This auction is for an antique German Dresden or Meissen lamp. The body of the lamp is of a woven basket texture and it is adorned with pretty pink roses and green leaves and is surrounded by three cute cherubs. The marble base is also adorned with the roses. Any mark on the porcelain is obscured by the marble base. But it is obviously a very fine German porcelain. The overall height of the lamp is 18 3/4 inches. Including the pretty floral finial. The lamp has a nice elegant Victorian style. It has some wear from age and use and some losses to the original painted finish. It measures about 1 foot 4 inches high. The shade for the lighted portion would need to be about 2 and 1/2 inches across. I would date the lamp to be 55 +/ years old(dated on the underside of the base see photos) I ma not sure. Antique 13 " Figural Base Glass Font Oil/Kerosene Lamp
13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some etching on it. There are 2 cracks in the glass font. The font could be turned so that the cracks were in back. Lamp has fine detail.

Antique old paris porcelain pair of candelabra 1850's. Each stands 11 1/4" high. 7" across. They weigh 2.5 lbs. each. The figures are hand painted bisque, the candle holders are porcelain painted with gold trim. Each of the four candle holders has five prisms each. The brass holder for the candle holders fits into a hole in the back, and screws at the base. The lady has a lovely pink and blue dress. She holds a carnival mask in her right hand. There is a tiny edge along her left hand where she once held something. This does not show, unless you turn her around, and even then her hand is complete. There are no cracks or chips on her or the base she sits on. The gentleman has a lovely blue, pink, and gold pants, with a white shirt with pink bows. This is a antique pair french style metal figural table lamps. These lamps have a wonderful design. Detail, and look. The lamp with the man standing on top of a world globe and he is in robe like clothing with a red bird in his hand. The entire lamp from base to top of the finial stands approx 36" The lamp with the woman also stands approx 36" tall. She is standing on a ship like steering wheel with waves coming along side the wheel. She is also in robe like clothing and has a bird in her hand. I have looked the lamps over and I do not see any breakage. There is as you see in the pictures paints loss over the figural bodies of these great lamps. They are still wonderful in the condition that they are in or you could have them refinished. Like with all antique lighting they will need to be rewired. The woman lamp does have a plug ... morethe man lamp does not. I am unsure of the marker of these lamps because I have not found any markings. This is a great and beautiful pair of lamps and they would make a great addition to your home and collection. As with all antiques there is always normal age and usage wear. NO. 91.831 This is a terrific art deco period figural lamp. It is made of spelter metal and depicts to people of horseback. Both of them with attendants holding the horse's reins- on the left is a lady in an 18th century costume, riding side saddle and being aided by a liveried footman; on the right is a knight, in full regalia, being aided by a lesser knight who is in chainmail and a helmet. On the top is a lamp and below that is a round center medallion which has a repousse picture of ... morea castle in the medallion. Below the medallion is the word"Romance" in a ribbon cartouche. This is the type of decorative object that may have been made to come with or without a clock- and this is the rare model that came without the clock. The lamp has its original depression glass shade that had red/ orange and green reverse painted accents. The lamp is in working order, but needs a new cord. JUST A STUNNING PIECE. Antique Art Deco Figural Elephant Cast Iron Lamp Base. Measures 9 1/8" tall to the top of the bulb holder X 8" tall to the top of the metal bulb holder. Marked on the bottom: P A. for Plume& Atwood in Thomaston Connecticut who started in business in 1871. Heavy cast base with a bronze or brass finish. Trunk up Elephant in a walking step with one foot raised. The base resembles a rock or stone ground with tinges of Red. The Elephant holds a round beaded disk in his trunk that attaches to the flame or lotus like open top. This holds an old paper covered lamp socket with faux candle drip and a Bakelite knob. The original wall plug. Which is included, but has been removed(for safety sake) is a very old rubber plug. The copper shank is included which when recorded will hold the bulb socket. This is in Nice Clean Condition with No ... morechips, cracks or breaks. The finish is also in Nice Condition with minimal appropriate wear from age. The bulb socket seems usable but the paper covering has wear. ANTIQUE REVERSE PAINTED FRENCH CHINOSERIE FIGURAL LAMP OPALINE GLASS SHADE 37"
We are pleased to offer this exquisite. Antique lamp. This grand lamp(37" with shade attached) features an ornate, bronzed spelter frame with intricate details. The base of the frame has ornamental urns with bellflower swags. There are geometric circles for contrast. The lamp base houses 4, bent, ribbed glass panels which are reverse painted in a rose or chrysanthemum motif. The base is lighted separately(functions independently) from the top of the lamp and operates with one standard bulb and a pull chain on/off switch. The center section of the lamp features 3 large figural putti. This trio act as the weight bearers for the large glass lamp shade. The opaline glass shade is a light tan color on the exterior and white on the interior. The glass is fairly thick and features a deeply swirled pattern. It sits into the ornate lamp fitter ... morewhich features a pattern of acanthus and shells. The top section also utilizes a single, regular bulb and also operates with its own pull chain on/off switch. This is a beautiful lamp. Neither the frame nor the glass is marked or signed. It has strong French characteristics with a chinoserie style. It is in very good condition with very little evidence of age or use. There is a general aged patina to the frame. But no rust or broken sections. The glass pieces are in very good condition with wear limited to the fitter sections of the glass. The wiring is vintage but has been updated at some point. Exceptional Old Antique Pair Large Art Nouveau Deco Figural Maiden Statue Lamps
~ Original Art Nouveau Period Maiden Lamps ~ ~ Description This is an original pair of large. Early 1900's figural maiden lamps with amber glass shades. These are very, very rare to find in an original pair and unheard of in this condition. I purchased them long ago from an elderly lady in Dallas who had them carefully stored away for many years, and they are extremely well preserved and entirely original except for the cords. I can't find any defects to mention at all. Even the glass is perfect, but please keep in mind that they are old. I would never part with these lamps if I had the space to properly display them. As I really love them and know I will never be able to replace them, but I feel that they should be enjoyed rather than put away where no one can see them, so I have decided to offer them to someone new who will appreciate ... morethem as much as I do. These lamps are very impressive in person. They are large and heavy. Each standing approx. 24" tall. The diameter of each shade is about 7" at widest. One of the cords was recently updated with antique style cloth covered cord and the switch at the bottom was bypassed so it must be plugged in and unplugged(I just used the switch on a power strip to turn both lamps on and off at the same time rather than using the switch and plug on the lamps) The lamp with the old wiring works well. But you may wish to have the wiring replaced. The switch on that one is functional. I use realistic looking flickering candle bulbs in these which are pictured, and I will included them. They really look beautiful behind the amber glass and produce such a warm, relaxing light. If you wanted to use these lamps more for light than just for ambiance, you could replace the bulbs with something brighter. They do take standard size bulbs. My photos should describe these amazing lamps much better than I can with words. This is a detailed lamp that depicts a boy picking fruit from a tree and handing it to the girl below who is placing it in a basket. The artist name is signed on the base. I have shown a close up photograph of the signature. This is a heavy lamp that weighs 25.8 pounds. It measures 35" tall up to the bottom of the light socket. It measures 9 and 3/4" across at the base. This is a detailed lamp that appears to be made from some type of metal. I am unsure of the exact metal composition. Is it bronze? I am just unsure. This lamp includes the lampshade. The lampshade does have some rips on the interior fabric. The lamp itself does minimal wear present. There are no breaks or repairs present.
