All of the parts are original including the twisted cloth wall cord and head cord. It was repainted black a long time ago. It doesn't look very bad. As you can see from the photos, but it isn't a professional job. You can see some of the brush strokes once you really start looking and they painted the head cord and guard while they were at it. It's in great mechanical condition. It's fully tested and it works and oscillates on all three speeds. And everything operates as it should. The blades are balanced and it doesn't make any more noise than it should or erratically vibrate. It's not bad cosmetically either. Even despite the repaint it puts on a pretty good show. The felt on the bottom is destroyed. And there's a light dent and some surface rust on the bottom plate. It has some paint wear and some chipping. It doesn't have any serious issues. Nothing is broken, no pieces are missing, the guard is straight, the plug and cord are in good condition, and there's no rust on the body or corrosion or oxidation on any of the brass. I apologize for the high shipping cost. But this fan large and heavy, and will have to be disassembled and properly packaged in a large box. Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. Ornate lamp has a marble column and beautiful patina. It has a pull chain and is in excellent condition with beautiful patina. The lamp works well but the cord is older and should be replaced. The lamp is adjustable and measures 25” 29” high. It can also be lowered more by using a smaller lamp shade. The lamp shade is stained and I am not sure if it is the original or not. I have for auction a 1920's moonstone boudoir lamp. The shade and the base are both made of moonstone. Both are octagonal shaped. Very pretty little lamp. White moonstone has some(maybe 2 or 3) flea bites on the base. Has original finial. The lamp measures about 10-1/2" from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial. After a lot of research. And thanks to other EBay sellers, I found out that this is an electric 3 way hurricane lamp, with a frosted off white lower globe. It has a footed base with crow on the lower globe. The lamp has a lower night light, upper light or option to light both. From the bottom of the base to where the bulb screws in is 14 1/4" The round piece at the top is 10" in diameter, the bottom is 8" wide. The bulb in the bottom is one of those old fashioned Christmas tree bulbs. If you get a top piece to fit this lamp you are definitely going to have a great center/conversation piece. Antique Miller's Vestal Brass Kerosene lamp that has been converted to electric. It is in antique condition with some tarnish and a few minor small dents. Second photo shows light on with 15 watt bulb. Included. No dents or cracks or chips anywhere on the lamp base or the glass. The base is all original with a 10 ft cord, plug should be replaced. Base is painted gold and shows a crackle aged finish. The chimney appears more modern, but any 3" diameter glass shade should fit. Antique Parlor Oil Kerosene Lamp Converted Electric Light Aladdin HobNail Green
The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

This is pair of antique amber flash cut glass lamps. The lamps are identical and stand straight up(unlike my picutre which was taken on an angle) The glass part of the lamp looks like the old oil lamps and was probably the same pattern and one of the first electric lights. Both are in excellent condition with no nicks. Crack, or crazing on the glass. The bottom of the lamps is marble and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches square. The lamps are about 15 inches high and the glass portion is 5 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches across at the widest spot. These are a rare find in such excellent condition. Vintage 1930's antique brass table lamp with hobnail milk glass. This is a project piece. Although it works, it has definitely seen better days in its 70+ years. The base is cracked in 9 places and the bakelite strain relief screw is broken. The original milk glass shade is long gone as is the glass chimney. But the glass bowl is in perfect condition. As is the brass chimney holder and the Leviton bakelite twisty knob, so I couldn't throw it away. It was simply too cool to pitch.
