Fenton milkglass hobnail lamp/wall sconce. this lamp/sconce is approx 12" tall-from the bottom of the wall plate to the top of the electrical socket. adding the bulb and whatever kind of shade should be added to that measurement to get an estimate of how tall it would be on a wall. the shade to use is one of the ones that clip around the bulb.it is a standard size bulb socket. the shade is not included in this listing. the glass does not have any damage. the brass hardward is is good shape and has the appropriate age patina. the scone only needs a sturdy moly bolt or nail to mount on the wall. Vintage Flowered Milk Glass Electric Hurricane Table Lamp This lamp measures approx. 18-1/2" tall to the top of the shade. The chimney sticks out from the top of the shade about 1 inch. The shade is about 10" wide at it's widest point As you should see. The glass is yellow toned on the milk glass and has yellow& blue flowers with some green leaves The lamp uses a standard sized bulb but i'm not exactly sure of the wattage max.probably 60 would be safe and a small night light bulb in the bottom There is some minor patina to a small part of the brass toned metal that connects to the lower portion of the lamp and the shade has been cracked and repaired(to the side of the flowered area) The break was about the size of a large egg and fixed with some strong epoxy glue.still a small chip on the bottom edge of the shade but ... morewhen in place. You never see it. The break is not really visable unless looking very closely for it and should never come apart. The switch works perfectly as it should and first turns on the bottom night light. Then the top light and then turns on both the top and bottom lights together. No problems at all with the cord. I will pack this very carefully in bubble wrap and shipping peanuts. Old ornate solid brass stamped sliding rod bell with old brass finish steel chain. Antique/ V intage brass socket with Hubbell shade fitter. New modern cord and vintage pull chain switch. The shade is good condition with no cracks or breaks and no roughness or chips I came across. The lamp is uncleaned as found with natura l tarnish and aging. Offering this very attractive antique Victorian Era Gone With The Wind Table Lamp. Originally oil but now converted to electric power. The parts maker was P& A. Royal who made the parts for the early Aladdin Lamps. This has a beautiful swirl milk glass base with a forest and mountain scene that appears to be a transfer ware process decoration. The cast iron feet are adorned with Cherubs at four points. Other than the cut outs for the conversion, one at the bottom of the pot and two at the top for the on- off chain, it is in great shape and just needs a shade. It measures 12 inches tall to top of the shade holder, is 6 inches wide at the top of the base and 7 inches wide at the swirl area of the base. The feet area measures 6 1/4 inches squared. Customer Service* Return Policy* Combined Shipping* Worldwide Shipping* Best Offer Considered DESCRIPTION This auction is for a wonderful Antique Bronze and Enameled Champleve Cloisonne Lamp with all the lamp hardware and the original milk glass shade with a geometric pressed glass design. I did not polish the leave and left"as is" This wonderful lamps has a round base made of Walnut or Mohagony wood that measures about 7" acoss and a little over 2" tall(made of two pieces of wood) There is an array of enamel geometric designs/patterns in blues. Greens, whites, burnt-red, etc. all outlined in black. The chimney is made of metal and has a turn on-off switch and holds the shade. The lamp shade is thin with a pressed pattern in the glass of square designs that graduates from small to large squares. The lamp including the ... moreshade measures approximately 21" tall. The inside insulated sleeve for the bulb is white porcelain/ceramic. The lamp uses a bulb with a larger base than the standard electrical bulb that is used today. It has a secure electrical cord and plug, the on-off switch easily turns. I am 99% sure that the lamp works but I can't say with 100% since I don't have a bulb that fits the socket. Overall, this lamp is in good condition with no dents, cracks, chips, stains, etc. It shows some light tarnishing and the inside the top metal piece it appears to have very light surface rust on the inside of the metal. I’m selling a collectable and beautifully-coloured English oil lamp from around 1890-and in full working order. It makes a wonderful centrepiece and. Like all oil lamps, it gives a beautiful soft light that adds atmosphere to any room. This is a really striking and attractive lamp in fantastic condition with a very unusual coloured font that graduates from deep turquoise to milky white. The font has no chips or cracks and is decoratively moulded in a basketwork design. The elegant upright stand is spelter. I think, with the look of bronze, and the base is shiny black ceramic. There’s no maker’s mark on the base. But the screw fitting burner with twin thumbwheels is marked‘Duplex’ English Made’ The glass chimney. Also undamaged, ... moreis marked‘Griffin brand Fireproof, foreign’ Dimensions: 58cm high.17.5 diameter of base Condition: Absolutely original and undamaged. Lightly cleaned but with all its antique patina. There is a shallow chip on the ceramic base at the very bottom edge where it stands on the table. It is all but invisible unless you look for it. It has been in the same family for three generations and has been well looked after. This is a really strikingly attractive item. 1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. For pattern, reference Thuro's book 2"Oil Lamps II" pub. 1983/90, p 101 fig g for a flat hand lamp, and p. 104 fig g for a stand lamp. Not sure who made this lamp. Have seen it in clear, and the minature versions with nbr. 1 burners or smaller burners. This is the only milk glass one I've seen, so I know it is hard to find. The lamp is about 9.125" to the collar, and 19.5" with the chimney and burner. I added the petticoat shade later based on a comment from my wife. The petticoat shade is about 2.56" tall and 8.75" wide. All of the glass is in excellent condition. When I purchased it many years ago, the collar was loose, so I re-plastered it later. YOU ARE LOOKING AT A WONDERFUL OLD MILK GLASS HURRICANE LAMP BASE. UNFORTUNATELY THE ORIGINAL GLOBE AND OTHER PARTS ARE LONG GONE. THIS LAMP IS IN GREAT CONDITION. IT HAS A TRANSFER DECORATED SCENE ON BOTH SIDES. ONE SIDE IS A CHARMING COUNTRY COTTAGE WITH APPLE BLOSSOMS AND LEAVES. THE OTHER SIDE HAS A SMALLER SCENE OF APPLE BLOSSOMS AND TREES. THIS LAMP IS VERY HEAVY. THE MILK GLASS BASE IS VERY THICK. THE COLLAR IS BRASS AND THE BOTTOM COLLAR BETWEEN THE BASE AND METAL STAND APPEARS TO BE BRASS. THE INTRICATE DETAILED METAL FEET HAVE LOST IT'S GOLD WASH. THE TRANSFER DECORATION IS IN TACT. I DO SEE SOME SMALL FLAKES HERE AND THERE THE SIDE MOLDED DESIGN HAS SOME PAINT LOSS, ORIGINALLY GREEN. Vintage Antique Milk White Hobnail Glass Brass Electric Table Lamp
Vintage 1930's antique brass table lamp with hobnail milk glass. This is a project piece. Although it works, it has definitely seen better days in its 70+ years. The base is cracked in 9 places and the bakelite strain relief screw is broken. The original milk glass shade is long gone as is the glass chimney. But the glass bowl is in perfect condition. As is the brass chimney holder and the Leviton bakelite twisty knob, so I couldn't throw it away. It was simply too cool to pitch. The images are of the actual piece that I will ship to the winning bidder.
