Antique Vintage 1920's Vaseline? Green Slag Glass Akro Agate Houze Floor Lamp

We have 6 listed this week.My Great Uncle owned a lamp shop in DC for almost 50 years. From the late 30's until the early 80's. The lamps we have listed this week came from his estate. My aunt, his daughter, recently passed away and we took these parts from her attic. Her Dad had strung these parts in order on a piece of wire and had them hanging in his shop. After he passed my aunt brought them home and hung them in her attic. About 10 years ago she gave us a strand of these parts. We found a threaded pole here on ebay and took the pieces ... moreoff of the wire, sliding them down the pole in the order they came off of the wire and we have had a beautiful slag glass floor lamp ever since. My aunt has recently passed away and these parts came from her attic.This one has what looks to me to be a green vaseline type glass incorporated into its design one of which has chips as shown but the others are fine. The cast iron base and steel parts had been stripped of their paint and or plating years ago and they got rusty so I took my wire wheel and went over them but you'll still need to brush them again before painting however most of the prep work is done. The base is really rusty on the under side but I cleaned the threads up and they look fine. There are 2 matching brass tubes. I polished a small area of one of the tubes so you can see what they'll look like once cleaned up. I do not have any sockets and of course the pole is missing too but the threads in the base look fine. I laid these parts out in a line on the floor and as far as I can tell there are enough to make about a 54" tall lamp. Rod is not included. Thank you for viewing. This is an original ca. 1920s-1930s Art Deco industrial style desk lamp. Made of chrome and milk glass with a toggle-type switch. The lamp stands approximately 11 ½” high and the base is 5” across. Neat Art Deco styling. No maker’s mark that we can find. CONDITION: Some spots on the chrome finish, should clean and polish up nicely; lamp works but the cord is very worn and cracked and would need to be replaced. RARE!~1920's Dillard Smith Hanging Gone with the Wind Library Lamp~Signed~Grapes
I HAVE SOME FABULOUS COLLECTIBLES AND FLEA MARKET TREASURES FOR YOUR HOME DÉCOR THAT I HAVE BROUGHT BACK FROM A RECENT BUYING TRIP SO CHECK BACK OFTEN AND PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITES. ~Wow! this antique 1920’s hanging Gone with the Wind Library lamp is so amazing. I have included a lot of photos because this light is far to incredible not to show every angle. This has all the Victorian charm you would expect from the Dillard M Smith Co. The hardware is all wrought iron. With 3 chains that meet in the center just above the 14 inch diameter shade. There is a decorative smoke bell at the top along with the matching wrought iron collar that sets loosely on top of the shade. There are many tear drop crystal prisms that adorn the bottom ring all the way around. Lastly the shade is Drop Dead Gorgeous! There are 4 raised/embossed grape cluster ... moreand leaves that wrap around the entire shade. The colors are even more beautiful in person. The bottom of the shade is signed Dillard M Smith Co. which is shown in the last photo. The Library Lamp measures about 18 inches tall to the top of the canopy. This is a ceiling mount style. The 14 inch shade when it sets in the ring is about 18 inches in total diameter. The condition is absolutely amazing for a lamp of this age. The shade is free of any chips, cracks, scratches or paint loss. I don’t think one as complete as this one will surface again for quite some time if at all. Made of mostly blown crystal glass(maybe Murano) from the base all the way to the top of lamp. Beautiful glass prisms. Stands about 72" tall. Lamp works perfect takes a large mogul style 3 way bulb. Looks beautiful when lit up it spreads a beautiful array of light across the ceiling. Lamp is in good condition. There are a few of the top curved pieces that are loose they are held in place by plaster sockets which is how they did it back then. From a local estate. A beautiful vintage"Blue Slag Glass and Metal End Of The Trail Lamp Shade. Nice detail and eye appeal. Shade dates from the late 19teens to the 1920's. Six identical panels make up the shade. Each panel is held in place with a soldered brass holder. The metal design of the outer shade appears to be spelter finished with a bronze look. Marked on the inside of the shade top with what appears to be a series of letters and numbers"HB ... more618 595 411. No other marks that I could find. Measures approx. 7 1/2" high. Each panel base measures approx. 7" and each panel top measures approx. 2 3/4. Width of shade from flat side to flat side is 12" and from angle point to angle point is 14 1/4. No damage to any of the glass panels. No apparent damage to the metal parts of the shade that I could see. This is a very heavy shade. It needs a heavy metal base to appropriately hold and show the shade. A great item for your collection. I could find only one of these shades offered in the past six years. Antique Moonstone Boudoir Lamp 1920's Electric Rewired
I have for auction a 1920's moonstone boudoir lamp. The shade and the base are both made of moonstone. Both are octagonal shaped. Very pretty little lamp. White moonstone has some(maybe 2 or 3) flea bites on the base. Has original finial. The lamp measures about 10-1/2" from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial. Absolutely gorgeous 1920's Art Nouveau/ Deco natural nautilus shaped seashell electric lamp. Beautiful natural Mother Of Pearl and peach coloration. Exceptional muted light. 1920's Spanish Revival Stained Glass Sailing Ship Table Lamp
Check out my! My Dad. Mike, was the collector of a diverse variety of items. He spent his whole recreational life hunting down the treasures and in this case put it inside a plastic bag and tucked it in the corner. No information on this lamp from his source but it may provide for your interest. It is as pictured with limitations noted above. It appears to be a 1920's Spanish Revival Sailing ship table lamp. The theme is a sailing ship in full sail on the high seas of a wave. The wave form pedestal sits on an oval shape base. Petals surround the two candle sockets. It has what appears to be the original bronze and polychrome finish. The circular stain glass center is lovely in color and condition appears fine. The lamp is 13" tall with a 6 1/2"oval base.

French Gilt Bronze Antique Hanging Candelabrum[Antique Chandelier] Late 19th to Early 20th Century Item# 130108SYG12 This is a stunning work in the French Empire style from the late 19th to early 20th Century. Probably c. 1890-1920. Crisply founded and cast with a brilliant gilded surface, the form is highly attractive in the finely balanced details. The six arms of the candelabra trumpet with acanthus foliage flowing above and below in large exaggerated swirls, each arm swelling into the overflowing apex beneath the well of each candle. The lamp is electrified with plastic faux candles in each arm, respectfully wired with as minimal intrusion to the form as possible. Three arms support the hanging of the candelabra, with linked chain rising from the flowing foliage above each of these three arms- one arm has a slight upward bend as a result ... moreof years supporting this weight and at some point it should be re-soldered for strength, though currently it does not cause any problem with the structure. The bottom of the lamp terminates in a large pineapple form, the top cresting in a magnificent flame finial. We very infrequently come across hanging candelabra of this form that we like- this piece is an absolute treasure. In rare condition and of very fine quality. This is a piece that will set your home apart. It should be examined by your local lamp dealer for rewiring, cleaning and strengthening of the arm, but is a strike-point piece that is well worth the investment for a lifetime of enjoyment. Antique Mission Arts/Crafts Lamp with Slag Glass Shade Around 1920's
This is an old one but it has problems so read the description. All but one of the large slag glass panels on the shade has a crack. 2 of the panels have several cracks. The lower green panels and the upper small white panels are good. All panels are tight and the frame is tight with no cracks. The base looks good with no chips.Cracks or dents but there is a post on the inside bottom which I think should have held in some sort of counterweight. Base is 7 1/2" square so it is actually quite stable without the weight. Base looks to be brass that has been dusted with greenish paint way back when. Finish is pretty even over the entire lamp. Both pull chain sockets work. Wiring is the old cloth covered and should be replaced. Base stands 22 1/4" tall to where the shade sets-about 24" to the top of the finial. Up for sale is a circa 1920 Bradley& Hubbard floor lamp. It is in perfect working order with pull chains and double sockets and a 22" fabric shade with hanging tassels. Sockets are stamped"pat pending 1907" It has the B&H hallmark on the top and has a# 358B on the base. I believe it to be cast brass as it is very heavy and a magnet will not stick to it. It stands approx 67" tall to the tip of the finial and has exquisite detail. An absolutely stunning piece of early American history to accent any room. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy blue glass pull on the end of the chain. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is decorated with 30 strands of crystal lustres. The lamp has a gold finish. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. 1920's Flash Cranberry Glass Lamp with Marble Base & Shade
Topped with a round cranberry finial. This is a circa 1920's flash cranberry glass lamp. The square base is made of marble and is felt lined on the bottom. Sitting on this base is a brass column. The cranberry glass has a golden iridescence to it- very lovely. The Victorian style off white ecru shade is set off by silk fringe. The lamp is in good working order. It is still outfitted with the original electrical cord which is fraying. You may want to have rewired. The lamp stands 24" tall; the finial adds about 1/4" to the height. Antique 1920's Green Onyx w/cast iron base double pull chain lamp

This rare green onyx lamp measures 25" to the top of the finial with a 5 1/4 octagon base, the lamp was tested and works great, both pull chains work, on the balls of the lamp the is a chip out of each one, they are very smooth and hard to see, i am not sure if they were manufactured this way or dropped, some discoloration on metal due to age, the feet to this lamp to me looks like a lions foot, any questions please feel free to email me, thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Antique 1920's Double Socket Lamp Base Miller? Pittsburgh? Parts Repair
This double socket lamp dates to the 1920's or thereabouts. Its either a Miller or a Pittsburgh. I've seen this same pattern that appears on the base of this lamp on other signed lamps. This one is marked on the base but is under the weight and I could not get the weight off nor can I see through the weight to see what it reads. Untested as the plug is missing but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as the pull chains snap crisply. The original paint on this one is in pretty nice condition but the vase shaped piece just above the base has 2 dents and the paint is scratched on that part. 1920's RARE Pattern Bronze ALADDIN Muncie Bankers Desk Piano Lamp w/ Metal Shade
Here is an antique ALADDIN"The Wonderful Lamp" of Muncie Indiana. Piano, desk or Bankers lamp, comes complete with the original metal shade, no cracks nor damage at all, to the shade and none to the metal base. The lamp is patterned, I assume acid etched with a random but beautiful pattern, very rare and no 2 are alike, I have the taller version of this lamp as well. The last one of these I saw sell was at a live auction and it went for $200. I'm asking far less and this one is in better over all condition as well. Original socket retains the Aladdin sticker. This stands 7" high. Shade is 9" wide X 5" deep X 3.5 tall. Wiring seems fine, however, this is very old, so getting it checked out is always wise.
