Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

They are hand painted in brown on the unique design. The inside top of the shade is rough with what seem like chips but it is the craftsmansh i p of these old shades. They a re heavy and solid but delicate at the same time. They stand 5 1/2" high and the base diameter is 4 3/4" at the widest edge and approx 4" at the very bottom base of the shade. The top globe has 5 pink roses, the background morphs from a pale pink to a soft yellow. The base has smaller roses and more leaves, the background has the same gradual fade from pink to yellow. The raised white paint in some areas has a nice warm, highlighted effect. There are no chips, or cracks in the lamp, there is one little flea bite on the top rim, you have to look for the bite. The bottom is signed PG Co which I am thinking Pittsburgh Glass Co. This lamp has been converted to electric. The metal is brass. The screw that raises ... morethe wick does work and is marked made in US of America. the bass is 8 inches.This lovely lamp would bring a warm glow to any room and would display nicely in a window. Antique Fostoria GWTW Hand Painted Cosmos Flowers(I believe) Oil Lamp Base Cast iron foot is marked" FG" 617" If there is no bid in the first 24 hours we WILL put a reserve on it or END the auction. This GWTW oil lamp base is in great condition! See all pictures as they are part of our description! It measures approx 10 1/2" to the top of the brass rim. The cast foot is approx 6" square. The widest part of the font is approx 7 1/2" wide(at the two feathery leaf designs sticking out on the sides) The inside of the base. Where an oil pot sits(not included) is 4 3/4" in diameter by 3" deep. The glass base/font is in great shape and the colors include greens. Yellows, pinks and a touch of brown accents. There are some dirty spots and possibly some fading. It might come out nicer with a deeper cleaning and ... morepolishing, but will leave that up to the high bidder. I basically dusted it for pics. There are four seams on this glass font. The foot and the front/back don't line up squarely and you can see this in the first four pictures of the front and sides. There are raised feathery/leafy designs in the glass at the top and bottom edges and on the two sides. The two sides have a slightly different feathery/leafy design. There is also a wide swirled rib pattern in the glass. I believe the flowers are Cosmos flowers. Or something similar. I can see some heavy swirls in the glass. Which adds nice character. There are no cracks on this base. But I do see a chip which is on the rim where the oil pot liner sits, although the liner does not cover this rim very well. It could be possible this is not the original liner. The oil pot liner has some wear and some light surface rust. But that is usual for these old lamps. It is magnetic, so it is not brass. The brass connector between the foot and glass font is not magnetic and in good shape. It does have some wear to the finish. But no cracks. The cast iron foot has a slight rock to it. Exquisite! This is an extremely nice and rare pair of antique lamps. This beautiful pair features fine porcelain with green glaze paint. And exceptionally hand painted in a floral and leaf pattern. The hand painting is expertly accomplished with beautiful and purposeful brush strokes. The floral design is hand outlined in a gold gilt/gild paint. The porcelain section of each lamp is"footed" in gold and rests upon a circular brass base. The porcelain sections also have a long neck which are also highlighted with gold gilt. There are no manufacturers marks, but the lamps are each signed"La Touche" which is French for"touched" with the meaning of"something that moves you" These lamps certainly will move you as they are spectacular! The pair are in excellent. Antique condition. There are no chips or cracks ... moreto the porcelain. There is no crazing to the finish. The brass bases have an aged patina. Large Antique Lamp.Hand Painted Pink Roses& Gold, This auction is for a huge antique lamp that has beautiful hand painted roses and gold colored accents against royal blue backgrounds. From the metal base to the top of vase area. It measures about 18" and from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial it measures about 33" It has these gorgeous large pink and red roses and also buds, but I cannot find any signatures as to who did this. It is mounted on a metal base with a brass or gold finish which shows some wear in areas. We have had this about forty years and two years ago we had it professionally rewired. It has a double light socket and still has the original finial. The backside of the lamp is rather plain as you can see in the pictures. The only two issues that I can see are shown in the last couple of photos. There ... moreare two scratches in the paint on the backside,near the base. Also around the brass plate on top of the lamp there is some wear areas but there are no cracks or repairs to the lamp and it does display beautifully. It will require a very large box for shipping and to save somewhat on the shipping cost, the rod that holds the sockets unscrews and therefore the height of the box will decrease. The 1920's 6.500 square foot, eight bedroom manor house is still located high on a hillside overlooking the Butternuts Valley and township of Gilbertsville. In our final photo, you can get a peak of the entrance through the kitchen windows! Peter was the grandson of Jabez Boswick, who was the Secretary Treasurer of Standard Oil and partners in business with the Rockefeller brothers. This is an Antique Art Nouveau Bisque Vase or Urn Lamp with Gold Gilt and Hand Painted Floral from an American Polo Estate. It comes to us directly out of Peter Boswick's Gilbertsville. NY Manor House ... morehere in the United States. The overall color is a very soft, chartreuse green. It is on a marvelous bronzed, filigree metal base. It measures 34" high from the base to the top of the finial x 7 1/2" wide from side to side, and weigh 5 pounds, 15.5 ounces. The shade is 17" high x 18" wide and seems like a"marriage" of eras, since the painting is very Art Nouveau, and the shade seems to be very Victorian by design. This does show some chips to the base and will need to be rewired. It is a very pretty hand painted bisque lamp. The four figures that comprises as the main section of the lamp and third the decorative lamp shade. This is the ultimate lamp for a Victorian, Colonel, or even an Art Deco room in your home. 1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. Hello. This"as found" pair of re-purposed chemist or pharmacist apothecary jars are beautiful. Look closely at all the pictures to see all the beautifully Hand Painted pink roses and gold banding. 1700's Antique Hand Painted Ceramic with 14 Karat Gold Trim Lamp
I was given this item to sell by someone I know. I'm not 100% sure about it's authenticity. But here's what I was told. This item was made around 1760 by Georg Heinrich Macheleidr, in Germany, before he actually opened his factory as a prototype. It is hand painted with 24 Karat gold trim on the handles and some of the paintwork. Originally this was a candle lamp that was converted to electricity in the early 1900's. The trademark g marking is on the inside on the bottom. Picture is included. As well, the lamp was appraised about 20 years ago for $3,200. No idea what it's current value is on the market, so going with what we know.

Antique Vintage Italian Porcelain Winged Dragon Bust Hand Painted Lamp + Shade
This is an Absolutely Stunning Antique Porcelain Italian Hand-Painted Table Lamp. The lamp has two handles with winged gold gilded dragon bust figurines on it. The lamp has a capodimonte raised floral pattern on the lamp. Basic colors are green and white with gold trim. The original tag is still on the lamp and it says it was made in Italy. The lamp shade is very different and very large measuring 19" tall by 21" by across at the bottom by 11 1/2" across at the top. It is a gold filigree type lace over a metal type frame. The shade has some water stains on it. The lamp with shade stands 37" tall with shade on it. There is a fabric type rose which is pinned to the shade. This is the history that I know about the lamp. It belonged by my girl friend's great grandmother so she is guessing it is over 100 years old. This ... moreis all original. The Table Lamp measures 32" tall to the top of the finial. 12" wide across the dragons busts, with the metal base being 7" across. There are shaped openings around the neck and middle of the lamp which go completely around the lamp and are painted in gold. There is one small chip to one of the flowers but other than that I don't see any problems. The lamp is in excellent working condition. The women's breast are exposed half way there is also of work put into this lamp. I belive it's from 1920s or earlier. Lamp is 21 1/2 inches tall at top of chimney. Top globe is 9 inches high& 28" inches around the top hole is 3 1/2" with metal ring also bottom hole of globe is 4" across. Bottom globe is 6 inches high& 9 inches across. The round knob has Eagle- Made in USA marked on it. The lamp is typical of lamps made circa 1880's- 1915. It does say Made in US America on the wick knob. It has a dark spot like paint on top globe near metal ring the size of salt grain see next to last pictures so you can see it on the top globe. Beautiful hand painted daisies. The lamp has been 3-way electrified and lights up top& bottom. An antique hand painted porcelain figurine lamp is of a green coated. Brown breeches, colonial male. Hand painted. The figurine is decorated with a pink rose with green leaves. The white base is gold outlined roses. Beautiful new white silk shade. Small area on right hand has been glued but not very noticeable. I had the lamp in the shop some time before I noticed it. Lamp stands overall 16" high, figurine is 6" high, base about 3" high, shade 9" diameter, base 3 1/2" diameter. Original 2 pronged wire works. Overall it is in good condition. Is 9 inches wide Font is also 9 inches wide It has the Fostoria marking on the underside of the Metal Ornate Base. The Brass font is in excellent condition with no cracks.Or leaks and was tested and holds liquid. The only thing it needs is a flame spreader and wick for it to be in great working condition. Beautiful Pair of Peerl Opal Lamps. Each lamp is one of kind hand painted and artist signed. Rare. Hard to find and cherished by collectors. These lamps have a wonderful red blossoming rose with pedals and vine painting Circa 1910-1920's. Materials are Opal and Brass Height 33" to top of harp and 19 1/2" of body. Width 7 1/2" Lamps are in VG/EX condition. Both lamps may need minor cosmetic cleaning i.e. brass cleaning. One lamp has a crack at mid base. I enclosed a photo. This can be repaired. All pieces are together. From one side or at a distance it is unnoticeable. Both are working and have been rewired at different times. Antique Porcelain Lamp. Lovely Hand Painted Roses, Marble Base& Bronze Hardware Old vintage. Most probably antique, hand painted floral porcelain marble base and bronze hardware. Rewired with a switch change, but not recently. Transitional style of the upper porcelain section is reminiscent of the oil tank on a Victorian oil lamp which was common with very early electric lamps. There are a couple of scratches to the floral paint, but overall the lamp is in very good condition and the roses are still very beautiful. This lamp would make a great addition to your Victorian décor, home or B&B. Very collectable and authentic 19th or early 20th century.

This was my grandmother who was from Hungary. So Im not sure it was purchased there or in the USA, where she came as a young woman.
