Issues are as follows: the mid-section of the pole has a fair amount of pitting and the back sides of shades show wear(as shown in photos. Which go from top to bottom, fronts then the backs- ie, the first three are top/middle/bottom fronts and the next three show the wear on the top/middle ones- is most significant on the top one, not too bad on the middle one and the bottom one has the flaws as shown. Additionally, the insides of the shades have some wear- the photo is of the top one and it is the worst of the three. Fortunately the shades swivel/rotate. So depending on your setup, these issues are not that difficult to conceal, especially in a corner. I will be listing a similar item on Friday 2/8 if you might be interested All of my auctions are always Satisfaction Guaranteed and I ship within five(5) business days of completed payment. The wiring seems replaces but old. The brass fitting that the bulb goes into also appears to be newer that the lamp. We have 6 listed this week.My Great Uncle owned a lamp shop in DC for almost 50 years. From the late 30's until the early 80's. The lamps we have listed this week came from his estate. My aunt, his daughter, recently passed away and we took these parts from her attic. Her Dad had strung these parts in order on a piece of wire and had them hanging in his shop. After he passed my aunt brought them home and hung them in her attic. About 10 years ago she gave us a strand of these parts. We found a threaded pole here on ebay and took the pieces ... moreoff of the wire, sliding them down the pole in the order they came off of the wire and we have had a beautiful slag glass floor lamp ever since. My aunt has recently passed away and these parts came from her attic.This one has what looks to me to be a green vaseline type glass incorporated into its design one of which has chips as shown but the others are fine. The cast iron base and steel parts had been stripped of their paint and or plating years ago and they got rusty so I took my wire wheel and went over them but you'll still need to brush them again before painting however most of the prep work is done. The base is really rusty on the under side but I cleaned the threads up and they look fine. There are 2 matching brass tubes. I polished a small area of one of the tubes so you can see what they'll look like once cleaned up. I do not have any sockets and of course the pole is missing too but the threads in the base look fine. Awesome Art Deco style swing arm floor lamp. This is a very ornate piece and will restore beautifully. Someone put some tan color paint on the base. I think this will come off very easily. A lot came off when I was brushing it off with a straw whis k broom. The base is a cast metal material with 4 small feet and is marked on the bottom(HF-5) The bottom ornate stem piece. And the spacer piece just under the arm is cast brass. The middle stem is a fluted lighter metal, I'm not sure if that is the original color or someone painted that too. The swing arm moves freely and I think It has a 3-way switch. It has been re-wired and works good. The wire has#s on it(18/2 SPT-1 Pot-64 105 C AIW-R) the cord measures 7' 4" long. Upper globe has been broken and reglued. But there are countless options for how to top this lamp. Has the patina of time. No real damage to the body(one screw for retaining the top globe is missing, but that’s a.10 cent item) Has 2 light sources. First is a fluorescent 12” GE bulb(ballast box is in the base) weight helps stabilize the lamp. Light is held in place by 3 spring loaded“eagle talons” This light is on its own switch. Second light is much ... morelarger than a 100 watt bulb. In fact the base is big, about 1 1/2" I bought a 175 watt bulb and screwed it in and when I turned it on it just flashed and then went out and wouldn't come back on. So I know there is power there, but I think I had the wrong bulb. To summarize. The fluorescent light works fine. The up-light has power, but I don't have a bulb for it. Additionally, it might be better to install a 100-watt standard light socket in the top for future convenience(easy 15 minute job) Base has marble accent and above that a row of faces cast into the metal. Lamp is 62” tall to the top of the globe. This would be a great piece to have a custom circular neon light made for. And then a custom globe blown for the top light. Up for your consideration is an antique floor lamp– 64” tall with a 22” diameter green slag glass shade in excellent condition. No cracks or breaks. The wood pole is a substantial piece– 12-1/2” diameter solid base maple base with a hole in the center for wiring. The pole section of the lamp has a bottom dimeter of 5” and tapers slowly to a 2-3/4” diameter at the top. It is an uncommon heavy base that easily supports the large glass shade. Because of its large size it will all have to be shipped in 2-3 boxes. Reassembly may not require tools and I am always on line should you need help. Shipping will be FREE.

Victorian Antique Floor Lamp, Twist and Carved Mahogany
This is a beautiful. Rare, antique, solid mahogany floor lamp with custom made shade. It has a twist mahogany pole(larger at the top, smaller on the bottom) and carved acanthus leaf detail on the base with claw and ball feet. The lamp takes two bulbs(not included) and has pull chains for each so you can lite one or both. I purchased this lamp from an antique dealer about 10 years ago for $800, and then had the shade made for it at an additional cost. It is beautiful and in great condition except for a small crack at the base as pictured. Recently I saw a 1920's barley twist lamp that was not nearly as nice as this, no detail, not mahogany wood) selling for $500. I had the shade made for the lamp and it is signed by the maker. 1930s antique bridge floor lamp with houze glass base, brass outer tubing
Up for auciton is this 1930s lamp that has a seven inch square houze glass base. The lamp retains some of its original green. Red and gold paint on its bridge, column break adn column pieces. The brass pole pieces are very clean. The lamp base as well as other pcs are clean. Minor cleaning should be done to the bottom of the base. I have replaced the glass piece with a chip and crack free base. The paddle wheel socket work. Buyer will have to rewire the lamp. To protect the pieces. Pink and Yellow Antique Houze Glass Floor Lamp
The lamp has five pieces of glass. A yellow donut and glass ball and three pink glass breaks. The lamp has four two inch breaks, a 3 or 4 inch square break and an outstanding column break. Judging from the column and 3 or 4 inch square pieces, this lamp is one of the earliest houze glass lamps I have seen. The pieces of houze glass have no chips or cracks in them. The lamp has some of its original paint on it. one side of the base has much more paint on it then the other sides) Original finial. I have seen this finial on lamps similar to this one) Lamp stands about 5 feet. The bottom of the base and the piece below the bottom yellow glasss will need some minor rust removal. It is not eaten through and will not show once it is cleaned up. The pull chain socket unit needs to be replaced. The sockets do work well. They can be placed in an antique ... moresocket casing if you have one. The wiring has been discarded and will have to be replaced. The lamp is a restoration project. this is a beautiful floor ashtray table lamp. i wish i had the original trays that go in the holes but i don't. the cast iron has a nickel finish and it needs to be cleaned and so does the other metal areas of this lamp. i haven't had time to do it properly. there is a brass finial at the top. Then 3 light socket areas, they still have fabric cording that i would suggest changing) the center table area has 4 hole areas(2 that are 3 3/4 in. 1 that is 2 1/8 in. and 1 that is 2.5 in.the center table area itself is 11 in. wide and 1 in. tall. there are 5 pink glass pieces-3 flower shapes, and 2 hobnail textured pieces. the whole lamp is 60 in. tall. the base is 9.5 in. wide and has a fan design. on the bottom of the table it says maidrite lamp co. pat. pend. and 2 symbols with an N& L in them. this lamp needs rewiring. view my other ... morelamp listings. can combine shipping.

Antique floor bridge lamp rewired with pull chain glass shade houze art nouveau
I have other lamps listed and more on the way. This is a beautiful old lamp with some original paint but it is worn. They just don't make lamps like this anymore this is so neat. The base has a cool design the 4 corners almost look like a face in the design. It has been rewired so it is ready to use. The socket has a pull chain and the glass shade is nice again it has wear but no chips or cracks. It does have a small white spec incased in the glass this is normal in really old glass and lets you know it is old.

I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. This lamp was working when I purchased it at an estate sale. Prior to its sale. It was being used. I have never seen one like this. The lamp has as a rust free 11 inch square base and is four inches high. The green onyx base is 6.5 inches square and 1+ inch high. The base has a 3/4 inch green paint. There are four pieces and two rings that make up the column. Three of the pieces have the same of green paint the base has. The paint is original to the base) The long out pole piece has two breaks in it. Three out of the five or six pieces below the candleabra socket unit again is painted green. Four light candleabra.
