He exhibited his betty lamps and household utensils at local fairs, especially the Reading fair His work is scarce and very collectible. This lamp has all the parts, including the interior wick channel. There is an indent on one side ( see photo) which appears to be from the creation of the lamp. The lamp does exhibit some minor scuffing. I am guessing it may have been in a child's posession at one time. Very attractive and authentic patina. Note..the wire wick pick is not shiny as depicted in my photos...it has a vintage patina as well..

Vintage MOREAU lamp Collection Francaise Signed
You will be bidding on a fabulous L.F. Moreau Art Noveau style lamp. The lamp is made in the U.S.A. and is part of the Collection Francaise. It was purchased from a wealthy estate in Historic Mobile. Alabama. The home of Mardi Gras! The lamp features a lovely French lady reading as she takes a leisurely stroll. I'm guessing that this lamp is the rarest of the collection, because I have been unsuccessful at finding another like it after searching for hours online. One unique feature of the lamp is that it does't require a shade, and all the crystal accents are present and not damaged. The lamp is 25 inches tall. The shade is 11 in diameter. It is hand painted. The artist has signed it FT Moran. The top globe has 5 pink roses, the background morphs from a pale pink to a soft yellow. The base has smaller roses and more leaves, the background has the same gradual fade from pink to yellow. The raised white paint in some areas has a nice warm, highlighted effect. There are no chips, or cracks in the lamp, there is one little flea bite on the top rim, you have to look for the bite. The bottom is signed PG Co which I am thinking Pittsburgh Glass Co. This lamp has been converted to electric. The metal is brass. VINTAGE Signed Prof. G. Gambogi. Alabaster/marble gypsy 1900's lamp Very Rare
You are bidding on a very rare signed Prof. G. Gambogi light. This piece is made from marble(at base) to the gypsy being alabaster. The four little figures holding the light are made of brass. It is made in Italy. The globe is not original to this piece. The family who owns this piece had it for 40 years and prior to her recieving this piece it was her fathers. And she remembers it from when she was young. This piece weighs about 40 to 45lbs, it has great detail, and constructed to last. It is more beautiful in person. I am not an expert, I have this out for appraisal, and to verify the signature, I took pictures and from the hx I got on this piece, I believe it to be the real deal, but you be the judge. J.B.X. on piece which extends out to burner. Unusual design. Stands 16 3/8" tall. Very good condition. There appears to be 2 repair as shown one where teh burner extension piece attaches to tank and the back of the tank. The back of tank repair appears to have a small hole in the repair. Finger loop at top appears to be misshapen but may just be crudely designed. Screw-on tank cap moves freely as do height adjustment lever and wick adjustment. No wick. We have a Art Deco figural lady lamp, that is signed on the back by Aug Moreau, and has a plate attached to the marble base, that says FLORE par Aug. Moreau. This lamp has the bronze lacquering worn off, and the base metal can be seen through this. It has what we will call a corrosion patina, like it was weathered, and a couple of leaves at the top are broken off. There is an old cloth electrical cord with a good plastic plug. With solid wiring, and will take a small bulb in the socket. We didn’t try it out, but looks like it will still work. The marble base is in great shape with no chips or cracks. This is an Original Signed c1900 Articulated"O.C. White. Worcester, MA" Task Lamp, which measures 38 1/2"h in entirety; including the 8 1/2" signed iron bracket, and 4"x 6 1/2" bell shade. The piece was found in a closed Worcester, MA factory, mounted by the included iron mounting bracket, on a Steel Factory Table. The bracket and knuckle knob fixture are in excellent patina and condition. We are selling this piece in as found condition, and have not tried to remove the surface rust on both sides of the shade, or on the pipe arm. It requires rewiring to be functional. It has a great industrial look, makes a great wall sconce, and could be mounted on the right iron objet trouve base, to enable use as a table lamp.

I have researched the mark and I do believe it is from Sevres or Vincennes. The floral design is perfect, it was fired on and then I believe glazed so it has maintained its quality. The gold is very strong on both the metal fret work at the top, the embossed gold floral vines and blossoms on the ring that the round shade rests upon is very nice, all the gold trim on the lamp base is perfect, and the scroll base remains rich with gold. I believe the lamp was made in the 1930-40 Era because of the cord with a on/off switch. One side reads"und. lab inc. list" other side reads"Levitron 6A 125 v. 3A.250 v. 3A.125 VT and works. Cord is in very good condition. Is not dry nor cracking. The bulb housing however is made for a thin base or candelabra base bulb and that area or the pit the bulb base come out of is the only part of the lamp that is discolored with dark marks and looks like there is some wear from the round shade which is held in place by a tongue dispenser like thin metal on each side that must be pinched together to get the shade in place and the reverse to remove the glass shade so the shade sets very secure on the lamp. Beautiful antique. Marked Bradley and Hubbard slag glass lamp. The base is stamped Bradley and Hubbard in a triangle with a# 260 next to the triangle. The lamp cord looks authentic and still usable. There are two light bulbs which are unusual in shape with six sides, the bulb is marked G.E. Mazda 25W 110V. The lamp suckets are marked Bryant 250W 250V Pat'd Nov 26, 1907. The heigth of the base is approx 19" from the bottom to the top of the screw on to hold the shade. There is a beautiful flowral and leaf design on the base. There is no damage on the entire base piece. The diameter of the base is approx 8" The shade has 8 panels of the same size of approx 7 1/2" from the top of the shade to the bottom. The top of the shade across measures approx 1 1/2" and the bottom across measures approx 5 1/2" Most of the clips ... morethat hold the panels in place are available with just a few missing. The glass pieces are secure and in place. Each of the bottom metal retainers that hold the glass panels in place are stamped Pat'd Oct 20, 08, which means 1908. The screw on top of the base screws into the base and care should be exercised when unscrewing the shade from the base because the screw works both ways, it screws into the base and also can be unscrewed from the base leaving the shade at jeapardy of being disconnected from the base. There are no breaks in the metal works and the glass is uniform in shape and size. The base and the shade are both in the condition as described, no cleaning of any kind was attempted in the possibility of damaging the piece. Very beautiful piece of art and very compatible to any decor or style. The lamp is not overly large and small enough to fit any size stand or table. Sold as is so please contact if any questions. ANTIQUE Peter Derr gallows/kettle lamp IRON AND BRASS SIGNED AND DATED
Peter Derr(Berks County. Pennsylvania, 1793-1868) brass, copper, and iron gimbaled fat lamp. Stamped P.D 1849, 10' h. I recently purchased the Peter Derr gallows/kettle lamp shown in the attached photo. I don't know much about these lamps and can't find any information on them. Which name. Gallows or kettle, is correct? Why do they have a long shaft with a swivel font? Why did some have lids on the font? They don't appear practical, are they? Sometimes they are referred to as barn lamps. Is that correct? I have also heard they were predominately made and used in Eastern Pennsylvania and that some were also made and used in Europe. Is that correct? Thank you for your help. Answer: The example shown in your photo is the typical style made by the famous Pennsylvania metal worker. Peter Derr. He coined the term"gallows" ... moreto describe his own models, although the term kettle(referring to the shape of the font) is the common term used by most authors, dealers and collectors to describe this form of lamp. The term"gallows" refers to the construction of the U shaped carriage that holds the font, and which sits on the long pole like shaft. The long shaft with a swivel(trunnion) font, and a fixed vertical wick holder, are basic design features of all kettle lamps. The swivel or trunnion construction was very practical, as it allowed the user to tip the font to provide more fuel(fat or grease) to the end of the wick. Some had lids to protect the fuel and prevent spillage. The length of the shaft appears to be more stylistic, than functional. Many examples are much shorter than the Derr design. They were first made and used in Central Europe in the 18th Century, and were brought to America by immigrants. The form was made by Derr and others, and commonly used in Pennsylvania throughout the 19th Century. They were made using a variety of metals, including iron, brass and copper, often decorated with incising on the fonts and/or knops on the shaft, and were also the subject of gifts or dowry.

Antique Metal Slag Glass Lamp, 7 Panel, Signed, RAINAUD #C, Art Nouveau 23"
This is an antique Rainaud lamp. The bottom of the lamp is stamped Rainaud C with the number 30 in the center at the bottom. Parts of the lamp are metal. And other parts are a metal like material. The two light bulb sockets look to have been changed in recent years. The lamp stands 23" tall. And the shase is 17.5" across the bottom. The lamp is heavy. And will need to be shipped in a large box with lots of padding which will be reflected in the shipping price. To ship will be around 20 pounds. I include insurance at no extra cost. André Delatte Wonderful french 1920-25 art deco chandelier in wrought iron with shades in glass paste signed A.Delatte Nancy. Often André Delatte used black ink to sign his glasses. The signatures are vague and on some shades almost gone but traces are still visible. André Delatte(1887-1953) was the private banker of the Muller freres company and thats how he came in touch and fell in love with art nouveau and art deco glassware. He took up a study in chemistry and in 1919 he started to work for Muller decorating vases. In 1921 he opened his own workshop in Jarvil. The outskirts of Nancy. It became a welknown small glass company making mainly glas paste vases and shades for lighting. And was especially successful with the beautiful mottled structures of Delattes colored pieces. The upper section was polished at some point.some solder was taken off the airdraft edge and does not interfere with the threads. screws in perfectly) One hole filled in by the airdraft.One hole behind the head and one hole in the base.look at photos) The center iron rod is intact. The weighted base is signed(C. CO. 61) w/ two holes. All holes can be repaired. Drop in is period but chimney holder and screws look like an old replacement. 6" holder is old. Fantastic Antique Stained Glass / metal Lamp dated & signed One of a kind!!!!!
We have the most beautiful antique lamp for auction. The theme of the lamp is an oak tree with acorns and oak leaves.The base is made of a type of metal. But not bronze or brass. It stands an overall 24" high, with the stained glass shade 6"high by 22" wide setting on the metal base and held steady with metal arms that have gorgeous leaves holding the shade. The lamp is signed(stamped) K. R. T. and dated DEC. 1907 on the side of the base underneath some of the metal work, so I don't believe it was added at a later date. I feel the initials and date are original. It is very heavy and will need to be shipped in two separate boxes. The shade is very simple red& green glass with a glass bead fringe that was added later. There are two pieces of glass that have heat crazing, but the decision was made not to replace them as ... morethey are still very solid. Base is heavy cast iron with a brass stem and cast iron metal holding the slag glass panels. Overlay metal work on the shade has a nice hammered aged look to it with some dust present and light surface scratches yet I think that is from production and not actu al scratches. The base is etched with a very nice leaf/floral design cut deep in to the cast iron. Also included with the lamp is an old 8 foot extension cord that match's the lamp's cord. Antique Victorian FLOOR LAMP Original Antique Rembrandt Floor Lamp Signed& Numbered R9105 Height- Approximately 62" This impressive early 1900's original antique floor lamp is in beautiful and really great condition with normal aging for a century old antique(see pictures) But, as with any antique lamp, it should probably be rewired for saftey. I believe lamp is brass, iron, and copper. The design is quite lovely. I will ship anywhere possible, shipping cost not included. Sold as is.

It is marked with the company's trademark, a C within a damond, on the base(see photos) This example is c.1920's or slightly older. It has been professionally rewired for modern convenience. It maintains the original pulls, as well as original Benjamin sockets, although it is missing the original finial. Measures 24" tall and 5 3/4" wide at base. Weighs just under 6 pounds. Edward F.
