NOVERDY Wonderful 1930 french art deco chandelier in nickel plated bronze holding a thick and large shade in moulded-pressed glass by the glass factory Noverdy from Dijon France. Both canopy and shade representing pine cones. A wellknown pattern of Noverdy(short for nos verreries de Dyon.our glass factory of Dijon) A small company producing a line of high quality glasses both under their own name as well as for the verrerie de vosges. Same era as Muller, Schneider, Degué, Daum, etc. This hard to find model especialy in uncoloured glass, I saw pink amber purple and brown toned ones more often, is as far as I know always unsigned. The suspension has a drop of 37.5 cm(14-3/4" and has a diameter of 40 cm(15-3/4" If you have a high ceiling I can place longer pipes to increase the drop. The chandelier is in very good condition. ART DECO HARLEQUIN DANCERS PIEROT LAMP GERMANY INTRICATE DETAIL c. 1930'S
I am selling a beautiful hand painted lamp featuring two Harlequin dancers. This lamp is 6.5" tall excluding the fixture. The detailed painting on this lamp is exquisite and the faces of the dancers are so serene. The design of this lamp is very intricate. The gentleman is presenting a rose to his partner. The lamp has a fixture for a light bulb and it works fine. For safety reasons I would rewire the lamp because there is s piece of electrician tape on several inches of the cord. This lamp is number and marked Germany just below the cord hole in the back. There is a very slight chip on the base of this lamp to the right of the cord hole. Which I have pictured. Sweet Pastel Yellow Glass Headboard Lamp Shade 1930's
Sweet P ale Pastel Yellow Shade 8 3/4" Long X 41/2" Tall Profile 3 5/8" To fit bottom style c lips P alest yellow underpainted glass with a big luscious bow on top. Sweet pleated skirt with rope edge. This shade is absolutely charming but is not in immaculate condition. The photos were taken in bright daylight and it look much brighter yellow in the photos than in life. It' s more of a cream with a tint of pale yellow. It's a shade for a bed reading lamp. wonder if someone chainsmoked their way through all 36 Ellery Queen books. It sniffs ok to me. Hard to say. Anyway, w ith the muted color an d the assorted scratches. Dings, quirks and quarks it's actually a terrific candidate for 1920's-19 40's shabby cottage style. Would look perfect with a prairie quilt on the bed! The shade is for a reading l amp that ... moreclips onto a bed's headboard. It' s in fair vintage condition consider ing many years of use. There are no cracks. There is a small ch ip( not sharp) and a few nibbles along the inside bottom edge. There are places where the underpainting has been scratched. The detergents and cleansers today will whip off th e underpainting faster than a New York Minute. Soaking in the sink produces the same sad resu lts. And I really really have a few words for the guy who said soaking in Co ke takes off rust spots.The best method we've found is the simplest. Just a damp soft cloth and a gentle wipe inside and out. I believe hand painted flower table lamp in great shape with no damage noticed! this lamp is unmarked as jefferson used paper labels and most fell off or were removed when purchased as jefferson put them on the side of lamps instead of bottoms as most other companies did. This is an original ca. 1920s-1930s Art Deco industrial style desk lamp. Made of chrome and milk glass with a toggle-type switch. The lamp stands approximately 11 ½” high and the base is 5” across. The neck of gooseneck lamps is curved and the design is useful for twisting the lighting to any side. This feature lets you turn the light to any direction you want. Vintage Mid Century Modern 1930's Russel Wright Art Deco Copper Table Lamp
For your perusal: A very rare 1930's Russel Wright Copper Lamp. It stands 22" tall and weighs 5 1/2 lbs. There are no dents. And the copper looks to be in great shape. It would shine up nicely(if that's the way you like it) but I'm selling the lamp the way I found it. The lamp has a switch problem so it needs to be rewired. In addition. If I was keeping it, I would purchase a new harp with a heigth that is about 2 inches less than the current height. I just feel it would look better aesthetically. I'm starting the bidding at $499. Up for consideration is this Amazing Antique Art Deco Lamp with Dancing Girl circa 1930's. Floral motifs and art deco designs frame the pretty dancing girl playing with brightly colored balls. Lamp is made of painted chalkware with a frosted glass back. Standard light socket is recessed into the base with the original cloth cord and plug. Front is adorned with green. Blue, yellow and red paint. Silver and golds highlight the Girl in all her glory! Glass back plate is frosted with a blue paint that is displaying some crackling and has a few small scratches. A wonderful nickel plated solid brass art deco chandelier with 3 beautiful opalescent shades. This model is always unsigned yet most likely to be a production of Ezan a French glass factory from the town of Ezanville near Paris. The shades show beautiful tones of blue and amber depending the angle of the light shining on them as we know from the best opalescent glasses like Sabino Verlys or Ezan pieces. The chandelier is in very good condition. I have renickeled the mounting. One cup has a tiny chip on the inside of teh rim. Another cup has 3 small chips on the inside. Non of them are disturbing and won´t be noticed once the shades are mounted. The chandelier is rewired and has european E14 sockets. Me and my sister-in-law go to estate sales together and we found this adorable baby or doll head lamp. They said it was from about the late 1930's. It works great and has the little light included. It feels like some sort of plaster mold. It is original. About the 1940's they also made a porcelain one. Gorgeous Antique Stained Glass Table Lamp ~ dates early Mid Century ~ Beautiful green colored stained glass shade that has river-glass texture on the inside- each alternating lighter-cream colored mint-green glass tear-drop panels has honey colored stains that are all sauntered with a decorative leaf-style with what I believe is brass leading. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS~ This lamp has a mint green ceramic base with a brass metal base that measures about 4" squared. There is an ornate white bird appliqued on ceramic base~ Very lovely! A unique small desktop lamp believed to be from the 1930`s era with a lighted neck on the base. The globe is solid brass and is lightly delineated with longitude and latitude bands. The ring surrounding the globe slides to the side to reveal a compartment that goes into the core of the globe. The lady I got it from said her Grandfather used to keep old coins in the compartment. The brass globe is tarnished and could be highly polished if desired. The vintage patina gives the piece a nice old appearance. Antique 1930's Ford Two lite head lamp
Head lamp bucket shows marking of"Ford Two lite Head Lamp" Dimensions are: Depth approx. 9" not including chrome ring) Diameter at lens approx. 8" Weight at approx. 4 lbs. Overall condition is decent. The bucket has a dent(see photos) and some pitting from rust. The chrome ring has some dings, and shows out of round. The mounting arm is free, and has good movement with tension for stability. The lens is missing, as is the small bulb. Large bulb not tested. Interior of bucket shows surface rust and paint. This lite would be a good candidate for restoration on a vintage auto, or used in a rod application. Would require rewire and possible bulb mounting updates. Reflector would need polishing or re-chrome.

Edgard Brandt& Daum freres A wonderful authentic 1920-1930 french art deco lamp by the famous Parisian blacksmith Edgar Brandt. The forged base is signed E.Brandt and holds a large shade by Daum. Note how detailed the ginko biloba leaves are hammered out of rigid iron. See the craftsmanship in every small detail of the base. This model exist in several sizes and was sold by Brandt with both alabaster shades and coloured glass paste shades by Schneider or by Daum. The last picture of my ad shows the base represented in the 1926 Edgar Brandt catalogue. We can't find a high quality Brandt on ebay every month. The height of the lamp is 40.5 cm(15-15/16" The shade has a diameter of 15.7 cm(6-3/16" It's in excellent condition. The lamp is rewired with twisted rayon covered cord. New plug and switch. The colors of the of the flowers and leaves are NOT faded and the lamp is beautiful. It stands 16 inches tall and measures 22 1/2 inches across at the bottom. The lamp has two sockets and it works great. It is sometimes described as a slag lamp. I will not ship this antique lamp because the glass is delicate and it is very heavy(40-50 lbs) If you buy it you must pick it up in Albuquerque. New Mexico. I offer a two week return policy. Up for sale is a beautiful art deco Handel lamp from the 20's-30's. This lamp measures in at approximately 22 inches tall and the lamp looks to be in pretty good condition. The cord is present but is partially disconnected from the lamp so I could not plug it in to test it. Their is no chips. Cracks, or pieces missing and the metal on the base and top of the black center is beautifully decorated. The felt on the bottom has come half off and the logo is on the bottom. It spreads a nice warm toned light. The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri took over in 1917. They had there own shop in Paris yet primarily were a wholesale selling their lamps to shops all over France Europe and the States. Together with Hettier& Vincent they became the largest producer of French art deco lighting in the early 30ies. Petitot produced precious fixtures in high quality heavy bronze with shades from the best French glass manufactorers such as Muller freres. The chandelier on offer has a shade signed Muller freres Luneville. Muller made a range of models with this' waterdrop' ... moredecoration. From small 8" cups to this very large and rare bowl which has a diameter of 44 cm(17-10/32" Normaly french art deco bowls have a diameter of 35cm(13-3/4" The chandelier is 45cm(17-11/16" high and the heavy canopy has a diameter of 24 cm(9-7/16" The bronze mounting is not signed but I show you some pictures of a 1930 catalogue of a the shop Bazerque in Toulouse France. The catalogue has 24 pages that only show lamps sconces and chandeliers made by Petitot. The chandelier in excellent condition. I have renickeled and patinated the fixture. It comes newly wired. Ready to place. It holds a new european E27 socket. For Australia the UK or France I can place B22/BC bayonet cap one. I will rewire the lamp for the US and Canada with a new US standard socket. NOVERDY Signed french art deco chandelier in nickel plated bronze or solid brass. French chandeliers with just one bowl are easy to find. But almost all of them have miserable fixtures often of cheap poor quality. And those with high quality mountings done in solid brass and matching the pattern of the shade creating a wonderful harmony of glass and fixture are not that common at all. Yet here I found another one again! This chandelier holds a beautiful shade in white frosted pressed glass signed NOVERDY France deposé. Noverdy was a glass manufactory in Dijon France(short for NOuvelles VERreries de DIJon) The chandelier is in very good condition. I have renickeled and patinated the fixture. SEVB : PAIR OF 1930 FRENCH ART DECO WALL SCONCES ......... lamp bronze appliques
SEVB A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in bronze or solid brass holding glass panels in moulded pressed glass both signed SEVB for"Société d'Exploitation des Verreries de Bagneaux" A small glass factory from the 20ies in the village of Bagneaux little south from Paris. Mid 30ies. After the death of Leopold Appert in 1931, SEVB merged with Appert frères and became the Société d'exploitation des verreries de Bagneaux et Appert frères réunies. That's why also some models shades can be found having the signature SEVBA. The sconces are 26 cm long(10-1/4" and 23 cm high(9-1/16" Depth 9.5cm(3-3/4" I have cleaned the fixtures and protected it with an invisible layer against oxidation. The two panels are in good condition. Like almost all french artd eco ... moreglass panels they have some chips to the rim. Hidden by the mountings. The frosted partly polished moulded-pressed shades may appear colorless on my pictures but in reality the glasses are slightly greyish violet toned. Very subtle and beautiful. The sconces are rewired. They have their old B22 bayonet sockets for which 220 volt bulbs will be added. For the US Canada or Brasil I will place US candelabra base sockets.
