Corner raised Garden Box~Repurposed out of Salvaged wood~solid!Michigan
Hi up for auction I have a raised corner garden planter or bed. Made from salvaged wood. We have two to pick from. I bought the plans online( they were $400.00) My partner and I made the planter boxes from recycled high school bleechers. All of the picket pieces were hand made from the bleechers. I have added a newel post at the back. The bottom of the planters are made from new wood. The planters are too large and heavy for me to sell at antique shows.The planters are very solid and sturdy. My partner is a professional cabinet maker, so the craftsmanship is top rated. They each measures( around, each is a littlel different in height) 50" tall( at the tallest back part)x 36" deep on each side x 52" wide. These make great vegtable or flower gardens. Architectural Hitching Post Wrought Iron Decorative Horse Head Garden
Here is an old antique hitching post. It is wrought iron and heavy as all get out. It measures about 35" high alone. I threw in the metal horses head. But it does not fit and you'd have to attach it some how if you wanted it on there. It is from a lamp(mid century) and has a hole in the top as shown in the last photo. You are buying the hitching post. If you don't want the head then the shipping will be less but the price you bid is the price you bid with or without the head. The base is 8 sided and about 7" wide x 7" high. The hole in the top of the base is about 2 3/4" across. The hitching post is old and has wear for age and a few holes in the iron as shown. Very heavy with no cracks, missing metal, rot, or other visible damage. Very old paint that is checking, chipping and has different colors on top and under each. Some random spray paint areas.
