Each cabinet has two shelves and a large door to keep the dust out. Each one measures(at the top) 35 1/4" wide x 13 1/2" deep(front to back) x 35" tall. With the pillars it reaches a height of 89 1/2" So the pillars by themselves(with the capitals) are 54 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" in diameter and the capitals are 8" wide. One of the glass doors is missing the glass which is an easy fix but we figure if these are being shipped it might just make more sense to let the buyer have that done on their end. Each of these have a thin layer of brown paint. Red Oak Onion Pattern Newel Post Top - Finial
This is a northern red oak newel post top or it could be used as a finial. It is 5-31/32” tall. The small ball shape at the top is 1-7/8” in diameter. The fat part of the onion shape in the middle is 2-7/8” in diameter. The ring shape at the bottom is the same diameter. There is a hole drilled in the bottom that can be used for mounting. A double ended lag screw will be included with each part. These newel tops are for interior use only. They are made in Michigan by Acadian Woodworking. LLC. It measures 47.5 inches tall. 9 square at the largest part just below the cap, and is 7 inches square at the base. Overall it is in good condition. These columns came out of a bank in Wellville Ohio and graced the lobby on both sides. Constructed of oak they are well built and need some TLC.They stand at 148"h and wrap a corner. Description This is a newel post that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of oak and was painted and stripped. The original finial is intact. The top has 2 carved panels on each of three sides. All are different. The shaft is fluted with beveled corners. It measures 57.25 inches tall and 57.25 inches square at the base and 6 at the shaft. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a few chips and nicks. One of the base pieces may be a replacement. Solid OAK Newel POSTS and STAIRCASE RAILING with Spindles =
For sale is a nice solid oak Railing and newel posts. The larger newel post is 51" tall and 8" square at the widest. The top to it is not original. A light was mounted there at one time. The electrical lines were still inside when I removed the post. Other than that it is in good shape needing cleaned and maybe refinished. Depending on your look. The railing is in great shape but one spindle does have a split in it. It is not broken but one does have a split. It is 110" long. The top newel post is 37"tall from floor to top. Then it has the extra length that would wrap down the side of the Stairs. It is only 5" square but the ball on top of it is original and can be used to replace the unoriginal one at the bottom. I don't know the original purpose of this piece. But I used it on the porch as a small table. No longer needed. It is 12" high, 11-1/4" diameter and is very heavy. It is in ready to be refinished shape. With multiple layers of paint, and some chipping. Or leave as is for a more shabby chic look. These antique or vintage oak bannister columns or pillars are 30" high. They have square shaped tops and bottoms that are 1-1/2" wide X 6" tall each and have 18" decorative rope look or wood turned middle sections. FIFTEEN IN ALL! They appear to have the original black lacquer finish in large areas. But will strip very easily. They are obviously in used& weathered condition(with dust included) but in very good shape overall. Antique Pair Oak Colums Posts Architectural Salvage Mantel
This is a beautiful pair of columns made of oak and in very good condition for its age. This came out of an older home in Sarasota. FL but, the owners brought them from New York back in the 50's. They told me they had been in their late 1800s home and they didn't want to part with them when they moved. Overall Measurements: 66" tall. 6" diameter on top, 8" diameter in bottom. Please review the last 3 pictures. There are some minor cracks in the wood as sown. Due to the size of the item. This is a local pick up or you can arrange your own freight/pickup. Highly Carved Antique Victorian Oak Newel Post Cap in Original Condition
Here's a very ornately carved cap to an oak newel post which must have come from some impressive Victorian building. This would look stunning either built into a stairway of a Victorian home or as an interesting accent piece. There are a few chips. Bumps and nail holes and it is also quite dirty. But I'll leave any cleaning to the new owner. Although beautiful as is. The original quartersawn oak finish would certainly benefit from a little oil and wax to bring out the grain. It measures 21" tall by a maximum width of about 9 1/2" and weighs in at a hefty 17 pounds of solid oak. Shipping is $16 within the US only and pick up in person is free. Good luck!

I was told at the auction that it is an oak plant stand but it is pretty tall so I will let you be the judge what it is or what you would like to use it for. It does have an awesome oak veneer sheet over the actual fluted wood but it does have some chipped off pieces as shown in the pictures. I am not sure what type of wood is underneath or on the feet. It is a unique and beautiful piece. I was also told it was from the early 1900's or possibly older. It measures 45-1/2" tall x 20" x 16" at the base/feet and the fluted round piece measures 5-3/4" in diameter ... moreoutside and 4" in diameter inside. Handsome pair of antique newel posts crafted of solid oak and dating from approximately 1880. The square post body is topped with a simple domed newel post cap and features a unique silhouette that tapers in the center. Chamfered edges with reeded and grooved detailing compliment the top and the base. Unlike boxed newel posts that are hollow in the middle. These posts are solid all the way through.
