Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. Awesome Art Deco style swing arm floor lamp. This is a very ornate piece and will restore beautifully. Someone put some tan color paint on the base. I think this will come off very easily. A lot came off when I was brushing it off with a straw whis k broom. The base is a cast metal material with 4 small feet and is marked on the bottom(HF-5) The bottom ornate stem piece. And the spacer piece just under the arm is cast brass. The middle stem is a fluted lighter metal, I'm not sure if that is the original color or someone painted that too. Please note that handling time for this item is about a week after payment clears. Antique desk lamp. From bottom to top it stands 22 5/8 INCHES TALL. The base is 12 inches long. And 6 1/2 inches wide. I'm not sure of its exact age or any of its history. I purchased it at an antique store in 1996 or'97. It's in descent shape. The main problem is that three of the front hooves of the horses are broken off and missing. The shade. Which is metal, has come off and needs to be soldered back onto its spokes. As you can see in the photo, the lamp can rotate on its base, so it needs to be glued to the base again. Other than that there are the scratches and chipped paint you can see in the photos. I do not know the age of these lamps, but they are most likely fine quality repros. They are from either the historic Windsor Court hotel or the Omni Royal Orleans in NOLA, acquired from a liquidation/renovation project. This is an antique Rainaud lamp. The bottom of the lamp is stamped Rainaud C with the number 30 in the center at the bottom. Parts of the lamp are metal. And other parts are a metal like material. The two light bulb sockets look to have been changed in recent years. The lamp stands 23" tall. And the shase is 17.5" across the bottom. The lamp is heavy. And will need to be shipped in a large box with lots of padding which will be reflected in the shipping price. To ship will be around 20 pounds. I include insurance at no extra cost. Antique Tole Hanging Lamps Matching Pair Metal Flowers No Shades
This is a great matching pair of vintage toleware hanging lights. In the photo I put a shade on one so that you can see what it would look like finished. I think the shade is probably about 1/2 inch too long. No Shade is included in the sale. Each light has a bouquet of metal flowers. Five per lamp, the original paints in yellows pinks and greens. Top to bottom is 18" The flowers appear to be in a vase with the on/ off pull on the bottom of the vase. I have cleaned these up including the cord and chain but some of the detail on the flower center have dust. I'll leave the heavy cleaning to the new owner. Fantastic Antique Stained Glass / metal Lamp dated & signed One of a kind!!!!!
We have the most beautiful antique lamp for auction. The theme of the lamp is an oak tree with acorns and oak leaves.The base is made of a type of metal. But not bronze or brass. It stands an overall 24" high, with the stained glass shade 6"high by 22" wide setting on the metal base and held steady with metal arms that have gorgeous leaves holding the shade. The lamp is signed(stamped) K. R. T. and dated DEC. 1907 on the side of the base underneath some of the metal work, so I don't believe it was added at a later date. I feel the initials and date are original. It is very heavy and will need to be shipped in two separate boxes. The shade is very simple red& green glass with a glass bead fringe that was added later. There are two pieces of glass that have heat crazing, but the decision was made not to replace them as ... morethey are still very solid. 1940's Antique Western Cowboy LAMP Metal Cowboy Body with Hat Lamp Shade
Here is a very neat old lamp. I recently found it at a local estate sale. The stuff in this house was extremely old. This was tucked away in the attic neatly stored in a box. The lamp looks like a cowboy, it includes a felt? hat with feathers. The unit is made out of metal, it may be lead. The light bulb acts as the cowboy's head- I am not sure what the original bulb looked like- but a standard light bulb fits the shade(see pic 1 and 2) This lamp is working. It has a standard light bulb recepticle. The body measures about 10 inches tall, and 7 inches wide. The hat and bulb add another 3-4 inches. This unit has a cloth wound original cord(it is somewhat ratty) The lamp has a tan paint which I believe to be completely original. It shows some lights signs of handling but overall is 90% intact. I am not sure how old this lamp is, but it looks ... moreto be around 75 years(1930's-40's) old maybe older. It is in extremely nice condition for its age. There are no cracks, repairs, holes, dents or rust. The hat shade show some light wear but overall is very nice. I could not find any information as to a manufacturer. Winner gets a gorgeous. Original Art Deco or Art Nouveau metal lamp with a kneeling woman and amber crackle glass globe. I think the metal is just spelter with a bronze finish. Although not 100% sure of the composition, I'm just making an educated guess. The lamp itself has a great patina consistent with it's age. There is no damage at all to the base or the globe. There are no chips or cracks on the base. The globe is also chip and crack free. The only thing I will mention is the fixture that the globe sits on is a little loose. It is not damaged or a defect, it is just the way the lamp was produced. The height of the lamp with the globe is roughly 16" The bases measures roughly 4.5" x 5" The globe is about 5" in diameter. This is a antique pair french style metal figural table lamps. These lamps have a wonderful design. Detail, and look. The lamp with the man standing on top of a world globe and he is in robe like clothing with a red bird in his hand. The entire lamp from base to top of the finial stands approx 36" The lamp with the woman also stands approx 36" tall. She is standing on a ship like steering wheel with waves coming along side the wheel. She is also in robe like clothing and has a bird in her hand. I have looked the lamps over and I do not see any breakage. There is as you see in the pictures paints loss over the figural bodies of these great lamps. They are still wonderful in the condition that they are in or you could have them refinished. Like with all antique lighting they will need to be rewired. The woman lamp does have a plug ... morethe man lamp does not. I am unsure of the marker of these lamps because I have not found any markings. Description This is a stunning pair of antique metal lamps with original painted finish. Cherubs are beautiful and detailed. Lamps measure 29" overall- Cherub figure from feet to top of head is 17-1/2" Base is 9" in diameter. There is a logo or stamp on the part between the cherub's feet- looks like the fleur-de-lis but cannot read it- tried to show it in picture. Lamps are in good condition- no breaks but a few chips in paint as I have shown on one of the arms. Overall the finishes are in good condition- one is a bit duller than the other- probably exposed to more direct light. They are in original working condition but as with any electrical item they should be checked before using as screws can loosen during shipping. THEY WERE DESCRIBED AS c1920 BRITANNIA METAL VICTORIAN CHERUB LAMPS. THERE ARE NO MARKS. SIGNATURES, OR DATES ON THE LAMPS. SOME OF THE PEWTER MADE AFTER 1840 HAD A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT COMPOSITION AND WAS CALLED BRITANNIA METAL. UPON HAVING THEM APPRAISED. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE LAMPS WERE CONVERTED VICTORIAN GAS LAMPS. CIRCA 1880 AND MOST LIKELY MADE FROM"SPELTER" A GRAYISH ZINC ALLOY THAT IN IT'S NATURAL STATE RESEMBLES PEWTER BUT IS OFTEN PAINTED OR GIVEN A BRONZE PATINA TO MAKE IT APPEAR TO BE BRONZE. I WAS ADVISED THAT IN THE CURRENT MARKET. COMPARABLE LAMPS SELL FOR $600 TO $800 EACH. I CANNOT BE CERTAIN OF WHICH TYPE THEY ACTUALLY ARE. SO I AM PRICING THEM ACCORDINGLY. DETAILS: THE LAMP HEIGHT MEASURES 30" FROM BASE TO TIP OF GLOBE. THE GLOBE IS OF FROSTED GLASS WITH ETCHED DESIGN. THE BASE IS TRIANGULAR AND MEASURES 7" AT THE WIDEST POINT. EACH LAMP WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 10 POUNDS. ELECTRICAL WIRING WORKS AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION. AS WITH ALL ANTIQUES. NORMAL SIGNS OF USE OR WEAR SHOULD BE EXPECTED. Art Nouveau boudoir lamp. Fancy cast metal detail. Paint has worn thru the years. You could restore or leave as is. I think it's beautiful just as is. Good working condition.
