Fenton milkglass hobnail lamp/wall sconce. this lamp/sconce is approx 12" tall-from the bottom of the wall plate to the top of the electrical socket. adding the bulb and whatever kind of shade should be added to that measurement to get an estimate of how tall it would be on a wall. the shade to use is one of the ones that clip around the bulb.it is a standard size bulb socket. the shade is not included in this listing. the glass does not have any damage. the brass hardward is is good shape and has the appropriate age patina. the scone only needs a sturdy moly bolt or nail to mount on the wall. Vintage Flowered Milk Glass Electric Hurricane Table Lamp This lamp measures approx. 18-1/2" tall to the top of the shade. The chimney sticks out from the top of the shade about 1 inch. The shade is about 10" wide at it's widest point As you should see. The glass is yellow toned on the milk glass and has yellow& blue flowers with some green leaves The lamp uses a standard sized bulb but i'm not exactly sure of the wattage max.probably 60 would be safe and a small night light bulb in the bottom There is some minor patina to a small part of the brass toned metal that connects to the lower portion of the lamp and the shade has been cracked and repaired(to the side of the flowered area) The break was about the size of a large egg and fixed with some strong epoxy glue.still a small chip on the bottom edge of the shade but ... morewhen in place. You never see it. The break is not really visable unless looking very closely for it and should never come apart. The switch works perfectly as it should and first turns on the bottom night light. Then the top light and then turns on both the top and bottom lights together. No problems at all with the cord. I will pack this very carefully in bubble wrap and shipping peanuts. Offering this very attractive antique Victorian Era Gone With The Wind Table Lamp. Originally oil but now converted to electric power. The parts maker was P& A. Royal who made the parts for the early Aladdin Lamps. This has a beautiful swirl milk glass base with a forest and mountain scene that appears to be a transfer ware process decoration. The cast iron feet are adorned with Cherubs at four points. Other than the cut outs for the conversion, one at the bottom of the pot and two at the top for the on- off chain, it is in great shape and just needs a shade. It measures 12 inches tall to top of the shade holder, is 6 inches wide at the top of the base and 7 inches wide at the swirl area of the base. The feet area measures 6 1/4 inches squared. Rare Vintage 5 Arm Hobnail Milk Glass Chandelier
Rare vintage 5 arm hobnail milk glass chandelier. This is a beautiful peice to add to anyone's home. This peice is from the 1930's. All of the shades are in good condition. There are rough spots where the shades sit on the chadelier but nothing that is visible when assembled. The chandelier is complete with a brass chain that could use a little attention due to the age. The plastic peice around where the bulb is screwed in on one of the arms is broken off a little. Not visable with shade in place and it will not interfere with function. I am unsure if the wiring is still good but it would be a reletively easy and uncostly project. I have tried to photograph all flaws. Please refer to the photo's above. If more photos are needed. I did not polish the leave and left"as is" This wonderful lamps has a round base made of Walnut or Mohagony wood that measures about 7" acoss and a little over 2" tall(made of two pieces of wood) There is an array of enamel geometric designs/patterns in blues. Greens, whites, burnt-red, etc. all outlined in black. The chimney is made of metal and has a turn on-off switch and holds the shade. The lamp shade is thin with a pressed pattern in the glass of square designs that graduates from small to large squares. The lamp including the ... moreshade measures approximately 21" tall. The inside insulated sleeve for the bulb is white porcelain/ceramic. The lamp uses a bulb with a larger base than the standard electrical bulb that is used today. It has a secure electrical cord and plug, the on-off switch easily turns. I am 99% sure that the lamp works but I can't say with 100% since I don't have a bulb that fits the socket. Overall, this lamp is in good condition with no dents, cracks, chips, stains, etc. It shows some light tarnishing and the inside the top metal piece it appears to have very light surface rust on the inside of the metal. I’m selling a collectable and beautifully-coloured English oil lamp from around 1890-and in full working order. It makes a wonderful centrepiece and. Like all oil lamps, it gives a beautiful soft light that adds atmosphere to any room. This is a really striking and attractive lamp in fantastic condition with a very unusual coloured font that graduates from deep turquoise to milky white. The font has no chips or cracks and is decoratively moulded in a basketwork design. The elegant upright stand is spelter. I think, with the look of bronze, and the base is shiny black ceramic. There’s no maker’s mark on the base. But the screw fitting burner with twin thumbwheels is marked‘Duplex’ English Made’ The glass chimney. Also undamaged, ... moreis marked‘Griffin brand Fireproof, foreign’ Dimensions: 58cm high.17.5 diameter of base Condition: Absolutely original and undamaged. Lightly cleaned but with all its antique patina. There is a shallow chip on the ceramic base at the very bottom edge where it stands on the table. It is all but invisible unless you look for it. 1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. Oil stand lamp. Bloxam" translucent milk glass, 2 burner Plume& Attwood"Banner, and a milk glass petticoat shade, c1880s. For pattern, reference Thuro's book 2"Oil Lamps II" pub. 1983/90, p 101 fig g for a flat hand lamp, and p. 104 fig g for a stand lamp. Not sure who made this lamp. Have seen it in clear, and the minature versions with nbr. 1 burners or smaller burners. This is the only milk glass one I've seen, so I know it is hard to find. The lamp is about 9.125" to the collar, and 19.5" with the chimney and burner. I added the petticoat shade later based on a comment from my wife. The petticoat shade is about 2.56" tall and 8.75" wide. All of the glass is in excellent condition. When I purchased it many years ago, the collar was loose, so I re-plastered it later. For auction is a great vintage. Mid century or older brass and quilted milk glass shade hanging swag lamp. Light is in good used working condition. Entire fixture is 22+inches from ceiling to bottom of fixture. It has a lovely quilted pattern milk glass shade that has a 7 inch opening at the bottom. No chips or cracks in shade. there are 2 tiny areas of discoloration where the metal has been in contact with the shade all its life. very nice swag fixture.
