With minor blemishes, discolorations and a few chips. They are all in sound condition with no evidence of any repairs or breaks that I have noticed. Price listed is for four columns as pictured. Measurements are 7' 4" height x 5-1/2" square base and top. These columns are very eye catching with contrasting color and shapes. As all the elements seem to work beautifully together. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Architectural Porch Post Column Spindle 95 inches
This auction is for one(1) antique vintage victorian wooden architectural porch spindle post/column. It was removed from our 1896 Victorian home as part of a remodeling project. I have no idea in what year this particular post was put on the porch. Meaning no way for me to know whether it was an original or a replacement somewhere down the line. I only know the year the house was built, and that the post was here when we bought it. It is about 94.5 inches tall, and the squared-off portions above and below the spindle section are 3.25" x 3.25" Measuring from the top to the point where the spindle begins is about 14.5" in length(height) and the spindle part is 39.5" long before the squared-off part starts again. I've also included pictures of the house when it was still installed before we removed it. this is off a house that was built in 1904 so it is over 100 years old. I only have the one capital but I do have the four columns that are somewhat massive it came off of. I won't be listing the columns but they are for sale by pickup only in Washington Indiana. The pics are the description. It is not perfect and has been glued at some point as seen in pics and has some missing fragmented pieces as seen in pics. Still a very cool accent or decorator piece.
