Crazing has set in on the surface of the glaze. These measure a pprox. 18 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. (2) Vintage Trench Art Lamps made from M43 81mm Mortar Rounds on Piston Base
Here is your chance to pick up(2) trench art lamps made in the 1940's. The are made from(2) M43 81 MM Mortar Shells and the bases are pistons from the same time period. These are REAL Mortar Rounds that were made safe and used to make these lamps. The rounds have been chromed to match the piston base. I cannot identify the pistons but they are probably from a military vehicle from the 1940's and are in good shape. Both lamps work and both are in great shape. These were made really well and I have provided pictures showing the holes made for the electrical cord as well as the vintage power cord end. The mortar rounds are marked Lot 15- 47- 3FA 81 MM M43 EDB and were roll marked as they did in the 40's. The lamps are 15 inches tall and the piston base is 6 inches wide. Here is a little information on the M43 81MM Mortar: The first ... moreattempt to obtain more efficient trench mortar ammunition was with the development of the 75-mm smooth bore mortar in which the old 75-mm French type shell was modified by tapering the shell from the bourrelet back to the base. And fitting an aluminum fin in the base of the shell. The round was propelled by means of an ignition cartridge inserted in a short cartridge case, and with propelling increments inserted between the blades of the fin. The stability of the round was not satisfactory, and the development was abandoned. A streamlined projectile with fin assembly was then designed for the 3-inch trench mortar with poor results. Several attempts were made with shell of different contours, but proved unsatisfactory because proper stability was not obtained. After World War I. There was an early trend away from the low powered, muzzle-loading Stokes mortar to breech and rifled mortars which were mounted on wheels. The muzzle velocity, the range, and the weight increased, but in so doing, the effectiveness of the trench mortar was decreased in that it lost its simplicity. Set of Vintage 1930's-1940's Hurricane Lamps These are beautiful old lamps perfect for your collection! They are 12" tall with the red shades on. The shades measure 3 1/2" at their widest. The bases are glass and metal. The metal piece which holds the shade seems to be pressed tin. They are in excellent condition. There is a little bit of discoloration on the metal between the layers of glass. Both of these hurricane lamps were rewired by an antique professional in 2010. Vintage Hollywood Regency Pair (2) Neoclassical Column Brass & Marble Lamps
NO E-CHECKS PLEASE. A beautiful pair if column lamps in very good as found as shown condition. Both blink on and off and will need new sockets. No chips of cracks on the marble. The metal parts appear to be brass but i am not certain. A magnet is not attracted to these. The harps on these do not match. This large scale vintage Conch Shell Light is comprised of a large shell which is mounted/affixed to a base which is part of another shell. The large shell is carved/incised with a design which features a Dragon and a Phoenix Bird. This lamp has red colored eyes for the dragon and Phoenix bird. There is a hole drilled in the back of the large shell. Inside there is a socket at the end of the wire to insert a bulb. Antique Vintage Oil Lamp And 2 Frosted Glass Shades
NO RESERVE AUCTION for antique green glass oil lamp and a pair of stunning shades. These are not matched item- the lamp likely had a regular glass oil lamp shade on it. The 2 shades are pink and powder-blue. With very minor chips to the color at the bottom edge of the pink one, and a spot of black'smudge' on the bottom of the blue one. Not sure what the black is(tar maybe) but have not attempted to clean it off in case I damaged the shade. They have matching beautiful raised patterns on the surface of a vine with berries and leaves. The lamp is about 11inch tall. The shades are approx. 6.5 inch diameter and 8.5 inch tall. This is a Beautiful Roaring 20's vanity or night table lamp. This beautiful lady is dressed like a Flapper from the 1920's. I think she is porcelain. The light shines through the slits in her eyes and from the back where the bulb goes. There is green felt on the bottom. I do not have a lot of information on her. I do not know who made her or her exact age. Her headdress is grayish-green in color and her blouse/top is brown. See the pictures for the color details. Weighs 12 pounds! Beautiful detailing on lamp base. A few nicks to the finish on the bottom(see last 2 pictures below) and the ring that holds the shade and chimney isn't exactly round anymore- only a little bent. Not noticeable with shade and chimney in place. Green shade is exquisite. It is 11-1/4" tall and 9" across at the widest point. No chips or cracks. A stunning piece in itself. This is a vintage Leviton Brass desk/table lamp with 2 light socket and with adjustable and removable brass shade holder as you seen on the photo. Right 2/3 from the bottom of the shade holder. There is a screw and you can remove the top portion or adjust the height. With the height adjusted, it measures 23 inches tall.
