These ... morecame out of a Victorian house in central Florida that is being remodeled. We were told these date back to the 1940's. Each andiron is composed of a top brass finial that is attached to a grooved oval marble section. The mid section. Also brass, is pear shaped and rests on two claw-footed brass legs. The actual log holders are heavy cast iron made to withstand log weight and high temperature. These beauties are in excellent vintage condition with only the expected signs of time. We partially cleaned one to show the beauty and brightness of the brass but more cleaning is advisable. The brass is still bright but can be made shinier with a little brass cleaner. A tooth brush and some white, cotton cloths. All the marble is intact with no chips or cracks. However. These marble sections appear to have been made out of 3 sections of marble. They are very sturdy, unique and lovely. Measurements are: 20.5" tall X 16" long X 9.5" wide. The marble sections are 3.5" high X 7.25" diameter. The top brass finials are 3.5" In order to pack these securely for shipping. They will be disassembled but putting them back together will require only a couple of minutes. My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The piece stands 32 1/2" high and shade has a diameter of 20" marble base is 12" x 6 1'2" Great line with this very rare Stiffel lamp one of the hardest to find. With mounted lift off candy or nut dish. There is a stiffel label as per photo 6. Faded somewhat. The shade which is orginal has some old tape marks inside and some paper tears all pretty much on the inside, I have the photos shown all sides of shade. This piece was aquired from a home with a substantial collection of high end pieces and is not often seen. We have seen one table version of this piece but never the impressive floor version. The lamp has dual sockets with original chain pulls and is constructed of solid brass and brushed stainless steel. The Italian gray vein marble center table, is 5/8" thick. Antique Victorian Adjustable Bridge Arm Bronze Brass Table Lamp Marble Base
This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. This is pair of antique amber flash cut glass lamps. The lamps are identical and stand straight up(unlike my picutre which was taken on an angle) The glass part of the lamp looks like the old oil lamps and was probably the same pattern and one of the first electric lights. Both are in excellent condition with no nicks. Crack, or crazing on the glass. The bottom of the lamps is marble and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches square. The lamps are about 15 inches high and the glass portion is 5 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches across at the widest spot. These are a rare find in such excellent condition. A beautiful brass/bronze table lamp in the French Regency style. Heavy and ornate. It sits on a salmon colored marble base with 4 dolphin feet. All metal parts are non-magnetic. The body of the lamp is an urn with an ornate floral design on both the front and the back. The urn has two Greek Key handles. Measuring 7-1/2” from handle to handle. Above the urn is a brass column holding a plastic candle sleeve and ending in Levinton double sockets with pull chains. The rectangular marble base has a center brass medallion decorated with scrolls and an Acanthus leaf. The numbers 3. 10, 5, 4, and 7 have been scratched into the underside ... moreof the marble. Found at an estate sale a really unusual 1950s 60s faux fur solid brass and marble retro lamp in great condition. Works perfectly. I can't find a makers mark any where. The detail is fantastic! Extremely nice sparkly crystals that have a blue iridescent shine to them. Very very fancy! Please write me at anytime for more photos or questions. Solid black marbleized lower base. I can't find any breaks. Cracks or chips to the solid brass at all. I don't sell lamps so I hope I have explained enough about the lamp. Beautiful Vintage Solid (30 lb) Marble and Brass Standing Floor Electric Lamp
You are bidding on a beautiful marble and brass floor lamp. Very very heavy piece weighing almost 30 pounds. Lamp itself measures from top of harp to bottom of base 62" height base measures 11" square. The very top part is a hard plastic but the rest is solid marble and brass. Due to the age of the lamp the finish on the marble is flaking off but an easy fix. The base itself has no cracks that you can feel from the outside there are some streaking that looks like it it could be a crack but its inner and this would have to be a manufacturer flaw but again it could just be the streaks in the marble itself. The marble on the top of the base does have a crack. But its not a thru and thru, the piece cracked but is still stable on the base itself) The sides of the marble on the base looks like it has some discoloration from probably the ... moreglue they used to hold the pieces together but shows no cracking. As I previously said the discoloration is mainly the top coat over the marble on the base flaking off. I probably went overboard with the description but I want buyer to be aware of any and all flaws. None of these flaws hurts the integrity of this lamp it is absolutely beautiful. The shade will not come with the lamp it does have a rip in it. For the utmost protection I will have the lamp professionally packed and a special box made for it. Antique Pink Frosted Table Lamp w/Brass, Marble Base & Gold Design
Approx. 20" tall. Top is 6" in diameter. Marble base approx. 5 1/2" diameter. Heavy brass pieces have patina consistent with their age. Lamp was rewired about 60 years ago. Some of the inner frosting is missing(see last 2 pictures) almost looks like part of the design. Some spacers and the harp holder are steel the rest is brass. I don't know much about the lamp, only that it belonged to an aunt who always bought nice and expensive things.

The green marble is very pretty with nice veining& a finished edge. Brass medallions encircle the top of the lamp above the bows and floral swags. The lamp is marvellously vintage chipped& looks awesome! The lamp shade holder is brass, fitted for a globe style shade. The fitting is 2 1/4" across and has all screws. You could use a lamp shade fixture, the type that clamps onto the light bulb then has a screw piece that sticks up from the clamp which you are able to screw a normal style lamp shade onto the lamp, if you don't have a globe. Antique 18" Brass Pedestal & White Marble Base Oil Lamp kerosene fleurs
Up for bids Antique Brass and Marble Base Pedestal Oil Lamp Stands 18 1/2" tall with 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" white marble base. Clear glass font with circles and french fleurs. The brass pedestal has small length wise creases but are not split open. see images) The marble base has a hole cut through in one side suggesting it may not be original. see images) The burner is unmarked with a 5/8" full length wick and the riser works well. One of the chimney holders. On the burner, has been replaced with a slightly smaller size. see images) The chimney is 7 3/4" tall with a 1 7/8" fitter. Both top and bottom edges are rolled.
