The frame ... moreis made of a brass tinted, magnetic metal. It's been hand pierced with crackled glass beads glued in the holes. A few of the beads around the top are missing. I have six that were found with the light and just need to be re-glued. The lamp comes with the 11 feet 5 inch chain it was found with. The cord measures just over 16 feet. The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and remarkable pewter and crystal chandelier! I’m uncertain as to the exact age of the chandelier. It might be very late 1930s. I believe it’s 1940s. I’m certain it’s not earlier or later. I’m certain. Too, as to its beauty. And rarity. I’ve never offered a chandelier like it. All the metal components appear to have a pewter finish. Nice. Each arm has distinctive crystals. The hurricane shades are particularly lovely; that they remain in situ is frankly amazing. I also like the expressive glass stem. The chandelier is clearly modeled after an Argand lamp. From Wikipedia: The Argand lamp was new to Thomas Jefferson in Paris in 1784. Which according to him gave off"a light equal to six or eight candles. These new lamps. While more complex and costly than the previous primitive oil lamps, were first adopted by the well-to-do but soon spread to the middle classes and eventually the less well-off as well. Argand lamps were manufactured in a great variety of decorative forms and quickly became popular in America. This fixture is. Obviously, a delightfully faux Argand lamp chandelier. The chain is original. As is the ceiling canopy. The exposed wire is cloth-covered like the original. I would say the the chandelier. At 17-1/2-inches wide. Is medium in scale. To me. Here is an antique Emeralite hanging light.With cone shaped shade that could also be used on a b ankers or desk lamp. Glass is perfect. No crack, chips or fleabites. Fire-polished bottom rim. Smooth as a drinking glass rim. Some of the silver paint that once stated Emeralite is still there but mainly worn off. Beautiful brass hanging frame. This will be shipped wired. You have the opportunity to own this Vintage Gilt Brass 5 Light Swag Goth Lamp with Hanging Prisms Hollywood Regency. A fantastic lamp from the mid twentieth century with lines that are retro to the 20’s and 30’s. Elegance that is not found in the newer lights. Light it up in 1.4, or 5 lights. This lamp is very large. Hanging 42” from the top of the fixture to the bottom of the last prism. Comes with a 12” cord. The switch is on the body of the top piece. It is about 10” across the top piece. The 5 hanging lights are about 8” from the top of the rim to the bottom of the prisms. There is some tarnish on the top outer lamp and a small flake of the plate has come off of the bottom light(see photos 6& 7) Some prisms are missing but they are not hard to find or replace. Antique Vintage Hanging Oil Lamp Connverted Top and Bottom Light Up Brass Glass
Nice old oil lamp that was converted to electric. The top and/or bottom light up. There is a small chip to the top rim of the glass shade and very minor spots of wear to the brass. There are 18 glass prisms. It measures 10 inches wide and 20 inches high. It is set up to be wired directly to the ceiling and it hangs down 12 inches from the ceiling however you could add two chains if you wanted it to hang lower. I just hung it from a bungee cord to take pictures.

Offering for auction this beautiful working vintage/retro wrought iron hanging/swag lamp with amber glass with beautiful pattern. As the photos indicate. There is some rusting of the wrought iron- I will leave it to the new owner to restore if desired. The amber glass inserts have an etched, textured finish and are curved glass. I do not see any cracks in the amber glass. The lamp measures 21 inches long from the top ring to the bottom decorative iron. And measures 17 inches wide at the widest point. 1893 Rochester Mammoth Oil Kerosene Brass Hanging Lamp w Iron Hanger Description: Lamp metal font section embossed brass. Hanger bracket appears to be a combination of cast and wrought iron. A similar lamp was advertised as a Number 10 in the 1893 catalog issued by the Rochester Lamp Company. New York. Good condition overall but there is a dent in the one side of the fuel tank. Dent is mostly hidden when inserted into the hanger. More details below. All glass pieces are in fine condition with no damage. Frosted chimney measures 12 inches tall overall with a 4 inch diameter mounting area. Upper and bottom rims are both cut but the upper is way thicker than the bottom edge. 7 inch tall milk glass shade measures 11-3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom rim and 4.5 inches in diameter at the top. Both ends of the shade are rough cut. Similar shades ... moreand lamps were also marketed by the Royal Lamp Company. New York. The hanger is included but it's slightly different than the one illustrated in the 1893 catalog. It has some rust and flaking paint. The brass font parts are in nice original condition. There is a dent which likely needs repair prior to holding fuel. IT seems complete other than there is no wick or smoke bell. Tank section measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches from the bottom up to the fitter ring. Fitter ring has a silver colored screw that works but is may not be original. Overall measurements of the harp section with lamp font inserted is 35.5 inches. That does not include the 44 inches of chain. Has not been restored. Polished, or converted to electricity. Vintage Tole Hanging Swag Light - Tole Flower Ceiling Light Lamp 1960's
This lamp is in GREAT condition. A few sign of age with some minor chipping or scratches. Flowers are lightly airbrushed. The finial at the base of the beveled white globe is missing but easily replaceable. App. 14 inches tall from the round finial at the top to the base and 15 inches in diameter at its widest(midsection) The five arms that make the globe have hooks at the base. Picture 4 shows the hooks the best. That is wear you will find most the minor chipping. Like I said overall GREAT condition. Let me know if you need more pics. Six candle style lights and a brass trim around the large amber shade. It is about 15" from the top of shade to bottom of light, then about 14" across the globe and also has a 13" chain. This lamp is just stunning and then when you turn it on it is really beautiful. The edge of the globe/ shade is trimmed with a brass scalloped edge. Beautiful vintage hanging electric light fixture made of pierced brass. This was probably purchased in the Izmir area of Turkey or in Dehli India in the early 1970's. It works perfectly via plug in. Aged patina which gives it an old charm. I took multiple pictures in different lights which resulted in lots of colors! Measures 17 inches from very top of the hanger to the tip of the base. Antique Frosted Glass Ceiling Hanging Light Shade - Excellent and pretty
This is a lovely frosted antique light shade that fits over a ceiling light. It is supposed to be hung"inverted" thus. Most of the photos are what you would see if you were looking up at it. There are three holes in the top of the shade where chains would be inserted for hanging. I have seen them in front entrance doorways, bedrooms, etc in late early 1900s homes and they are usually hung close to the ceiling.again, with the wide(interior) part facing up. Very pretty and unique. I bought it at an estate sale for my ceiling light but because my light had been modified, it would not work. Vintage Red Ruby Ceiling Pulldown Light Lamp with Flute Found this really nice Vintage Ruby Red Pulldown Ceiling Light at estate. It is in nice shape overall. The glass is red. The metal looks to be a mixed metal with brass plating. The glass globe on the bottom is in excellent condition. No chips, no scratches off the red. The shade on top is in fair to good condition. The top rim of the shade has a 1" chip and another 1/2" chip in another spot. There is also some small specs where you can see the clear glass through the red- not noticeable unless your right on the shade. The bottom portion of the shade is smooth, the top has the flaws I mentioned above and is rougher from the cut when made. The metal brass plated ring is in good condition. It does have wear from age, but no damage. Electrically sound, with the cord and roll type ... moreswitch in good shape. There is no makers mark. The only mark on the light base is FPC 1350. If you are interested in two of these. I have another one listed, I could try and combine shipping if you want, or separately, whatever is less expensive to ship safely. The measurement are as follows: Height of Lamp with flute is 20 1/2" Without the flute is 17 1/2" The shade is 14" tall. 5" top opening, and 10" bottom opening where it fits into the metal ring. The flute is 10 1/4" tall The metal brass plated ring is 10 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall. There is an approximate 15" drop off the chain from the ceiling to the lamp. Then there is another 100 feet of chain and cord. Overall. As you can see, it is a very nice lamp. It still can be cleaned up with the brass plating, you can also put another bulb in for a dimmer lighting. I have a bright white light in there.
