I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. The ... morehas been rewired with a rayon cord and the plug is a newer replacement as well. Antique G. E. Co. Arts & Crafts Industrial Era Copper & Diffuse Glass Table Lamp
18-1/2" high G. E. looks bronze but is probably copper) lamp which has the old"bumpy" diffused glass held by the copper frame& small rounded brass screws. As shown. would look great with a good looking slag glass) It has no damage, just the patina of age with a few gentle"bumps" at the top corners and edges. All of the glass is intact with no cracks or breaks and the lamp is good, solid and very heavy for its size. I am assuming it is made by"G. E. as the switch indicates or, perhaps, it was just a G. E. switch. The lower edges of the shade measure about 10-1/4" square and the base measures about 4-1/4" square. I think it has its original wiring and cord. Works just fine. it will be shipped as one unit with shade in place.

Giant 24" Tall Accurate Castings Co. Hurricane Lamp ~ Very Nice
This is a gorgeous lamp in excellent condition. It's top lamp shade is 13" wide and it stands 24" tall. When you turn the key style switch once the top and bottom light up. Turn it twice and the top shade only lights up. It takes a night light bulb in the bottom. I replaced it with a new one with low wattage and it's lit up very dimly in the first picture. Antique Brass Hitchcock Lovell and Co 1888 Eagle Oil Lamp
I don't know much about antique brass oil lamps. But from what I can gather from online research, this fits the bill. The embossing says"Hitchcock Lamp Lovell and Company 1888" It also has an eagle between the"18" and the"88" I don't know what kind of condition this lamp is in. The only areas of concern are around the base, some dents or distortions. They are not very noticeable from a distance, and most definitely do not take away from the overall gestalt of the item. There is a small crack near the top around the flame guard about 1/2" long. The embossing is faded. The word"Hitchcock" is somewhat faded, and the"L" in"Lovell" has faded. Antique Clear Glass Oil Lamp with Clear Glass Globe When fully assembled about 13 inches tall. The glass globe is about 8.75 inches tall; it is 12.5 inches around at the widest circumference and tapers to about 6 inches at the narrowest point flaring slightly to finish with a fluted top. Made from molded or pressed glass. The glass base is about 4 inches tall and has a small loop handle. About 14.24 inches wide in circumference at the widest point which is a raised border at about midpoint. The bottom, which is, about 4.25 inches wide has a fancy pattern(which looks like cut glass but is not. The design is like a sunburst or flower. The metal base is about 2.25 tall and appears to be brass. It screws into a brass colored fitting at the top of the glass base. Four prongs of about 1.5 inches tall hold the glass globe in place. The metal base ... moreis stamped"EAGLE. There is a wick still in the lamp and I find the screw to turn the wick stiff. The metal is unpolished and has some discoloration. Up for auction is an incredible opportunity to own one of the rarest plaster lamp sets there is! Up for auction is the Female version of the Robin Hood or Hunter chalkware lamps made by Continental Art Co. in the 1950's. I believe this example has the original fiber shade and finial. Incredible over the top design that is super retro now! As collectible lamp sets. The Continental lamps prove to be super collectible! Great Art Deco design! Very minor paint issues. One scrape of the paint on her knee and some minor scratches on her back arm. These could be easily touched up. Original socket and cord both in great shape. The fiber shade is in very good condition but the cording is broken in a couple of places. There are very few issues for such a rare lamp. Nice color with glossy brown skin and speckled cream clothing and details. Large ... moremushrooms are at her feet. This auction is for this lamp only but I can purchase the male mate to this lamp if you are interested. There is no fiber shade or finial but he is in excellent condition like this one. Faience Manufacturing Co. 1880's vase/lamp barbotine earthenware
Faience Manufacturing Company 1880's vase/lamp make an offer and you might be surprised that I accept it. This is an amazingly rare earthenware vase/lamp from the FM Co. The Fm Co. was only in business from 1881-1892 and was run by Edward Lycett. Who has designs in the Smithsonian museum and the Metropolitan Museum of art among others. more info about Edward Lycett is below) There is a stamp in the vase bottom of FM Co. as well as a mold# of 296. This unique lamp/vase may be one of the few if only one that still has it's original brass base attached. The lamp was originally an oil lamp. At some point in the 1900's it was converted to an electric lamp. It still has the original oil wick control that now acts as the on/off control. I took it to a local antique chandalier shop in Boulder. who specialize in antique oil chandaliers ... moreconverted to electric) and they said the conversion was quite professional as well quite hard to detect/ingenius. The actual ceramic flower pedals are overall in terrific shape. There are a couple of hard to see chips. one can be seen in the pictures-it is on the backside of a flower pedal and is not noticeable from front) I do have the small flakes saved in a plastic bag. In case anyone wanted to have them professionally put back on. Considering this lamp is ceramic and fragile and almost 130 years old, it is in very, very good shape. There are a few other Faience Manufacturing Co. vases for sale on ebay. But none are as ornate nor lamps with the original brass base and original oil lamp. There are two vases for sale at on online antique dealer of the same style as this one(at rubylane) these 2 vases are selling for $10,000. This lamp/vase is 10.5 inches tall from bottom of base to top of ceramic rim. It is 21 inches tall from base bottom to top of globe and just under 23 inches tall from base and top of glass mantle. It is about 9 inches wide including the ceramic flowers. I am fairly certain the globe is original as it fits the brass lamp holder perfectly. I am uncertain if

Stunning big Edward Miller table lamp stamped E& M Co. on the base. It measures 24 inches high and 16 inches across the widest part of the shade. It needs re wiring and has not been used for many decades. Unfortunately the shade has some losses to the detail(see picture 3) and the basket detail is missing from 3 sides(every other one) This could be restored. However I think it looks beautiful as it is. The base and the finial are stunning and the detail is excellent. It is a very stylish item. This beautiful antique"Gone With the Wind" style Victorian oil lamp has been converted to electric. The shade of green shows a little light in the pictures; it's a pastel lime green. No shade. Works great. But needs a quick repair, as the bulb socket is depressed(sinking into the body of the oil well) and needs to be pulled into position. 6 victorian sterling silver pierced lamp shades pat 1913 SC & L Co. Shreve.....
Rare Victorian/Edwardian era pierced Silver Shades for candle lamps. All 6 are from the same local SF bay area estate. The first photo shows the 6 shades. The 4 in the front are individually stamped at the top rim: Sterling Pat'd Dec 16- 13. There is a hallmark of a block letter"H" with an arrow or some sort of a bar going through the center. The number 780D is also stamped on each shade. The maker appears to be S C& L Co. Which stands fro Shreve. Crump& Low. Together they weigh over 8 ounces on my postal scale. They are solid not flimsy. In the first photo the two shades in the back have more of an art noveau style. They are not Sterling. They are stamped EP 05 which I believe means Electro Plated 1905. This is a great old oil lamp that is electrified. But it was electrified right at the top, and not drilled so it can be converted back to oil lamp use. The lamp and font are made from a brass with a lovely old patina and it has a marble square base that the lamp sits on. It has the original Cornelius& Sons label attached. Offered is what I believe to be an original R. Williamson& Co. brass lamp base. Base has the characteristic hi-relief Williamson acorn(berry) finial but is unmarked. Not all Williamson bases were marked. Base is in excellent. Original condition. Note the hi-relief chrysanthemums at the base. The theme was characteristic of the early 1900s. Add a leaded shade and you have a $5-7,000 lamp. Note also fluted column and double sockets. One lacks an end flange. Base to finial tip measures 23 3/4 in. high. Base diameter is 7 1/2 in. This is an antique. Victorian, red,art glass lamp produced by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. The lamp is a reconverted kerosene/ oil lamp that has been electrified. The lamp's pattern is Imperial and also can be called Diamondrape or Victoria.The red(cerise) satin finished lamp was produced in the 1890's through the early 1900's.The lamp is about 15" tall(glass and base) with a footedbase that is brass plated with the splter(zinc) finish. The base is a 7" square. If you want the shade I have used with the lamp, I would send that also but in another box. This lamp belonged to my mother's best friends's mother. My mother and her friend would be close to 100 if they were alive today. I was given this lamp about 40 years ago. Up for auction is this wonderful. Antique, and rare oil Lamp marked"Success" and"P.L. B. G. Co. I tested it with a magnet and there was no attraction anywhere on the lamp which leads me to believe it is Brass, It is not steel or tinplate and too heavy for aluminum. P. L. B. G. Company was in business from 1900 to 1926. The famous"Success" burner was patented( 656891& 774602) between 1900 and 1916 and was the foundation of the company. P. L. B. G. Co was associated with the Railroad Industry. This is fresh from an estate. I suspect that it was used for illumination in a passenger coach. Or a commercial business such as an office or store, but I can't know for sure. It came with the glass lamp shade shown but I don't know it this clear shade is original. I have no way of testing the lamp's functionality ... morebut have taken a lot of pictures so you can make your own determination by looking at them. It is in as found condition and has not been cleaned, The lamp has a nice perforated base designed to be placed on a shelf or table. When cleaned it should be outstanding. The brass base measures about 6" in diameter and is about 8 1/2" tall. With shade height becomes about 16" The burner(circular wick)appears to be 1 1/4" in diameter and it weighs a hefty 1 1/4 lbs. It is about 21.5 inches tall and the base is a 7-1/2" wide. The underside has an attached metal signature tag. It has great patina and although there are some marks and minor dings. Its nothing that wouldn't be expected for an old lamp. Offered for auction is this circa mid to late 1800's Blue Milk Glass converted oil lamp with replacement shade and chimney on a nice reticulated brass base. The pattern name of the font eludes me but can be found in any quality book on blue milk glass. Nice fluted top and cross hatched pattern shade compliments the color of the BMG. Frosted chimney stops the glare from a clear glass chimney. 21" to top of chimney. A lovely lady informed me that this lamp was made by Dithridge Co. and the pattern is Sunset.

This is an antique Miller Co. 31122 brass torchiere floor lamp.It was recently acquired at an estate sale.I haven't done anything to it other than wipe it off with a damp cloth.I'm selling this lamp in antique"as is" condition and with no shade.The lamp does work as seen in the photos.I'm not sure of the exact age.But it dates back to the early 1900's. This lamp does have a darkened patina and some tarnish from age.But I think it could be cleaned up quite nicely.There doesn't appear to be any major scratches or gouges,but does have a couple of small scuffs. The lamp stands 52" tall.It is 10 1/2" in diameter at the base and weighs nearly 11 lbs. This could be a nice antique piece for your home.Thank you for looking
