AMAZING Art Glass Antique Lamp Shade Metal Base Irridescent Quezal? Loetz? LOOK!
Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. If it is a replacement, ... moreit was done many years ago. NOTE The four spokes supporting the base for the shade may be able to be tightened. This part moves slightly if shade is touched. But I have no problem using this lamp at all. Remember. Though, that there is some play in this part. From base bottom to top of socket. Antique Art Deco Bronze Woman Lamp with Marble Base and Art Glass Shade
This lamp has been sitting in my grandmother's home ever since purchased in the 1930's and has sat in a niche in her stairwell for as long as I can remember. Now I inherited it. Had it rewired. The original cloth wiring was in bad shape. It has its original, very delicate glass shade which is held on by two screws(as seen in pictures) Lamp is fragile and glass is only held on by the two screws. It is in wonderful condition for its age. It was purchased in France and it is French in origin. I have yet to see another one like it. Lamp is 15" tall by 7" wide by 7" deep. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful. Antique(c1940s) lamp. This French or Italian lamp features a large. figural, brass cherub/putti as the lamp column. The putti is carrying a large, bulbous, glass urn/vessel. The glass is exceptional. It features a swirled design with interior white painted finish. The paint technique is somewhat splattered and is quite striking. The lamp base features a brass bottom with an upper marble section which is white with gray veining. This large. Beautifully designed Art Nouveau slag glass lighted base lamp(circa 1910-1915) has a lovely textured vine with berries motif. The shade and base have an opalescent carmel glass with no damage. The base has 3 panels, 2 bell pull chain sockets and a push pull switch at the bottom for lighting the base. Bright and shiny Electric Floor Lamp by FENSIN- unusual with respect both to design and condition! The manufacturer's label by Fensin which shows Chicago 21. Illinois began in 1943 for large cities. The veined marble-like disk above the base softens the brilliance of the nickel/chrome finish- which appears to be in very good shape. It has a swing arm on the top and the plastic arm on the top has one end which takes a four prong bulb and the other side is empty. Antique Art Deco Figural Elephant Cast Iron Lamp Base. Measures 9 1/8" tall to the top of the bulb holder X 8" tall to the top of the metal bulb holder. Marked on the bottom: P A. for Plume& Atwood in Thomaston Connecticut who started in business in 1871. Heavy cast base with a bronze or brass finish. Trunk up Elephant in a walking step with one foot raised. The base resembles a rock or stone ground with tinges of Red. The Elephant holds a round beaded disk in his trunk that attaches to the flame or lotus like open top. This holds an old paper covered lamp socket with faux candle drip and a Bakelite knob. The original wall plug. Which is included, but has been removed(for safety sake) is a very old rubber plug. The copper shank is included which when recorded will hold the bulb socket. It's just under 14" at pictured. The glass shaft has chips were it connects to the base as in the photos. The mirror has a chip as in the photo but it's on the underneath side(don't know how that happens) The top side you feels is not chipped. The mirror has brass candlewick edge and an ornate brass center band. The base is also footed. The lamp works! STAINED ART GLASS "DRAGONFLY SHADE" ON "MOSAIC TILE" BASE~TABLE LAMP
WELCOME TO MY EBAY! OFFERED for SALE is a beautiful and gorgeous"DRAGONFLY" stained art glass shade resting on a very unique"MOSAIC TILE" base. The SHADE is of high quality art glass finely handcrafted and hand-rolled. The USA made shade measures 14" in width. Approximately 5 1/2" in height with a 2" aperture. It has an array of vibrant colors of blues(light and dark) reds, purples, yellow and teal. Each of the six repeats of the design contains from five to six jewels, two large and three or four smaller ones. There is a fine bronze filagree applied over the wings. No jewels are used in the eyes of the dragonflies. There are bright red jewels around the shade. The"MOSAIC TILE" base is a casted brass with bronze applied finish and six blue jewels around the top of column. The table lamp is 18 1/2" ... morein height and the platform measures 8" wide. Antique Rembrandt Art Nouveau Electric Table Lamp with Artemis Studios Lampshade. Description: Cast iron table lamp has a duplex bulb socket cluster or twin light bulbs. Lamp is made of gold colored cast iron and bright polished solid brass sockets. Upper portion of lamp body is solid brass whereas bottom section is cast iron. Oval off white lampshade is marked Artemis Studion. Shade is clot covered and measures 11 inches tall. Bottm oval rim measures 16 inches by 10-1/4 inches wide. One fatboy light bulb socket is P&S and one is Arrow brand. Both porcelain lamp sockets work properly. The inside of the P&A brand socket is marked Pat 1915. Metal parts are in great condition with no chips. Splits, or cracks. The gold colored paint is fresh and is near mint. Brass bulb sockets are bright but there is some light tarnish. Weighs 8 pounds. Sturdy baluster form. Total height of the lamp base is 26 3/4 inches. Width of the base is 5 5/8 inches. Lamp is in good working condition. Pull on and off switches work easy. Some corrosion on the inside of the base of the lamp. Needs a felt liner for the base before using on any furniture surface. This lamp base is something I picked up from a Estate Sale. The only thing I know about it. Is what research I've done& what markings are on the lamp, itself. On the plug it reads( Made in the USA Pat# 3408618) which tells me that at least the plug was made in the late 1960's) but could of been replaced along with the cord? It has the marking( Made in Italy) on the inside of the base of the lamp, when the felt backing was pulled back. The lamp measures: approx. 1930's Art Deco Handel Lamp Base
Up for sale is a beautiful art deco Handel lamp from the 20's-30's. This lamp measures in at approximately 22 inches tall and the lamp looks to be in pretty good condition. The cord is present but is partially disconnected from the lamp so I could not plug it in to test it. Their is no chips. Cracks, or pieces missing and the metal on the base and top of the black center is beautifully decorated. The felt on the bottom has come half off and the logo is on the bottom.
