For sale is a 1950s 2 arm industrial Jielde multi angle articulated machine ... morelamp. The aluminium elbows have been polished. The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. They have etched shades and are small enough to set on a desk or a table. These lamps have a 10 prisms ring around them. They measure 13 ½” tall with a 4” square base at the bottom. I love these lamps they are so small and unique and look perfect on a nightstand for reading. This is a very nice antique/vintage brass desl lamp.The lantern is a lovely art noveau design. the sculptured brass has openings for the light bulb to shine through the textured glass.The top of the lantern is about 7 inches square.The lantern is 14 inches from top to bottom. The gooseneck is 36 inches from the lantern to the top ofr te base.Their is a well just before the base which appears to be missing something. I had a brass bowl that I inserted ad it looks like it belngs there.This is a rare vintage/antique desk lamp.The off and on switch is on the base which has an art nouvea design.he base is35 inches in diameter ande the electrical cord is about 40 inches long. Vintage Victorian Porcelain Lamp; Bedside, Desk, Vanity, Powder Room
This dainty little porcelain lamp is a beauty. It came from the estate of a Victorian lady's boudoir. Circa mid 1930s. Even though that is later than the Victorian era, I understand from the family she was truly a Victorian Lady! The porcelain lamp is in near pristine condition and the only flaws I can find are a couple of areas of almost microscopic paint loss on the gold gilt"handles" The base appears to be brass with heavy patina at first glance but I think it may be made of iron or some other heavy metal. The lamp works and has what appears to be the original cloth covered wire which is in good condition. The plug is Leviton and is. I believe, Bakelite. The bulb receptacle, made by Eagle, appears to be a replacement. The harp is missing and there is no shade. With the addition of the right shade, I would think the lamp could ... moreeasily be used without a harp. It stands about 13-1/2" high to the top of the bulb receptacle and about 6" wide at the widest point. This would be lovely in shabby. For your consideration is a ultra rare brass FARIES dual arm desk lamp. The weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 22" tall. The 13" arms extend out to a total of 32" wide including the shades. The arms can be adjusted in height. Width as well as pivot with the shades 360 degrees, should you like. The antique milk glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do have straw marks from the manufacturing process. The matching brass paddle switch sockets are marked"circle F 250W 250V PAT JULY 6, 1909" and accept standard base bulbs(bulbs not included) The lamp has been rewired with 18 gauge cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The lamp has tarnish and wear, adding to the character. The lamp has been cleaned and given a hand rubbed wax finish, bringing out the wonderful patina. ... moreThe lamp has been carefully cleaned of its grime and buffed out with a soft cotton cloth. The lamp is heavy and quite stable! There are no flaws to the glass base or center post. There is Silverplating missing in some places on the center post and arms. Rare Vintage 1900's Bryant Brass Desk/ Student's/ Jeweler's Industrial Lamp. This lamp is unusual because the socket mechanism rotates in a full circle. Bryant hallmark on the socket. Lamp is 8.5" tall to the tip of the finial on the post. The socket arm adjusts to 11" tall when hyper-extended. base is 5 5/8" in diameter. Weight is 3.75 lbs. Braided cloth cord. Acorn tip pull chain. Shade mount is 2 1/4" in diameter. Lamp was in storage for many years and has not been touched. Cleaned, or polished. Works.

Vintage Antique Signed Faries Industrial Brass Lamp Machine Age Desk Light
For your consideration is a signed brass FARIES flexible shaft bench lamp. The signed Faries weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 25" tall. The lamp retains an old chippy silver painted base that the brass shows through and looks great. The bare steel parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has the Faries name embossed. The brass paddle switch socket is a PERKINS and accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has its original cloth covered wire and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The wiring I left alone as it works and looks pretty good. Just a couple of spots starting to fray. You must be the judge whether to use or replace. The lamp has paint chips, dings, tarnish and wear, adding to the character. The lamp has been cleaned and given a hand rubbed wax finish, bringing out the wonderful ... morepatina. You cannot find this company's lights in the U.S. It is stamped on the bottom with the HoNSEL logo and name(see photo) Original lamps go for thousands of dollars at the BIG auction's house(you know which one! The wiring may have been replaced but that is also vintage as you can see from the pictures. The tree shaped base is cast metal- very heavy, maybe bronze? Bronze colored, for sure. This lamps works beautifully(all photos are of the lamp turned on) I do not know the age of this lamp. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Here's what I know of this lamp. It was made by the HoNSEL Lighting Company whose affiliations date back to 1919. Info on the name HoNSEL: The New Honsel of 1919-1929 was a workshop of decorative artist ... moreHendrik Cornelis Hérens(1893-1934) that made stained glass lamps. Hendrikk Hérens was born on December 4. 1893 in Amsterdam. He took a course in drawing at the Academy of Art in The Hague and then was an assistant to the restoration of the stained glass windows of St. John's Church in Gouda. In 1919 he started his own studio in Honselersdijk(Netherlands) where he made stained and leaded-glass windows. The workshop was called The Honsel. And later The New Honsel. His first lamps were faithful decorations. But gradually he went on to the expressionist Amsterdam School style. He designed lamps for major clients such as De Bijenkorf and cinema Tuschinsky. 1] He also made for individuals lamps in the Tuschinsky style. In 1921 the studio moved to Loosduinen and in 1923 to The Hague. The workshop closed in 1929. There is now a company in Germany called Honsel Leuchten(I found the connection from Hendrik Herens to this company. There is metal damage where a whole has opened up- as was poined out to me by a fellow Art Deco fan. Pretty certain there was another nude female statuette to match the one that remains. Green glass globe looks amazing as does beautiful nude statuette. I am confident this is a light/lamp that would sit on a table or desk. This is 12" long and approximately 7.5" tall.
